Summary: Nathan's new business opens for business

The opening of She'ol was a grand event, the lights of the building brightening up the Underground and twinkling on the walls and ceiling above it. It was a beautiful and classy establishment to behold and one wouldn't realize it was a strip club upon first review. It invited the world to come in and visit...

However, people were being turned away for not having their Grand Opening invitations. After this day, anyone could come but it was essential to have that invitation to get inside.

And once inside people were treated to a stunning entrance and the best of service to take coats. The bar is just waiting for someone to come forward but if that didn't interest people then there were always the different stages where one could watch the dancers perform and even a few private rooms for better shows.

It was a rule that no one could touch the dancers though. It was important to remember that in order to keep limbs intact.

[ooc: She'ol is open for business. Meant to get this up last night but forgot. Anyway, you are free to assume your character got one of the invitations to get inside since they weren't that hard to get hold of. Remember that it is a strip club so there are strippers (male, female, etc.) dancing at any given time. Enjoy!]

[ she laughed then and leaned in close, flicking at his hat. ] Do you like him then?

[ Nathan, of course. Mr. Mad Hatter seems to always pop up when one of the other of her chevaliers are nearby... How interesting. ]

Hmm... [ she tilts her head, considering. ] There are ways to like someone. [ Nathan liked her after all. Although she was special. ]

Raikov tries his hardest to remain smiling as he lowers his rejected hand]

[ she latches onto an arm then, stealing ne away. ] Do you count him as friend? Foe?

[ she smiled sharply, drawing in a deep breath before... ] Are you lunch? [ whatever taste Nathan's may be, one never forgot (easily) just who they were. ]

[ she smiled then, leaning in close to run a hand across his jacket, fingering the edges. ]

Are you? He's never mentioned one to me.

[ but then again, Nathan had so many lovers in the past. What was one more to add to the bed post? Nothing ]

[Whatever Diva, you can't really steal something that isn't anyone's to begin with. Still ne doesn't pull away but walks with her.

Friend is a funny idea still and ne only has a few ne considers enough to be enemies.] Acquaintance.

[And Karl is not that stupid, to feed off a devil, why would Nathan be so?] No, One is most certainly not to his taste that way either. There has only been one here in the City to try this One's blood--you should ask him if it's any good.

[Oh, is she testing his patience. The corner of his mouth twitches and he clenches his hands at his sides, his knuckles white. He doesn't believe Nathan forgot to mention him on purpose... perhaps he's just been too busy.]

[ of course she can. She just doesn't ever let him go ] And who was that? [ she doesn't care for opinions other then her own but curious is something else. ]

What he does, is his own. [ so long as she gets everything she wants, who cares? ] Are you the only one, or are there others?

[ there's been so many over the years. She can hardly count. ]

[ starting to get cold feet, hm? Diva won't stop him. After all, it is a bar. ]

Ah... then he must really like you.

[ she smiled sharply, raking him over critically ]

I guess you'll do.

[ at the lest, he holds little temptation for Diva. She prefers her men... young ]

[His eyes meet with Diva's and he glares at her intensely]

I don't need your approval.

[To which he excuses himself without even saying so and goes to hit the bar]

[ she laughed then and trailed after him. Honestly, Nathan's lovers are always so cute when they're flustered. ]

You don't? But if you want to stay with him forever you might need my help.

[ she'd do it, if Nathan asked. But only if. ]

[He glances over his shoulder. His expression seems to soften a bit.]

... I'd rather not live forever, as much as I like Nathan.

[ her own smile softened as she trailed behind ] But he gets ever so lonely when I'm sleeping... [ her deep sleep wasn't by choice; it never was. She worried, sometimes. ]

[He still is skeptical of her but she does seem to really care for Nathan...

What would that mean though? Being immortal? Never having to sleep... Having super human abilities. It's tempting. But he'd be serving a woman.

Raikov orders a drink then remains silent for a moment or two after. It seems too easy. There has to be a catch.]

... I'll think about it.

[ she brushed a hand across his cheek, smirking ]

You will?

[ Don't wait too long. She may forget the offer in the morning. ]

[He jerks a little away from her hand]

If I agreed, what would happen?

[ she paused, half way to turning to leave him be with his "thoughts" and half way to leaning in to smell him. A conundrum, at best. ]

Oh? Why, you'd die of course. And then you'd get to live.

[Dying. They say when you die in the City, you can't go back home. As Raikov's drink arrives, he stirrs it, acting as if the thought doesn't bother him]

No thanks then.

Hmm...

[ she held his gaze for another long moment before shrugging ]

Suit yourself.

[ because in the end, it would never be his choice. What she wanted, she took. But for today, he can keep his mortality. Nathan may grow bored of him yet. ]
