RP Log: Setsuka, Kamui, and Seishirou [INCOMPLETE]
When; Midnight, 14 November.
Rating; PG-13 for now.
Characters; Sakurazuka Setsuka (
tsubakihitokiri), Sakurazuka Seishirou (
sakurazuka_san), and Shirou Kamui (
fateisabitch)
Summary; Don't mess with a Sakurazukamori.
Log;
It had become far too important not to receive such information from his ally now. What really peeved him was that Kamui had managed to slip away without divulging anything. And all on the grounds that it would betray Subaru.
The thought was ridiculous.
Calmly, silently, he rested against the trunk of the sakura tree and watched ahead for his informant. Setsuka had accompanied him, but he had offered little but silence for her on the walk. While he looked calm on the surface, a storm raged on within his mind. Kamui had been rather cheeky with him, as well... It seemed that he would have to use some force to show just where the other's place was.
Seishirou lazily looked out of the corner of his eye to his mother, but the look lasted only briefly. Dully, he wondered if she would give a damn if he were to light a cigarette.

True, she was quite pleased knowing that he had found such a love... But she didn't much like how it had changed him. Only she could notice these changes, of course. Only she could see that he was actually angry, and not merely picking on people out of fun.
Though, of course, fun always was an important factor to include.
When he looked at her, the petite woman smiled and stroked his arm reassuringly before pulling away from him to walk a bit away. So many people had been working very hard to rejuvenate the garden... It was almost done, in fact. In the middle of the night, it was hard to see, but the grass was now perfect to sit on.
And so she did, smoothing her elegant kimono as she sunk down onto her knees and leaned over to pick up one of the many sakura petals that littered the ground, waiting in silence and pondering over that broken sakura branch. Now that she knew who had done it, she would have to find a way to punish that offender.

And it was that thought that reminded him why, exactly, he had agreed to partner up with Seishirou in the first place.
"Hello," he said shyly with a small nod, his gaze first settling upon the woman in the grass, curious as to who she was. Looked way too young and delicate to be, well, any adult's mother. Especially Seishirou's. And speaking of that man...
"And your reason for calling me out here in the middle of the night was...?" Kamui growled as he redirected his attention to the much, much taller male. He really had no reason to act like this, but damn it, he just couldn't help it. Seishirou and Fuuma both brought it out in him naturally, it seemed.

"You know the agreement, don't you?" he replied. Sometimes, the boy was quite daft. "I believe you owe me some information, Kamui-chan." At this point, he couldn't wait for his mother's approval. His hand slipped into his pocket and brought forth a cigarette pack and lighter. He could sense the tree's objections, but again, he wasn't in a mood to care. The demand for nicotine was of greater importance, anyway.

Seeing Seishirou light up a cigarette, Setsuka shook her head gently. Even as agitated as he was, she couldn't allow that. The Tree did not like it, and she was never pleased with the smell.
Holding the petal at the tips of two fingers, she pressed her red lips against it in a kiss before lightly blowing it away. It fluttered past Kamui's shoulder before settling on Seishirou's hand.
Completely unrelated to the topic at hand, Setsuka's ethereal voice murmured out, carried by the breeze just as the petal had been, "Do not make the tree and flowers weep, sweet Seishirou. I will be sad."

A moment of slight silence followed as Kamui watched the other, suddenly feeling a little jumpy. If Seishirou was going to attack, he had to be ready for it, but first... "And you shouldn't smoke, Sakurazuka. It's bad for you." As if the older man would care; not that Kamui really did, either.

"How... kind of you to show concern, Kamui-chan," he replied. With a silent command, the sakura about them swayed gently in the wind... an illusion, thin as strands of silk but growing in density, was weaving silently around them all. "But you must realise that you're too far in to turn back now. A deal is a deal." And yes, it was. Especially when it concerned something as important as this. The ground just inches behind Kamui began to break; what looked like roots were breaking through the turf, poised and ready to strike if needed.

He glanced upwards, looking urked and bored, totally oblivious to the roots behind him. "Yeah. Nice illusion, Sakurazuka." A hand found it's way to his hip. "Too bad it won't last long." With that, he started to gather power around his hand, fully intent on blowing up whatever or whoever was in his way of getting out.

Seishirou approached the other, who now was prostrate on the ground. "What a shame. I may just have to persuade you to stay." Smiling coldly, he nudged Kamui's chin up with the tip of his polished black shoe. He didn't appreciate anyone backing out of deals like this, and he would make sure Kamui knew this well.

"BASTARD," he growled, struggling, then closed his eyes and focused his power, trying to break out, but... it didn't work. That one show of power must have made Seishirou decide to reinforce this particular illusion; that had to be what was happening. "Damn it. You're planning to kill me now?" Oh, Subaru was going to be mad if the tree ate him.

His foot moved back to stand on the ground after giving a small kick to the other's chin. "Now, if I killed you, you would be useless to me, wouldn't you?" he asked. If Kamui were dead, certainly someone would notice. And that wouldn't be at all favourable. "No. You're going to remain alive..." The roots about his ankles loosened, but more sprouted forth and enveloped about Kamui's wrists. A smile curved Seishirou's mouth while Kamui was pulled up roughly, held in place tightly by the roots. "And you will do as I say."

Of course, Kamui wasn't planning to talk while living, either; even dispite the rough treatment he was receiving. Hey, he'd gotten worse from Fuuma. "Like hell I'm going to obey you, Sakurazuka." Those violet eyes flashed with anger as he once again tried to break free.

It made it very interesting.
"Seishirou..." she murmured finally, gracefully standing. Despite how white her kimono was, no dirt or grass stains clung to the fabric, despite her having been seated for long enough now. "You are being so rough. He is the opposite of how you were at his age... He reminds me of a fire."
Unfortunately, Setsuka didn't like fire. She liked snow.
The young woman stepped over and reached up to rest a hand against Kamui's cheek, caressing with surprising gentleness along his jaw as she smiled at him and whispered, "Must you upset Seishirou? It is you who has broken this deal you both made. You accuse my son of double-crossing you, but you are refusing to keep your end of the bargain."
Though she was no longer Sakurazukamori, her tie to the tree was unmistakable, and at her will, it forced Kamui lower to the ground, allowing her to be able to reach around and hug him, her lips brushing his ear as she continued to speak.
"Seishirou should not harm you. I will not allow him to go back on his word." With a soft giggle, she nuzzled his cheek. Ah, he was so young. Skinny, but his cheeks were awfully soft... "But Mother made no promise. Mother can punish bad children. Be a good boy, won't you?"

When he was right behind her, his arms snaked around her waist and pulled her closer to him in a backwards embrace. Her matronly affection could be so played upon, often enough to allow him to get away with certain things. That was one thing Seishirou liked about the arrangement. A smile curved his mouth, and he rested his chin at her shoulder, lips barely brushing her ear. "If the prey has given up control, there is no longer need for reinforcements." He stared at Kamui with a coldness only seen in the most ambitious, ruthless persons before he loosened his hold on Setsuka and led her away from Kamui. This was a matter pertaining to himself - Setsuka had been allowed to accompany, but anything aside from that wasn't anything Seishirou needed.
