Summary; Tayuya, looking for a sparring partner, takes Orochimaru's ally in the City, Aizen Sousuke, up on his offer.
Log;
Tayuya arrived at the designated meeting place, a small clearing in the forest surrounding the City, looking around for the shinigami man she was supposed to meet. She had been looking for a sparring partnet, but she'd never expected to be taken up on her offer by Orochimaru-sama's temporary ally in the City, the shinigami Aizen Sousuke.

She knew the man was powerful, Orochimaru-sama didn't ally himself with weaklings, but she had a sinking feeling that the man was even more powerful than she had imagined. Shifting uneasily, she checked her weapons. Flute, kunai, explosive tags... cursing under her breath, she waited, eyes darting about warily. The sound ninja didn't think he'd kill her... but she didn't know what to think. She'd only seen the shinigami once before, after they'd held that other shinigami woman for experimentation. And she thought there was more than met the eye.

In a blur of motion his left hand lashed out. Each of the kunai had been caught between his fingers.

"Good. I like that spirit."

He dodged to the side and tossed a novice level fire spell at her.

Aizen watched her and listened as the tune played. He folded his arms and listened carefully to the tune, then began to walk toward her.

"I don't know what this is supposed to do, but I doubt it will work the way you wish it to."

He uses his reiatsu in the atmosphere. A great, almost crushingly oppressive aura comes down on Tayuya.

"I said I want to see your real strength. Or is this your limit?"

Aizen pulled back his reiatsu and allowed her to stand and regain her stamina.

"If you had continued like that, your body would have given out long before my hold was broken."

He appraised her from a distance and then approached.

"Is that it, then?"

He was immediately beside her with his hand on her shoulder. He interest was suddenly piqued.

"What's that?'

He roughly turned her around to examine the mark on her neck.

"I suppose this is one of the "seals" I keep hearing about," he mused, tracing it with his fingers.

"It appears that it is getting rather testy. It isn't very intelligent to make something which consumes ones body as it is used. Short term strength is not as important as long-term endurance."

He investigated the mark, oblivious to her pain, and decided to experiment.

"Let's see if this works..."

With a quick motion, he performed a short-term sealing kido on her mark, to quell the raging energy.

He released her and stepped back.

"I merely satisfied my curiosity. I assumed that our energies were similar, and I was correct. Therefore, I applied a power-sealing kido on your mark. I would say it was successful. Your ability to use the mark again should return within the hour."

He looked around, then addressed her again.

"All in all, this was informative. Thank you."

"Yes. Tell him that he should refine his methods of using seals, as I said before. Low-level troops and be sacrificed at any time, but more important ones should not be given that which will decrease them in the long run. Your seal gives you great power, but drains your life. It is wasteful and inefficient."

And then he was simply gone.
