Log;

Since their arrival in this messed-up city, Tatsumi had not woken up in bed without Morinaga curled up beside him once. The first few days had involved his assistant getting kicked out of bed along with plenty of death threats, but as they didn't seem to doing anything, Tatsumi had given up after a while. Besides, the pervert hadn't tried anything funny recently, so if sleeping in the same bed brought about that side-effect, he'd deal with it.

So this morning, the scientist was not expecting anything out of the ordinary. He woke up and found a single arm wrapped around his waist - perfectly normal. Tatsumi rubbed at his eyes and then reached for his glasses, slipping them on before turning to look at Mo-- OH GOOD GOD, WHY WHERE THERE A NAKED WOMAN IN HIS BED?!

Tatsumi scrabbled away from the sleeping figure and promptly fell off the bed. Shortly after the thud of hitting the ground, more scratching sounds could be heard as he moved even further away from the girl. Face a bright tomato red, he pressed himself against the wall, wondering what the hell had happened here. He knew that Morinaga had been next to him when he fell asleep, so where was he now?! Hell, why was this girl even in their room?!

Swallowing hard, the scientist slowly got up and walked over, carefully adjusting the sheets to cover the woman's - ahem - fleshier parts. Tatsumi cleared his throat quietly and turned his back around. What the hell was he supposed to do now?! And really! Where was Morinaga?!

Morinaga had been sleeping soundly, spooning up behind Tatsumi, just where he liked it. He had laid off the countless attempts for constant sex in the past few days and had been well rewarded, getting to sleep in Tatsumi's bed with him without getting beaten to a pulp afterwards. Sure, he really missed the sex. But he'd get some again, eventually. It was pretty worth it, this hugs and kisses agreement.

However, he was abruptly awoken when a cozy Tatsumi launched himself out of his arms and all the way off the bed. Muttering sleepily, he kept his eyes shut, sighing softly and wondering if Tatsumi was going to start yelling. But instead, he felt the covers being drawn back up over his chest and Tatsumi clearing his throat a few times.

Did he sound... embarrassed? Cracking an eye open, Morinaga studied the other man. "Eh? What's wrong, senpai?" he asked, wondering what in the hell that bright red blush was all about. He sat up in bed and felt the sheet catch on something as it slide down his...

...shockingly breast-filled chest. "GAH!?! WHAT THE HELL!?" Morinaga yelled, likewise throwing himself out of bed. He screamed again, a very high pitched and feminine squeal, really, as he looked down at himself. One hand moved to his crotch and felt... nothing. NOTHING. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my GOD! SENPAI. I'M A WOMAN!" he flailed, running his hand through his soft hair as he panicked.

"OF COURSE YOU'RE A WOMAN, YOU... YOU WOMAN!!" Tatsumi shouted, back still to whoever the stranger was. He crossed his arms defensively across his chest and made it a point to stare at the floor very, very, very intently. This was just awful. Absolutely awful.

"What have you done with Morinaga? And why are you calling me senpai?! I don't even know you!!" Tatsumi bit down on his lower lip and continued to blush. "P--put some clothes on dammit!! It's inappropriate for you to be walking around like that, a--and... AND WHAT WERE YOU DOING SLEEPING IN MY BED, HUH?!

"FOR THAT MATTER, HOW DID YOU GET IN? WHO ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" he shouted, as if he shouted enough that his embarrassment would go away. Tatsumi sat down on the floor at that point, holding his head in his hands. Why did this city have to be so fucked up?! First the ticking got louder, then the colors disappeared, and then the entire place went silent. Now random women were appearing in his bed!!!

Tatsumi did not believe in prostitution. Tatsumi was not drunk last night. Tatsumi... had no idea what was going on. Why, he was so confused that he didn't even notice that he had no urge to turn around and get a peek at the naked woman.

"S-senpai! What're you talking about?! I AM MORINAGA!" he wailed, yanking the sheet off the bed and wrapping himself up in it as quickly as possible. Tatsumi looked really upset and embarrassed and angry. "Look at me, for god's sake! It's me!" he pleaded, walking over as best he could while wrapped in the sheet, trying to make eye contact with the other man.

