Summary; The light shows in the Square were provided by your Deities along with the booths and eats. The large and growing pyrotechnic display? Not so much.
Log;

[Colorful festival lights sure do illuminate up this long, dark night. They shine brighter in the Square making it the epicenter of the Chinese Lantern Festival. With the later hours booths have appeared. Vendors have their light wares on display. A delicious meal is only feet away at another booth. The tents glow with the carnival and electrical games. Except with every gust of wind that shakes the canopies of the booths and spreads the smell of food.... sand slips on in.

When the LEDs meet the tiny, pesky grains sparks ignite. And there can never be just a little sand. The large, impressive halogen light dragon, near the Carousel across from the Fountain starts to spark! Fire is also a bright and impressive light. And what starts out as a small flicker starts to swallow up the festival! It grows to be as large as an Olympic pool, small in the Square but a hazard!

The Deities didn't start the fire but they intend to put it out. Mouse with every squeak and shrill lament is frying circuits and trying to salvage what decorations she can. The ever practical Laszlo takes to the extinguishers leaving Lina to stamp and shout flames into submission. Sabine bids the dirt to rise up and smother the fire. The fire is well and truly fought in a half an hour time by the efforts of the City Fire Department, the Deities and any who wish to join the cause!

What's a little fire though really? The show will go on!]

[ooc; Feel free to log festival enjoyment or fire fighting!]
