Summary; The Council Meeting

Log;

V added the last bit of tape to the small sign propped up at the edge ofthe train platform, gathered his tools, and set off across the tracks and down the service tunnel.

He had initially intended on escorting people as they arrived, but soon realized that was an impractical notion, and had decided to add small arrows pointing the way.

Nothing more then arrows, however, since it stood to reason that anyone actually crossing the tracks would be attending the council....however there was no reason to invite more people to his home then necessary this evening.

He made his way back down the dimly lit side tunnel, and unlocked the camoflouged door.

V's intent was to leave the door open for the duration of the meeting, that way once closed it would blend seemlessly into it's surroundings once agian & leave Evey & himself a small measure of safety.

Within the meeting area, he set about adding extra cups and glasses to the countertop, then sat to consult his notes, and the agenda.

Evey was still tidying up a bit, and he sighed in relief at the quieting of the metronome once in her relative presense.

((ooc: Evey is in her room until such time that her mun can get online....Man I hope this works @_@;;;;))

As Walter came down the silent spiral stairs to the underground station, he noticed the red arrows stuck to the wall. He smiled, enjoying the mark of good organisational skills (since he had apparently been assigned as secretary, he himself was carrying a folder full of notepads for minute taking and spare copies of the agenda). Moving like a cat through the shadows of the station, he came at last to an open door, which he recognised as the cunningly camouflaged entrance to V's abode, from exiting it when he was trapped in V's body.

He knocked on the open door, cautiously, wondering if her Ladyship and Alucard had already arrived...

"Hello? It's Walter.."

Why Evey had felt the need to set her room in order when she was just going to shut the door the moment she left it, she wasn't sure. Perhaps the stress of trying to get at least a dozen people organized into a coherent meeting was just enough to push her into properly making her bed for once.

The knock at the door was enough to keep her from attempting to do any more tidying. She closed her bedroom door firmly and went to see who had shown up.

"Hello, Walter--you're the first one here," she said, smiling, and motioned for him to follow her over to V. "How have you been?"

Walter shrugged. "Not too bad, all things considered. Underwear theft aside, of course." He chuckled. "First, am I? Jolly good. Anything I can do to help set things up?" He put his folder down on the table and followed her.

Walter nodded, grimly and flexed his fingers. "I came prepared to restrain you, or other people, if absolutely necessary. I sincerely hope that isn't so."

He sat down on one of the chairs and leaned back, to wait for the next arrivals.

Athrun stepped out of the train station, a hand raised to shield his eyes from the sudden onslaught of sunshine. Strange, no one was waiting at the spot V had designed as a meeting place, not even V himself. Once his hands adjusted to the light, the young Coordinator glanced about, frowning. Perhaps it had moved without his- an arrow?

Eyes following the point of the arrow, he turned to see an entire row of them neatly lined up on the wall, clearly stuck on to direct. It could be a trap or a prank of some sort, seeing as how the entire City was aware of this meeting. Nevertheless, there was no other sign as to where the council could be. Feeling the hidden knife clink in a familiar way against the back of his heel, Athrun took the offered direction cautiously.

At the end of the arrows was nothing but a wall of moss and vine. Athrun stepped forward to examine the wall, patting and pulling at the weeds. He paused when he came to a particular section where a singular line parted the moss, before cutting down at a right angle on both sides.

Almost as though there was a door cleverly hidden behind.

The pilot rapped his knuckles against the wall in a polite knock then stepped back, muscles tensing up to prepare for any form of danger that may meet him.

[ooc: hope this is all right ^^;]

Evey was about to sit down when there was a quiet knock at the door. Before V or Walter could say anything, she said, "The door must have shut--I'll get it." As she left, she made sure to surreptitiously brush against V; if he was going to play that game, she would, too.

Standing on the other side of the threshold was a man she didn't recognize. "Hello," she said pleasantly, and gestured for him to enter. "I'm Evey. You're here for the meeting?"

As she spoke, she tried to prop open the door firmly enough that it wouldn't fall shut again.

"Ah..." Athrun relaxed, strings of tension unravelling within him. This was the right place then. "Yes, I am. Athrun Zala."

With that brief introduction, he nodded politely to Evey before stepping into the room.

Kira silently followed the arrows from the train station, momentarily pausing every so often in order to glance at his surroundings. One should never let his guard down in this place, especially in an unfamiliar part of town. Torii, as usual, flew not far behind, eventually coming to lightly rest on Kira’s shoulder as he made his way across the train tracks.

He had been looking forward to this meeting ever since it had first been announced. He hadn’t been trapped in the city as long as some, but the few weeks he had spent in the place were already enough...now, he wanted nothing more than to go home. It wasn’t just the tricks and distractions that were regularly visited upon the city’s inhabitants -- those were things that tended to be temporary, and they could be endured with enough patience. Instead, it was the growing anxiety of being away from home that was eating at Kira, a feeling that grew more intense day after day. The world he had left behind was in danger, and much of the force that was originally resisting the war was now stuck within the city’s walls. If he and his friends couldn’t get out soon, they might not even have anything to go back to when everything was said and done. A dead world.

Kira tried not to think of that particular possibility as he continued to walk.

He finally came to a poorly lit tunnel and, seeing the signs, entered as the arrows indicated. It didn’t take him very long to reach the end, and with it, an open door. 'This must be the place, then,' he thought, sighing with resignation as his walked closer to obvious entrance.

He silently hoped that he would learn something new tonight. Something, anything that would help him and the others get home.

Kira knocked on the frame of the door and raised his voice slightly. Even if the door was open, just barging in seemed a little impolite.

"Excuse me," he began, "is this the meeting place...?"

Pandora walked calmly through the city until she found the spot she assumed was where this meeting was going to be held. She hadn't seen a need to get back home until a particular meeting with someone. From that she had learned just how much she missed some people, one in particular. She now wanted to find a way to him, and she didn't care how.

She didn't think she was very welcome in this group with the others, but she would come anyway. As she approached the door she noticed a small boy knocking on the door. She wondered why he knocked on a door that was open. She silently walked up towards him.

Her first instincts were to sneak up on him and bite right into him, but she htought that might be frowned upon here at what was supposed to be a meeting. So she resisted the urge to feed, and it was beging to grow, and instead simply walked past him right into the room.

"Child, I don't think we need to knock before entering an open room." She said.

Eric made his way through the streets with the large bird flying over head having made sure he remembered the way to the door from his first visit to the home of Evey and V but that was a waste when the signs lead.

Jumping down on the tracks he made his way down towards where the door should be, he wanted to make sure that the council figured out a way to get out of here he wanted to get home to Shelley to make sure she was alright and not dead, and to get the ticking to stop in his head it was like a bomb ready to go off most of the time.

Seeing the boy and Pandora he reconized the body having been in it he walked towards the door "M'lady" he spoke to her still unknowing to her name after all she never offered it to him at all. and he waited for Kira to go in before he would follow Pandora.

Kira had been unaware that anyone was following so closely behind him, so when a woman he had never seen before suddenly swept past him and walked into the room, it made him feel a little uncomfortable. Soon after, another person -- this time, a man -- appeared at the doorway, and Kira began to wonder if he had just been distracted while coming here, or if both people were actually able to move that quietly.

Neither possibility was very appealing.

Turning to the man still standing behind him, he nodded once briefly in acknowledgment before walking through the open doorway and into the meeting room.