"I was sleeping in your bed like I have been for the past few nights! Because you let me!" he continued, shaking his head. "I just woke up like this! How, HOW did this HAPPEN?!" Morinaga was starting to get a little wibbly. This wasn't fair. How come Tatsumi didn't get boobs and lose his... thing? Sighing loudly in frustration, he (or she, whatever he was) sat down on the bed, still clutching the sheet to his chest.

"It's gotta be this place! First the ticking, and then the black and white thing, and the sound going away! Now it's turning men into women!" he moaned, squeezing his eyes shut and cursing under his breath. What a lame way to wake up. He had wanted some cuddling or a quiet breakfast with Tatsumi, not a new pair of boobs and a surprise change of gender!

That... That woman was Morinaga?

Tatsumi slowly turned around and just stared. He knew full well that it was rather improper of him, but he couldn't help himself! Morinaga was a female! If the exterior had been anything to go by, then that probably meant that... The scientist inched away slightly at the thought of a pregnant Morinaga; the thought was simply too hard on his brain.

"I'm not sure I believe you," he said, lips pressed into a thin line. Tatsumi studied the woman's face for a moment, and while he had to admit that he did see an element of his assistant in those big, watery eyes, he still needed to make sure. "A quick question to make sure that you're not trying to take his place." He paused, trying to think of a good question to ask; it had to be something only the two of them would know here. Tatsumi's eye twitched. "That time I struck the weekly deal with you. How long did you do it beforehand to convince me?"

The blush stretched across his cheeks renewed itself at the thought, and Tatsumi sat down next to Morinaga stiffly. He glanced over at him out of the corner of his eye. If this really was Morinaga, his scientist self really couldn't help but wonder how the heck this worked. Admittedly, he didn't want to think about people back at home switching genders in a blink of an eye, but the scientific possibilities were intriguing!

No, no, no... This was not the time to be thinking about that. They had to solve the mystery of... the Morinaga woman first. It was just too weird having the other be female; hopefully, this was just another one of those temporary things that would go on for a single day. The only good thing that would come out of this? Maybe with his new... parts, Morinaga would have less sex drive. Just maybe.

Morinaga did not like seeing Tatsumi scoot away from him like he had some sort of disease. True, he was a woman, but sheesh! So was 51% of the population! It was no reason to look so disgusted.

Oh god, were those his womanly hormones speaking up? What the hell. Morinaga sighed again, a bit sulkily this time. So not fair. He was stuck in a woman's body with boobs and girl parts. He didn't even like girls, so he had no desire to even feel himself up. What a crappy deal. He sniffed again, and then looked back up at Tatsumi in surprise.

"The weekly deal? How long did I do what before hand to convince you? The part where I had to wait two months before you would have sex with me again?" he blinked, big doe brown eyes looking inquisitively back up at his lover, who was still looking rather uncomfortable.

To his relief, however, the other finally sat down next to him, albeit stiffly, and was now watching him from the corner of his eye. That actually made Morinaga smile. He wondered if the scientist was at all curious as to just what exactly was under that sheet he had so tightly wrapped around himself. "Senpai?" he murmured, leaning in closer. "Did you see me naked before I woke up?" he teased lightly. No way would Tatsumi dare punch a woman. Morinaga could tell that at least. Maybe this would work out to his advantage after all.

As long as he got his male body back at some point.

Those hormones seemed to be kicking already. Tatsumi sincerely hoped that Morinaga wasn't going to go through a cycle while he was in that state. He had been around enough females to know that PMS was something... very scary. However, it seemed that he was safe for now, so he reached over and gingerly pat the other on the shoulder.

"Not quite the answer I was looking for, but that's close enough," he muttered, a positively annoyed expression on his face. Once Morinaga turned his eyes - god, they would've been perfect for a shoujo manga! - on him, the scientist could only look away. They were like puppy eyes, but worse! He was not going to fall for these womanly wiles! No no no no no!

And then Tatsumi froze.

Morinaga was leaning over and whispering in his ear using that damn seductress voice! Damn that assistant of his! It wasn't' fair that a minutes after finding that his gender had been changed that he already knew how to use that weapon! Tatsumi leaned away from the other slightly.

