Log: Open

When; Jan 20th, afternoon
Rating; G
Characters; Left Hand [[livejournal.com profile] favored_son]. Open to Hellsing.
Summary; D's parasite is privy to a certain piece of information he feels the hunter's family ought to know.
Log;

Thanks to their mixed blood, many dhampirs were fully capable of being active both day and night. D was able to do so with relatively little trouble due to his unique lineage. Nevertheless, he was half vampire, and his instincts encouraged him to remain out of the sunlight as much as possible, and to rest when the sun was at its brightest.

The dhampir was doing just that when his partner determined it was time to make a little excursion on D's behalf. Left Hand slithered carefully into the open air, taking advantage of its connection with D's nervous system and somewhat lowered defenses to keep the hunter from noticing his departure. The parasite snaked down from the bed and across the floor to a table where pen and paper sat ready for use. Though it had no hands, the creature was remarkably adept at many things one generally thought would require fingers. It quickly scribbled a note, then dropped back to the floor with paper in tow.

Left Hand found its way into the hall and moved towards another room. The parasite pushed the note through the small space between doorway and floor, then made a hasty return to its proper place in D's hand.

[Whose door did Left Hand slide the note under? I don't know! Oh, how exciting!]

Alucard felt, pardon the horrid joke, a disturbance in the force. Shifting through his coffin and taking solid form, he arched a dark brow at the carefully written note laying paper white against the rich wood floor.

Bending, he lifted it up and smirked, "Oh Integral. . " he called as he shifted through the wall of his room and into hers.

Integral was sitting, reading on the latest drama that happened in the city. She couldn't brush off the possibility of war between those so called "death gods." Any conflict would flare Millennium interests, after all.

She was about to answer when Alucard disturbed her. "What?"

[identity profile] hercount.livejournal.com 2007-01-20 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
He held up the note, then offered it to her, "A parasitic fairy left this under my door. Our son's birthday is tomorrow," Alucard replied. Then half smirked, "Shall we surprise him?"

[identity profile] steeldame.livejournal.com 2007-01-20 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Integral read the note and lifted an eyebrow. She tucked the note and placed it inside her pocket. "A surprise?" she asked dryly. "He is an adult for a childish surprise party, Alucard. But if you mean presents and casual visit of his grandfather, yes."

[identity profile] hercount.livejournal.com 2007-01-20 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
"That is what I meant," Alucard replied, arching a brow in amusement that she would suggest he thought of a party. "But what present could we get the boy?"

[identity profile] steeldame.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Integral didn't avert her eyes at wrongly the assumption.

"He's not a boy, Alucard," she pointed out as she shut down her laptop. "He's a grown vampire hunter." She didn't have the slightest idea for a gift. Usually Walter was the one who shop on her behalf.

"He is my son and thus I will ever think of him as a boy," Alucard countered. "As for a present. ."

Then paused, "Something useful, of course."

[identity profile] steeldame.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
"No," Integral denied, shaking her head. "He purchases his useful items, Alucard. This is a present, it must be something meaningful."

[identity profile] hercount.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
"But what can we give him that he does not have from us in the future?" Alucard asked. "I want this to be special for him."

[identity profile] steeldame.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
"Naturally," Integral said, musing the options. "Perhaps some item from this city? A nostalgic token that show this journey wasn't all a dream born of loneliness?"

[identity profile] hercount.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
"Ah, that would be nice," Alucard replied, tilting his head. "A peice of the carousel, perhaps? Or a family photograph with his grandfather and his parents? As well as his half sister?"

[identity profile] steeldame.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
"Both. It could be in front of the carousel," Integral proposed, smirking widely. "Himself included, we could fool D into follow us unsuspecting of our plans."

[identity profile] hercount.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
The vampire gave a wide, Cheshire grin, "An excellent idea, Master."

[identity profile] steeldame.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
"I will make the summons, Alucard," Integral said, "You will have to convince D to join us."

Crossing his arm in front of his chest, he bowed deeply at the waist, "So shall it be done."
