Log: Ongoing
When; January 13, Evening
Rating; R for violence and gore
Characters; Rayne [
just_rayne], Henry Townsend [
wisdom_rcvr], Scarab [
noh_dancer], Pyramid Head [
redhorror] and later on Walter Dornez [
dark_butler]
Summary; Rayne's time has finally come but instead of the one on one battle she had been expecting she is greeted with the addition of the Red One's two pupils as well.
Log;
She had just needed to clear her head with the curse of the day things were getting rather loud even for her to lock out. Her mind was filled with so many things. Her concern for Walter's mental health, her own mental health, the fact that she was starting to feel after so many years of carefully practiced indifference and so on.
She hated the City and almost wished she had died after she finished off Kagan least then she would have went out on a high note. That fucking Cult had to come along and ruin everything. Things were nice and simple but obviously that was something that was not meant to last. Her aimless wandering took her rather close to the fountains and she had to stop and glare at the thing.
How did she end up back where she had started her strange journey into this world? Considering I hate the shit, I always seem to end up in it. she had told Walter and she could remember many of her earlier missions for Brimstone driving that fact home for her.
One day you are going to meet a sticky end my dear girl. Her father's voice reverberated through her head causing her frown to deepen. "Like I give a fuck what he thinks!" she gritted out. These stupid memories would likely cause her to put a bullet through her own skull one day. 'Even from beyond that fucker taunts me.' She thought bitterly.
[ooc; Note to other muns let's go with comments rather than replies it makes it easier on my crappy computer. Thank you. <3]

The occasional streetlight began, one by one, to become choked off with a crawling, consuming darkness.
The darkness spread, and deepend until nothing beyond the pool of light caste by a light on the side of the sheer building's wall became the only percievable amount of space within the darkened city streets.
At the very edges of this caste light the darkness moved; shifted, melted, stretched and ran.
The writhing mass then coalesced into a form.
The monster jerked, and twitched, but seemed otherwise unphased as it raised itself to it's feet. Turning back, it drew forth it's nine-foot steel blade from the darkness beyond.
The blade hit the concrete with a reverberating, mettalic thud, and the Executioner set off, the tell-tale scream and grind of his slow gait heralding his arrival; Relentless, remorseless.
The Red Pyramid, Right Hand, Great Blade.
He lived in it, moved through it, was a part of it.
.....And through the darkness, he could hear a smell. See a sound.
The call and response of the condemned.
...But not just any condemned...
HER
The woman in red. Only partially human, but a monster just like him.
...We all started as something else
SHE had killed Brother memory, and SHE had caused his family enough pain...
....SHE had wanted to kill Brother Serpent...
Murderer
Monster
Guilty

Her senses stretched out into the darkness alerting her to more than one presence. So he brought a friend this time around, she thought, refusing to acknowledge her fear. She was too stubborn for that.
Her all too cocky aire in full effect she stood her ground ready to do what had to be done. Let them come, and watch them fall. No way was she going to be just another victim.
"I'm ready..." she trailed off, attempting to shield her mind. She wouldn't let him inside that easily. No, she was certain she was stronger than that.

He took a moment to lick his lips. He'd waited too long for this kill.
But this wasn't his show, it was the Executioner. He stayed behind the red pyramid, and he waited.

She stood defiant but on her guard, both blades at the ready. "Not still mad about what I did to your little friend are you...Hen-ry?" she asked, her voice both condescending and sickening sweet. "How is the little bitch?"
Insolent till the end was her way and would always be her way.