"I..." He paused. "I got an eyeful when I turned to look at you after I put my glasses on." Tatsumi frowned and glared at Morinaga. His cheeks flushed as he realized the other's game. His hand balled into a fist, but he held it by his side. No way he was going to punch a woman, even if it was that goddamn Morinaga. Tatsumi grit his teeth and turned death glare # 73 on his assistant. "DON'T YOU DARE TRY ANYTHING ON ME, MORINAGA."

Tatsumi was actually comforting him. Wow, this woman thing was powerful. So were those apparent hormones, if they were already wearing down a guy like senpai.

Morinaga grinned. The puppy eyes worked well too. This could actually be a lot of fun. His voice was a few octaves higher than usual, and more sultry and feminine. It did sound seductive, especially when he spoke softly and directly into Tatsumi's ear. "Oh?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. "And am I pretty?" he laughed softly, though it actually sounded more like a lady like giggle. Which was admittedly very weird.

Still, seeing Tatsumi's reaction to it all was well worth it. The death glare he got was patented and usual, but the punch he expected never came. He was right. Tatsumi was not going to be hitting any women.

While he admittedly was a little too creeped out by the idea of having sex in this female body, it surely did not mean that he couldn't have a little fun in it. Grinning slyly, he slung one leg over Tatsumi's lap and straddled him, sheet still covering his chest, but tanned, slim legs exposed on either side of the man's legs. "Senpaiiii? Hold me?" he murmured, running the tip of one finger down the line of Tatsumi's jaw.

Gay man or not, Morinaga knew what he was doing.

Tatsumi nearly screamed when Morinaga went to straddle his lap. A most furious blush appeared on his face then, and he gulped. This just wasn't right! It wasn't! Morinaga the woman should not be trying to seduce him! Biologically speaking, women were supposed to have less sex drive than men, so what the hell was up with this situation?! WHY WAS MORINAGA DOING THIS?

Oh, that's right. It was Morinaga. Perverted homo. Woman. Person. Thing. Yeah.

The scientist decided that he wasn't going to put up with this and squeezed his eyes shut before placing his hands on Morinaga's shoulders. He pushed her away slowly and gently to make sure that she didn't end up as a bruised heap on the ground. "Please don't do this Morinaga," he mumbled. "I don't want you to do anything like this. Think of all the possible results of you having sex with me like that.

"And besides, it wouldn't feel right."

Tatsumi froze and opened his eyes. It wouldn't feel right. What the hell did he mean by THAT? A woman and a man together was supposed to feel right! That was normal! Tatsumi pushed Morinaga off his lap then and hurried off to the bathroom, one hand covering his mouth. This was not possible. There was no way in hell that he thought that normal, heterosexual sex felt weird in comparison to the homosexual sex that he'd been participating in with Morinaga.

There was no fucking way. This just had to be a special case with Morinaga, right? RIGHT?!

Wow, Tatsumi was turning redder than Morinaga had ever seen him get. In any other situation, it might have been extremely hilarious. However, at the same time, the man literally between his legs also looked more than a little terrified at his lover-turned-woman seated in his lap, and Morinaga was starting to feel a little sorry for him.

The feeling increased when the other man gently rested his hands on his shoulders and pushed him off his lap. Morinaga easily caught himself before he could fall and stood up, simply staring wide-eyed at his senpai, sheet still clutched to his full chest. "Senpai, I wasn't actually going to try and get you into bed this time," he admitted in a soft, reassuring voice, tilting his head to the side worriedly.

But then the other's last words hit him full on, and he blinked. "It wouldn't feel right?" he repeated slowly, letting them sink in. Tatsumi was saying this? As in, sex with a man and a woman wouldn't feel right?! This was the man who called him a fucking homo all the time, and hated gay people. Morinaga couldn't believe it, and neither could Tatsumi, it seemed, as the other rushed off to the bathroom.

"Senpai, wait! I'm sorry!" he called after him, following the other into the bathroom. He looked rather horror stricken, which worried Morinaga a bit. "Are you okay, senpai?" he asked kindly.

