Log: Ongoing
When: Jan. 3rd
Rating: PG-13?
Characters: Elena [
lady_turk], Jr./Rubedo [
red_dragon_666], & Guy Cecil [
shakunage]
Summary: Elena's been drunk for the last few days and has finally attracted some attention. I am not to be held responsible for what she does with two cute guys worried about her.
Log:
“Mr. Bottle~ Mr. Bottle~ Mr. Bottle keeps me company and makes me feel all warm and happy inside and makes all my worries go away on the breeze~”
There were only two times when Elena sang, or attempted the activity that resembled singing. The first time was when she was in the shower or taking a long soak. Then it was just humming whatever melody came into her head and wasn’t supposed to make any kind of sense. The only other time when she sang was when she was out of her mind drunk. Since that last state took a great deal amount of alcohol, Elena wasn’t found singing drunken revelry songs very often. The times that she had ingested enough alcohol though… Least she could hold a tone. A mangled and horribly mutilated note, but a note nonetheless.
Elena giggled to herself as she took another heavy gulp of her drink. What it was didn’t matter. The blonde had long since stopped keeping track.

"Let's see... Building 12, apartment number 997 was it?" Guy mumbled raising his hand to his face as he recalled the information that he had to rather painfully extract from young woman. “994…995…Ah, here it is. 997.” Bringing his gloved knuckles to the door, he gave a light rap on the door.

Besides, what could possibly have had Elena so upset as to go on a drinking binge in isolation for a few days? The place had nearly come to an end, but...it hadn't. So what was there to continue to make her upset.
He was just stepping off the elevator when he spotted someone else at her door. At first, suspicion flooded over his concern, but as he drew nearer he could recognize who it was. "Guy? Oh Hell, don't bother with that. I doubt she could even hear a knock right now."
Shaking his head, Rubedo slipped in front of him and tried the knob. When it opened without any resistance, the red head slipped inside and glanced around. "Elena? Guy's here, too...! You better not be drinking anymore!"
He paused when he heard something that sounded...a lot like a scratched record. Was...she singing?

Spinning around and giggling to herself as she bumped into a chair, and tripped over it, Elena looked towards the doorway where she could swear she had heard the door open. Looks like she had been right. Waving cheerfully, Elena looked at Jr. and Guy, blood rushing to her head from her upside-down position.
"Hello people!"
no subject
Which was obviously confirmed when his eyes met the usual calm and coherent young woman who was now reduced to nothing but a giggling, upside-down singing drunkard. Didn't she once say that this was one of her comrade's jobs? Sans the singing part, he wasn't so sure that he'd be the singing type. But then again, he never expected Elena to be... well, like this. "Uh... hello Elena." Guy started sounding a bit wary eyeing a few of the bottles scattered about "Having fun there?" And judging from how harshly Jr. spoke to the blonde in combination with the bottles, Guy started to piece together just how much and how long she must have been drinking.

"Ugh. Elena, get your sorry ass off of the floor... Guy, help me out here?" Quickly, he knelt down at her side, grabbing an arm to pull her up before slinging it around his shoulders.
"Apparently she's been drinking heavily since New Years. We'll need to sober her up quick and get the reason why out of her. There isn't really any nano technology here to actually help break up the alcohol in her system... But a cold shower sure ought to help."

Holding her head and walking a few steps away from Jr. and Guy, the blonde sighed and hugged the bottle that had somehow managed not to completely empty itself out when she had tripped. "I'm fine. I'm fines. Mako takes care of things soon enough. Just wanted to have some good cheer for a times."
no subject
"How do you think we should approach it though?" Guy turned his attention to the shorter redhead. He figured that it was probably best to ignore anything that Elena insisted of, especially if it involved something on the lines of 'I'm fines'. "Just drag her to the bathroom or should we be gentle and carry her?" his tone carrying a bit of mischief within it.
no subject
"You're fines, huh? Whatever. I came prepared." Just because he had hoped she would cooperate, didn't mean he had assumed she would. Rubedo was quick to pull out a ribbon from his pocket and move up behind Elena while she was still turned away.
It belonged to one of Sakura's dresses, but it had been the sturdiest he could find. Hopefully Elena wouldn't completely wreck it during this process.
Grabbing one of Elena's wrists, he yanked it behind her, then pulled the arm Guy had been holding in the same fashion. He was sure to move quickly in case she struggled, winding the ribbon over and around, twisting and making sure it was snug without cutting off her circulation. "Brings back sweet, sweet memories, doesn't it Elena?" he joked.
Although her skin already seemed a bit cold to the touch...he assumed that was from the alcohol. How had it not killed her already? "I think maybe you should carry her." Rubedo tied off the knot. "She won't knock your face off now, at least."
no subject
"You're an evil and cruel little man Jr." Elena stated, glaring and struggling with the knots. At the best of times, she could untied herself with a few issues. Right now though... It might as well have been called impossible.
Determined to at least be difficult now that her fun had been ruined, Elena immediately plopped down where she was and let out a huff. "I won't be taken without a fight!"

Guy knelt down a bit and gave Elena one of his smiles. "I'm sorry for any discomfort that you may suffer, Elena, but it's for your own good." And with a quick swooping action, threw her over his shoulder as if she was a sack of grain or something similar to it. Returning to his feet, Guy tried hard not to focus on the fact that Elena was a woman and allowing his fear to take him over.
"So where's this shower?"
no subject
However, seeing Elena thrown over Guy's shoulder sure did look amusing. He would have laughed had he not been honestly worried for her health. "The alcohol content's lowered her body temperature too much, I think. Hot water might be better than cold water. Her shower's this way..."
Rubedo walked ahead of Guy, opening up the bathroom door to move over to the shower. After pulling the curtain aside, he turned the faucets, adjusting and constantly testing the water before shaking his hand dry and deciding it was hot enough.
"All right, Elena..." He glanced sternly over his shoulder. "Clothes on or clothes off? You can cooperate and keep your clothes from getting drenched, or you can continue to fight and ruin your suit."

The alcohol she had drunk was starting to wear off slightly and cause the blonde to become slightly more distracted. Only this time, it was due to fatigue rather than drunkenness. Before, she would have just drunk more until she was back in drunken bliss. Now though, she was being forced to pay attention to stay awake.
"I think I'll fight!" she chriped happily. "Do your worst villains! You'll never take me coherent!"

Following Jr. obediently he entered the bathroom with Elena seemingly quite in a chipper mood. "It's hopeless Jr. Besides, I'm sure she'll thank us later for this." he answered with a sigh. With some caution, he placed the young woman into the basin of the tub not to create a large splash that would get himself wet. Good thing it was warm water. Elena did seem a bit paler than he remembered her.
Guy stood before Elena, making sure she didn't attempt to make a run for it in a final act of defiance. "Villians? Now that's a bit harsh. I'd say we're more like your knights come to save you."
no subject
Leaning back, Rubedo sat on the edge of the tub, also keeping an eye on Elena should she try to jump out, while also keeping an eye on the water filling the tub.
"This at least oughtta warm you up... Now, mind telling us why you felt like becoming best buds with Mr. Bottle? Is New Years normally a depressing time for you or something? You should have asked one of us to come over..."

She knew she was going to be a wet mess later, but only a tiny part of her brain actually registered that. The rest was just trying not to give in to the alcohol-soaked thought process that had no control over her mouth. Least she had more control than giving in to such train of thoughts like that.
"I told Mr. Bottle that he should have left after the first day, but he had so many convincing arguments that I couldn't help but let him stay a while longer."
That should answer Jr.'s questions for now. And if that wasn't enough...
"I'm not feeling so good."
