Log; Ongoing

When; January 14th, evening
Rating; No telling with these two. ^^;
Characters; Rangiku and Aizen, with a not so shocking guest. XD
Summary; An evening talk
Log;

Rangiku took her time. She'd changed into something more casual than her usual robes and pulled her thick hair back into a clip before she headed for the door. After a quick goodbye to Gin, she made her way into the cold night air.

Her feet were quiet as they took her to the entrance to Aizen's underground home. She paused at the door, thinking to knock, but instead chose to just go on in.

She remained silent as she traversed the long hallways, using her reiatsu to tell her where she needed to go to find him.

THIS had caught his attention. Powerful beings always did.

"Really? A man who caught a shinigami off-guard? Who was he? Were would you rank his power?"

He listened intently and took a sip of his tea, one hand on her leg.

There was no visible change in Aizen. He continued to sip his tea and took a bite of his pastry.

"Oh. That's nice. He didn't cause those scratches, did he? Did he try anything? He has a reputation of that. One of the more libidinous gods I've seen here."

All of the sudden, a cup on the far end of the picnic cloth shattered.

"Ah. Sorry. I'll clean that up, later."

"Interesting. I have wondered about his actual strength, seeing as he does very little."

He poured more tea and dipped some of his pastry in it, then brought it to his mouth.

"In any case, I'm glad you're back. I missed you.

He leaned over her, putting them both flat against the roof. He kissed her lips softly and curled his fingers with hers.

"I missed you so...so much..."

Gin was pissed, to say the very least. Reiatsu leaking out nearly uncontrolled, he had set out towards Aizen's, following the map he had been given by...he couldn't remember who, but it didn't matter. Just as long as he could get there. She wasn't safe. Nobody was, not around Aizen.

At his full speed, it didn't take him long to reach Aizen's. Quickly locating the two, he stopped a distance away, eyes open and glaring at Aizen. Though his weapon was firmly attached at his hip this time, he made no move for it. Silently, he waited to see their response to his blunt arrival.

Aizen, for once, had his guard down. The dawning look of surprise in his lover's eyes soon alerted him, though. He turned his head to look into Gin's eyes. How dare he interrupt such a private moment?

He sat up, but wasn't yet standing.

"What are you doing here, Gin? Don't you have your own apartment? I believe I said that I was done discussing things with you tonight. Go home."

Aizen looked up at him, unphased by his angry entrance.

Gin took a few steps forward, releasing and hold he had on his reiatsu. "I think I made it pretty clear that I ain't takin' orders from you anymore." He was clearly in no mood to be talked down to.

He dropped his eyes to Rangiku for a second, the rage leaving his expression. "Sorry," was all he managed to say.

Aizen scooted between them and continued looking into Gin's eyes.

"I assumed there was an agreement. She wanted to come over here, tonight. You were supposed to stay away. I'm not going to ask you a third time."

He stood and stared down at the other man, like two rams on a cliffside.

Gin continued his slow pace forward, eyes returning to stare back at Aizen's. "That might be what you decided. I won't leave." Not without her, he added silently. It would hurt her, but he decided that it would be better this way, better than letting Aizen continue to hurt her and 'win her back,' as he had described it.

Aizen kept his hands in his pockets, casting a lop-sided gaze at his former co-conspirator. He turned his gaze to Rangiku and calmly spoke to her.

"I'm willing to avoid a fight, but I'm not sure about him. Do you think you can turn him away?"

[identity profile] good-and-proper.livejournal.com 2007-01-15 05:42 am (UTC)(link)
With not a single sound made, Aizen went to from behind Rangiku, to behind Gin, putting a hand on his sword arm. He squeezed hard to get his attention.

"She has a point, Gin. Listen to her. This is neither the time, nor place. Go home and cool off. You stand no chance of killing me, but I will defend myself to the utmost if attacked."

[identity profile] kitsunesmile.livejournal.com 2007-01-15 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
"And sit back while he tries to take you for his own? So he can hurt you again? I won't." He halted his advance, allowing her to turn his head, staring at her, face showing signs of the breakdown he was currently experiencing. "I won't," he repeated, voice wavering slightly.

He then turned his eyes to try to glare back at the man now standing behind him, ignoring the hand grasping his arm. "And if I refuse?"

[identity profile] good-and-proper.livejournal.com 2007-01-15 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
"Then I will incapacitate you to the point where you can no longer fight."

Aizen stared back, not backing down. If his subordinate was going to come at him like this, the he would put the pecking order back to normal very quickly.

"Now BACK...DOWN."

[identity profile] good-and-proper.livejournal.com 2007-01-15 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
"What do you expect me to do, Ran? Let him cut me down?"

[identity profile] kitsunesmile.livejournal.com 2007-01-15 06:02 am (UTC)(link)
Gin shook his head. "I said I won't leave. As long as I have a single breath left in my body, I won't let you hurt her." He lifted his free hand and caught the one on his chest, holding it there. "I won't," he repeated again.

Aizen glared at Gin and released his arm, then turned his back on Gin and retook his seat on the ground.

"Ran, shall we get back to our meal?"