Hands resting on the bathroom counter, Tatsumi simply stared at the sink for a second, one hand wrapped around his stomach as if he felt sick. He dry heaved for a moment before finally straightening, looking just a bit green in the face. He gave Morinaga a dirty look before stalking out of the bathroom to lie down on the couch. A hand went to cover his eyes, and he groaned softly.

"Morinaga, go put on some proper clothes, will you?" he mumbled without actually looking at the other. Tatsumi couldn't believe it. He had really said that, and it seemed to be that his subconscious had finally got the message past his heavy defenses that were always in place in his consciousness. If only he hadn't been so shocked by what had happened with Morinaga, he never would have come to the conclusion he was sitting at right now.

So. Maybe he wasn't as straight as he thought he was. Was he going to end up like his little brother? What was his little brother going to say for that matter? How many times had he gotten angry at him for being gay? How many times had he sworn that he was going to fly to America to destroy the government that let his little brother get married?!

Tatsumi rolled onto his side, eyes now facing the back of the couch. He punched the seat cushion before uttering a long string of curses. This was... a very bad day. Morinaga was female, and Tatsumi was... was... g-- not quite straight.

He grit his teeth and went back to punching the couch, waiting for Morinaga to return in something decent.

Morinaga really was worried now, listening to the other man dry heaving into the sink. Holy crap, he didn't think his teasing would have that much of an effect on Tatsumi and he worriedly ran back into the bedroom and threw on some clothes they had bought a few days before. They were obviously men's clothes, and were too loose on his wide hips. The t-shirt he put on was a little too tight, and uncomfortable with his rather ample breasts, but it would have to do for now.

Hurrying back into the sitting room where Tatsumi was now punching the couch, Morinaga halted for a moment, and then continued forward, sitting down next to him gingerly and crossing his arms over his chest in slight embarrassment. One hand moved to rest on Tatsumi's shoulder. "Senpai, I'm sorry," he murmured softly, chewing on his bottom lip. He wasn't sure if it was that admission back in the bedroom that had freaked Tatsumi out, or if it was the fact that Morinaga was now a woman.

It was probably both.

"It's... it's okay, Senpai. I'm sure this is just temporary," he added, glancing down at himself. "It better be temporary," he said in a softer, yet more vehement tone, gritting his teeth. He missed his manly body! And his man parts! And the things he got to do with his man parts. They had better come back soon, or he was going to be very disgruntled.

Tatsumi rolled up into a sitting position and shot Morinaga a look. His lips were pressed into a thin line, and his face seemed a bit strained and paler than usual. Fingers clawing at the fabric of the couch, he sighed and then moved to hold his head in his hands. He had never thought he'd be one one of them, what with how vehement he was about his dislike of gays.

How fucking ironic.

"Morinaga," he started, more or less ignoring what the other had said previously. "How did you find out that you weren't... straight?" Tatsumi lowered his hands and stared at the ground for a moment before letting his eyes slowly turn his assistant's direction. He simply looked at the now feminine body that Morinaga had, and it hit him then. He felt absolutely nothing looking at it.

Normal males probably would've pounced on Morinaga by this point. He did seem to make a fine female, but... nothing. He lowered his eyes once more. Had he been in denial all this time? If that was the case, how long had he been like this? Had he always been like this? Would he ever have found out if this weird city hadn't swallowed him up and turned Morinaga into a girl?

His lips curled into a scowl, but he said nothing and did nothing. Punching his assistant was out in this state, and the couch just didn't have that nice crunch when bone hit bone.

"Eh?" Morinaga blinked, mouth open for a few moments before snapping it shut. So that's what this was all about. Once Tatsumi had sat up and made more room, Morinaga scooted back against the couch and curled his legs up beneath him. "I just knew. In middle school, with Masaki-san. You remember him, right?" he raised his eyebrows, knowing the other man would remember the conversation and incident, but asking anyways.

"I had never really been attracted to any girls, but it was different with him," he explained with a shrug. "That's about it. I just knew," he repeated, aimlessly toying with the hem of his t-shirt, watching Tatsumi out of the corner of his eye. The scientist seemed to be deeply disturbed. He had dry heaved, for god's sake. Was he really that disgusting? He knew it might be surprising to really realize that one was gay, but still. He couldn't help but feel a little hurt by the others reaction.

