anyhow, sulu's managed to acquire an appropriate ensemble from somewhere or another, and there's an oddly-shaped packaged tucked under his arm when he arrives. though he's smiling all the while he does tend to hug walls and observe more than partake in party festivities. he's perfectly charming if approached, though. )
