"My time here in the City has taught me two things," he replies, as she locks the door. "One, that each day brings something new that encourages one to turn to drink, and two, that there are, consequently, a number of excellent bars to be found. I think I know just the place."

He's content to the lead the way, and confident that his choice in venues will impress her. Though the City doesn't have the type of bar he's sure she's used to in New York, he's sure they can make do with what they have.