"It's really… it's really not that bad, you know," he commented in a softer tone, turning to look at the other fully. "It hasn't been that bad with me anyway, has it? I mean, besides the sex that you so obviously hate, I'm not that horrible to be around," he shrugged, looking away again. Damn these stupid female hormones. He was feeling a little vulnerable now and it was annoying.

That was it, huh? Morinaga had just known. There wasn't any period of confusion? disgust? nothing? It had just happened like that? Well, that would've been fine and dandy for Tatsumi, but unfortunately, he'd spent most of his life growing up thinking that he'd hate himself forever and ever if he ever turned into one of those queers.

He laughed dryly, face turned away from Morinaga once more to avoid that damn watery gaze. He gently knocked the inside of his wrist against his forehead, as if by doing so he'd come up with some ingenious explanation for why all of this was happening. Of course, nothing came up.

Tatsumi had never fallen for any other guy, nor had he thought any particularly attractive. Needless to say, the only guy he'd slept with was Morinaga, and that was really only out of his assistant's persistence. Surely, he wasn't... gay.

He thought about it for a moment longer.

Well, it didn't seem like all that many women popped up in his mind either. Tatsumi had always been too infatuated with his work to really develop his social circles, and as such, it had left him with very few friends and even fewer people he could even think of as potential dates. Tatsumi Souichi might as well have been considered an asexual workaholic for his near complete lack of outings and social life.

Tatsumi sighed and finally turned to look at Morinaga again. Brow creased, he studied the other for a moment, noting all the changes that had occurred in that oddly familiar face. For a moment, the scientist wondered and on that curiosity, he took action.

A hand went to capture Morinaga's chin, and Tatsumi leaned forward. For once, he'd take the initiative, but only this once. His lips met with the other's in a chaste kiss, and they stayed there for a moment before pulling away.

"Shit. It's not the same."

Morinaga wasn't exactly sure what to say, or do in this situation. True, it had been easy for him to realize that he was gay. Well, not easy, per se. His parents, brother and hometown weren't exactly very fond of the idea, to say the least. But he didn't go through the emotional turmoil that Tatsumi seemed to be experiencing. He supposed it was understandable, however, for someone so homophobic to be distressed over suddenly finding himself gay.

Fidgeting a little anxiously, Morinaga blinked in surprise when the other man turned towards him and began studying his face. There was no affection in his gaze, but an almost professional analysis of sorts, a curiosity. The last thing he was expecting was a kiss.

Tensing up in surprise, he barely had time to reciprocate, and even if he had had time, Morinaga was far too shocked by the incident. Tatsumi had never done that, and even if it didn't mean anything to him, it meant something to Morinaga. A light blush appeared on his cheeks, and he simply blinked at the other, swallowing hard as he pulled away. It had been chaste, but it was still a kiss, one initiated by the man he was in love with.

"Not the same as kissing me when I'm a man?" he repeated, adding on the bit at the end. He tilted his head to the side and leaned forward a bit in curiosity. "Does that mean you like kissing me normally?" he asked, unable to help himself, a smile lighting up his face. That would have been so much more than he ever could have hoped for. Granted, it was pretty much a given that Tatsumi definitely minded the kissing much less than the sex, but still.

At Morinaga's comment and smile, Tatsumi's temper snapped back into place. A fierce blush appeared on his face, and he made it a point to turn away. The scientist crossed his arms across his chest and sulked for a moment, lips curled into a scowl. "Of course it's different, you jerk," he muttered. "Your lips aren't the same, and not that I held you or anything, but your... your chest would be in the way."

For now, he would avoid that second question.

So now that that was done, the scientist could safely come to the conclusion that he didn't like kissing Morinaga as a woman. He couldn't really say what he felt about kissing other women or... or... other men. He nearly shivered at the thought but caught himself in time. For one thing, Tatsumi was not going to find some random woman and some equally random man and give them a kiss to determine whether he was gay, bi, or straight. That was absolutely out of the question.

If he was going to be gay, fine. However, he was only going to be gay for that damn Morinaga. Why? Because it was all his fault to begin with. Yes, that was exactly why.

