Log; Ongoing
When: September 28th
Rating: PG, maybe PG-13 for language?
Characters: Sands
blind_shot and Veronica
how_very_v
Summary: Veronica heads to Sands' place after a dramatic and bewildering declaration of love for a little talk.
Log:
Veronica had woken up feeling a tiny bit off. She knew it was a curse day, having seen Ran de-aged to childhood and half the City change genders, but since she wasn't affected that way, she was worried about exactly how she had been. And then Sands, with the seemingly left-field declaration of undying love , made her feel even weirder. It had to be the curse day, there was no other explanation for... that, but somehow it just felt... right.
It felt like it did with JD. That was the scariest thing.
And she had said so. Admitting to feeling that, for her boss, when she'd sworn never to be that stupid again nagged at her something terrible. But it was muted, dimmed by the fact that yeah, maybe she wouldn't mind being with Sands. They get along, and it's not like he's hard to look at, and every once in a while she's caught herself wondering what it'd be like to-- but what the hell, that's just stupid hormones, it doesn't mean anything. So she'd thought.
Now, though, letting herself into Sands' apartment and slipping the jacket he'd given her off her shoulders and onto the back of a chair, she wasn't so sure. "Boss?"
