Log;

Tatsumi trailed behind Tsuzuki silently as the purple-eyed shinigami happily walked with a spring in his step towards the fountain. He had winced when he learned well the Sakurazuka wished to meet; it was just like the assassin to further remind him of what had gone between them by deigning the fountain their meeting point for that afternoon's 'get together'. Keeping the dark thoughts away was difficult as he followed Tsuzuki, but seeing him so oblivious helped his resolve a bit. He reminded himself why he was coming; to ensure that smile remained oblivious and genuinely happy.

He doubted the Sakurazuka valued Tsuzuki's happiness as much as he did. Tatsumi worried for the damage that could be done, whether physical or not, on Tsuzuki, and for that reason, he was willing to suffer a little hell.

It had been a tedious thing, getting ready to meet Seishirou, but somehow, he’d managed to do it. Rummaging through clothes, tripping over Hisoka’s katana he’d craftily hidden, and wiggling into jeans, Tsuzuki had readied to look relaxed but presentable, something he’d mercilessly teased Tatsumi for as they’d left the apartment and headed towards their decided rendezvous point since he was still dressed in the atypical work suit. He was excited, visibly so, and even his shikigami were clamoring at him to take a breather inside his head.

Glancing over his shoulder, he wondered what Tatsumi was thinking so hard about that left him without that pleasing smile on his face.

“Tatsumi?” Tsuzuki stopped to grab the other shinigami by the hand and began dragging him along at a faster pace. “Come on!” He really didn’t want to keep their new friend waiting, if such was the case in the end.

He had taken it upon himself, this time, to be the one waiting for his guests. Seishirou sat at the edge of the fountain, carefully finishing his cigarette before he finally crushed the stub into the sidewalk. The idea of having both Tatsumi and his Tsuzuki-san out on a gathering in the city was amusement enough - Tatsumi was obviously protective of his... special friend. And that phrase brought a smirk to his lips. Special friend, indeed. The lady doth protest much.

Soon, he spotted a pair of people approaching him from the corner of his eye, and he turned about to face them. Sure enough, it was Tatsumi being led by another man... who was pulling him by the hand. That had to be his, ah, special friend. He smiled at them, waving them both over cheerily. "Tsuzuki-san, Tatsumi-san. So good to see you've arrived," he greeted, smiling as he stepped over the stub of his finished cigarette.

There was a quick glance between the two men as they greeted each other, Seishirou’s smile catching Tsuzuki somewhat off-guard before he pushed it away and stretched out his free hand towards the other in semblance of greeting. Tatsumi continued being his polite self, another interesting point that had Tsuzuki’s mind racing in circles until he simply shrugged and stared, taking in the other man’s appearance.

And it was almost terrifying how similar Seishirou reminded him of Tatsumi, though only physically. Tsuzuki was relatively sure no one could be as the other shinigami, especially since he still allowed him the opportunity to hold his hand in public. But of course, he remembered his manners first.

“I hope you weren’t waiting too long,” he started, taking the hand he’d originally offered in invitation to shake and rubbing the back of his head in an almost embarrassed manner. “I’m not so good with keeping time.” Reflexively, Tsuzuki squeezed Tatsumi’s hand. “He doesn’t mind, Tatsumi!”

Violet eyes peered at the other curiously. “Do you?”

Seishirou chuckled at Tsuzuki's reactions, and he likewise returned the greeting gestures that he received from the other two. "I do not mind if I had to wait - I busied myself with other things," he replied simply to Tsuzuki before eyeing Tatsumi with a strange look. So Tatsumi was going to pretend not to know him. How amusing. Perhaps this would be more fun than he had anticipated.

"Besides, it is a mere honour to be accompanied by you both." How true. He still smiled charmingly, shooting Tsuzuki a sweet smile before looking around with contemplation. "Though I do wonder what would be the best place for us to experience something tasty?" Therein lie the dilemma. Or did it?

It was obvious in the manner Tsuzuki tugged at Tatsumi’s hand to pull him forward a step at Seishirou’s mention of tasty that he was eager to get there, wherever there happened to be, and enjoy himself. Perhaps Tatsumi would share a dessert with him, and they could bring something home for Hisoka. Oh, and that thought instantly made the shinigami wonder what types of things Seishirou liked too.

Only a natural reaction, Tsuzuki continued to smile, directing his glance away from the one he’d attached himself to and towards their newest companion.

“Where are we going?” The simple question instigated a chain reaction of quick words that flowed off Tsuzuki’s tongue in an example of his excited nature. “Do you like sweets? Cake? Pie?” He rubbed at his head again. “I’m sure you told me, but I…”

He shrugged, sheepishly staring at his shoes for a moment before lifting his head up with a lope-sided grin in place.

How cute. And Tatsumi had been right in wanting to divert his attentions from Tsuzuki; he found the third man very amusing and somewhat appealing, indeed. Seishirou eyed Tsuzuki with a perked brow and a grin before he finally allowed a look of dawning comprehension to cross his face. "Aha! I came across a rather fine restaurant that served some nice desserts," he suggested with an almost sickeningly perky lilt in his voice. "I don't believe it's too far away, either."

Tatsumi probably already knew just what the destination was; certainly, his description would tip him off. The thought of what Tatsumi's potential reactions could be was an amusement, indeed. "Italian will be all right, won't it?" he asked encouragingly.