With a soft huff, Tatsumi got off the couch and stomped over to the kitchen. He was going to try and distract himself from all of these messed up thoughts by making food. That's right, he was going to make breakfast for the two of them and just try and forget that Morinaga was a woman and that he was gay. Maybe if he was in the kitchen long enough, things would return to normal. Just maybe.

If things had been normal, and if Morinaga hadn't been a woman, he was positive he would have been punched, or at least kicked off the couch for that remark, judging by the look on Tatsumi's face before he turned away. The other man was ignoring his question, he noticed, but for once, he decided not to press the issue. For now, anyway.

Wishing he could read minds, Morinaga simply watched Tatsumi for a few moments before the other got up and stalked into the kitchen. He was such a grump, but an attractive one, and Morinaga had to smile as he observed him from the couch.

What he really wanted, was to go into the kitchen and kiss everything better, but besides the fact that Tatsumi seemed to be a little bit repulsed by kissing his female self at the moment, kissing never made the other man feel better. In fact, it usually made things worse, although for Morinaga, it did often lead to some rather steamy sex.

Ew. Sex in this body. The thought really was creepy. He liked women! He really did, but only as friends. He didn't really care to deal with the rest of it. He had realized he was gay since middle school, after all.

Finally standing, he walked into the kitchen and leaned against the wall, folding his arms over his chest again, slightly annoyed by the two rather obvious obstacles in his way. "Need any help?" he asked curiously, genuinely trying to be helpful.

Chop chop chop chop thunk.

The cutting knife landed on the cutting board with an especially heavy blow. The metal had sunk into the wood just a bit, and Tatsumi had to yank it out before holding it aloft. He turned to face Morinaga, and he put on a rather twisted smile. "I... I think I'm just fine doing this by myself, thanks," he said through grit teeth. "Is there anything that you wanted to eat?

"I'd be more than happy to make it for you." Tatsumi turned back to the carrot he was chopping into tiny pieces and went at it with renewed fury. The carrot must die! Die die die!!! If he couldn't punch Morinaga for all of his pent up emotions, then he'd just have to deal with it some other way.

Tatsumi remained silent until all of the vegetables had been chopped up and tossed into the pot he had sitting on the stove. If all went well, the two of them would have a nice soup for brunch; if not, they'd still eat it, even if he had to force it down his assistant's throat. This food was not going to waste because he had put all of his frustrations into it. Screw love when you had enough anger to go around several times.

With the soup cooking, Tatsumi turned back to Morinaga, waving vaguely at his figure. "Nothing weird has happened yet, I hope?" he asked, voice a low mutter. It was supposed to have been a question to express some sort of concern, but it just didn't sound like it. "Doing... well enough in that body?"

It was starting to get weird, not getting perpetually socked in the jaw or kicked in the head all the time, even though Morinaga couldn't help but flinch when Tatsumi connected that knife with the cutting board rather hard. That twisted smile coupled with that almost white knucked grip on that knife was a bit intimidating to say the least, and Morinaga had to stop himself from backing away slowly.

"Uh... whatever you're having is fine with me," Morinaga raised his rather feminine looking hands innocently and smiled nervously, watching warily as Tatsumi tried to viciously murder that carrot on the cutting board. That would have been him, had he not gained a pair of breasts and lost his family jewels. A scary thought.

Morinaga kept quiet as well, not wanting to disturb the other while he was in such a mood and also weilding a sharp knife. Just because he wouldn't punch Morinaga in his womanly state didn't mean that he couldn't chuck that knife at his head or something equally as gruesome. He wasn't actually that hungry. The entire morning's events had been him more than a little anxious and he had mostly lost his appetite, but he had a feeling that if he refused to eat, he was going to end up wearing the soup.

However, he was completely taken aback by Tatsumi's question. He blinked again, shocked and frozen, until he snapped out of it and nodded. "Yes, I'm fine. Nothing weird. Besides the whole having a rack thing," he cringed, raising his hands to delicately touch the two soft lumps that now rested on his chest. So bizarre. "Worried about me?" he had to add, another silly smile on his face.

That was such a weird image, Tatsumi thought. Morinaga was poking at his boobs like they were some alien species that had just latched onto his body one day. Admittedly, that might as well have been the case, but it just looked so weird. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that Morinaga was actually gay and wouldn't go around fondling himself.

Thankfully.

"I am merely asking because of all the potential biological problems that could arise from this should your return to a male identity not work out," he muttered, a faint blush appearing on his cheeks. Tatsumi huffed softly and went to the fridge, throwing the door open. He looked inside and after a moment of searching, he was unfortunately reminded of the lack of alcohol in his life at the moment. He gently shut the door and leaned against it, eyes on the floor.

"I worry about you from time to time." His voice was soft and barely audible. Memories of that time Morinaga - that damn Morinaga - disappeared for two weeks without a single word came flooding back. His eyes narrowed at the thought, and he ran through all of his memories up until this morning. As he moved along, Tatsumi had to admit that he found himself spotting various points in which it seemed to be that he felt something toward that assistant of his. He ground his teeth, and his figure tensed marginally.

So it had been there all along, it seemed. But really. What exactly did one call that thing he felt toward Morinaga? The scientist recalled that spell of "jealousy" when the other had mentioned his first partner, but that... that didn't mean he thought of Morinaga affectionately, right?

The growing blush on his cheeks would've given him an answer should he had a mirror at that point.

"Biological... oh god," Morinaga paled as what Tatsumi was referring to finally sunk in. Girl stuff? Him? No, no, and no! He couldn't deal with that! He didn't have any sisters, never dated any girls, and had absolutely NO experience with that. At all! And he didn't want any! Ever! Especially if he was the one who would have to go through it.

Feeling a little dizzy, he griped the doorframe tightly for support, shaking his head lightly. "Hopefully... hopefully this won't last that long," he replied, swallowing hard and almost missing the very quiet admission from Tatsumi. His eyes raised to look at him, wide and watery again as the full effect of his words hit him. He actually did worry about him sometimes? That made Morinaga's heart skip a beat or two and his lips tilted up into an almost shy smile. He was feeling better already, the threat of ominious girl problems leaving his mind almost completely.

And then he couldn't help himself. It was weird for him, and he knew it was even weirder for Tatsumi, but he wanted a hug, dammit, and he was going to get one. Crossing the distance between them quickly, Morinaga wrapped his arms around Tatsumi in a warm and grateful hug, resting his chin on his shoulder gently. There was no ulterior motive behind the action. Just pure gratitude and warmth and yes, even love.

"Thank you, senpai," he murmured, resisting the urge to kiss the other man's neck, lest he freak him out anymore. He backed away quickly out of the hug, smiling affectionately at Tatsumi before he moved to set the table for them both. Senpai cared about him. He really did. He wasn't good at showing it, but just like he had guessed, the other man had developed feelings for him. He probably wasn't completely aware of it yet, but he was blushing again, and Morinaga knew. That was good enough for him, for now. In time, maybe Tatsumi would figure it out too.

Boobs. The boobs felt weird. Very, very, very weird. It wasn't like he hadn't ever been hugged by females before, but most of them tended to not be this... gifted.

The second that Tatsumi thought he couldn't handle the physical contact any more, Morinaga let go, and the scientist heaved a quiet sigh of relief. His assistant, thankfully, didn't seem to catch it and smiled lovingly at him before moving (Tatsumi was vaguely tempted to call it skipping) off to set up the table. He followed the other's movements for a while before turning back to the soup.

Picking up a ladle, he put it in and stirred it for a moment before pulling it out. Tatsumi lifted it to his lips, taking a sip, and nodded his head; it seemed ready to eat. He turned off the stove and pulled out two bowls and spoons for the both of them, quickly spooning out what he deemed appropriate portions. Carrying them over to the table, he took his regular seat. There was a chance that he should've helped the "lady" sit down, but well, it was Morinaga. He could handle himself, female or not.

Without glancing at the other, he turned to his food. However, before the spoon reached his lips, he paused to mutter something. "You better return to normal soon, Morinaga. Otherwise, I may end up hitting you, woman form or not." His eyes narrowed. "And then you'll have blackmail material for when you do return to your normal self, and we all know what happens then."

Tatsumi huffed and started eating.
