Summary; So, the filthy cat attacked the wolf's girlfriend and some wolf's really pissed off and decides to fight fire with fire. The epic, long overdue battle between cat and dog ensues! (Or rather wolf and leopard, in this case)
Log;

Patience really wasn't one of his strong points. But breaking the cat's face with his girlfriend around was out of question. Not that Naoto would be a problem to fight, but Jyabura wanted no one to interfere. Skinning that cat is a big enough problem already.

Waiting for Naoto to leave the fucking apartment was harder for him than the actual fight would be. Restless he wandered around in his own apartment, like a locked up wild animal, which wasn't far from truth. When he saw the girl finally leaving the building, he instantly took the chance and went to apartment 7, a lot calmer then he expected. Only the silence before the storm, or something.

With a fast kick he sliced the door apart, inwardly trying to imitate Kaku. The door broke apart awfully loud, smashing into the apartment and breaking something, more like hit by a train than sharply sliced. Oh well! He wasn't the expert in Rankyaku anyways, so what. With hands in his pockets he wandered inside, ready for everything to come. And damn, that would be a pissed off cat.

"Hey, bastard. Your neighbour's coming around for a while. I hope you don't mind."

Nothing was better than reading the paper with some coffee, knowing that you beat someone up just a few days ago. At least, according to Rob Lucci. But he wasn't very right in the head anyway, some said, so this was of course questionable.

But, at that moment, Lucci thought there wasn't anything more enjoyable than that, even though he wasn't really reading anything at all. His mind constantly wandered back to that alley, hoping that he'd be able to do it again sometime; it had been one of the highlights of his stay in the City. He knew that he wouldn't get another chance of doing so, because his latest... victim would probably be protected like she was the fucking Holy Grail or something from now on. Especially by Jyabura.

His musings got violently interrupted by a crash and a bang, he leaned his chair backwards to catch a glimpse of the now destroyed door.

Well, speak of the devil.

"You could've made your worthless appearance without breaking the door, Fido," he said without even standing up and leaving the kitchen to greet his colleague; he knew what this was about. And frankly, he didn't give a shit.

Lucci knew that this was the reason why Jyabura was here and hell, what else could've been the reason? The guy had come to get his pathetic "revenge", so he obviously knew what had happened to Nico Robin. Lucci hoped that the wolf also knew how much he enjoyed fucking his girlfriend up.

Still, Jyabura's sudden outburst of violence certainly surprised him, but he hadn't expected anything less as he managed to land on his feet with an annoyed huff. Close call. As much as he liked to fight, he avoided doing so with any of his colleagues, especially Jyabura, even if he had the burning desire of just scratching his throat open. But right now, the bastard was obviously asking to get his ass kicked.

"You at least could've brought that bitch of yours so she can watch me break all of your bones."

Crushing the table with a Rankyaku, Lucci surely started to get horribly irritated with the situation, despite the fact that he didn't have a bad temper at all. But if someone started to throw stuff at him, things were going a bit too far.

"No, you should be glad that you let Naoto leave," he said while he slowly transformed into the huge half-leopard, half-human state he liked so much. "She would've definitely sliced you open."

With that, his transformation was complete and he had to crouch a bit to even give himself room to stand; going into Zoan mode was such a pain in the ass to do indoors. But well, all for a good cause. He didn't waste any more time as he suddenly assaulted Jyabura, going for his favourite place to hurt; the throat.

Even though he'd never admit it, Lucci was surely enjoying this fight like never before. It had been way too long since a fight, a good fight, like that one against the Strawhat. Well, he'd lost that one, but it hadn't kept him from enjoying it to its fullest. It wasn't every day that he met such a person.

But right now he had the feeling of making Jyabura bleed like a pig and he was determined to let that happen. Actually, very much so.

He dodged the sharp fangs that were aimed at his arm and quickly spun around to face the wolf's back, seeing a golden opportunity to make the other's situation a bit more... uncomfortable. He moved as fast as he could and hauled his claws down Jyabura's back, not even trying to cover up his sadistic grin. Oh yes, way too much fun.

Lucci had to keep himself from snarling violently when he felt his arm being crushed like a twig; he knew that Jyabura was strong, but he certainly hadn't been expecting this. He tried to get the wolf off him, but nothing worked as the sharp fangs had deeply locked onto his arm. And it fucking hurt too.

He was sick of this shit; he wriggled his other arm free and tried to use a Shigan on the wolf, not even noticing if he had his target. The excruciating pain in his arm was making him numb, something he hadn't ever experienced before. Apparently he had underestimated Jyabura a whole lot.

But Jyabura had forgetten about one other person -- that is, until the sharpened edge of a katana pressed dangerously against his wound.

Naoto had returned mere minutes earlier, startled in the hallway by the noise coming from her apartment. She had dashed to the site to find the door kicked down and animals far larger than normal wrestling, killing each other in th emiddle of the living room. In a flash, Naoto's katana was in her hands.

"Jyabura-san," she said coldly, her voice and sword unwavering. "I don't want to have to kill you."

[identity profile] naoto-two.livejournal.com 2007-01-20 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Though one of her two katana had been wrenched from her hands, Naoto remained calm. Her hands flew, one to the knife at her belt, which instantly found itself against Jyabura's wound again, and the other to roughly grab his ear. She knew she was being suicidal, but she knew of no other way. She didn't want to fight him.

"Jyabura-san!" the woman snapped, jerking him roughly. "Think of Robin!"

She hoped beyond hope that her name would snap him to his senses.

Lucci didn't think twice as Jyabura had finally let go of his arm; he reverted back to human state and crawled out from under the wolf, getting up a bit shakily while clutching his injured arm. The fucker had actually crushed it, something he didn't think the man would have been able to. He definitely wouldn't forget this; the bastard would pay at a later time.

He quickly used a Rankyaku to blast Jyabura off to the other side of the room -- not for himself, but for Naoto. He wasn't sure of what Jyabura would do to her while he was in this state. He turned towards her and frowned in annoyance; he hated interruptions.

"What do you think you're doing?"

[identity profile] naoto-two.livejournal.com 2007-01-20 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Naoto had to duck the rankyaku, then scrambled over to Lucci's side to look at his arm. She'd have to find him a medic immediately. But she didn't know who she could trust enough. She supposed the hospital would have to do.

"I'm helping you," she replied. "I'm saving my living space from being trashed further. And I'm stopping you and Jyabura-san from killing each other."

She stepped in front of the wounded man and drew her second katana. "Jyabura-san, please. Think of Robin. She wouldn't want to see you injured. Robin wants you to be safe."

[identity profile] naoto-two.livejournal.com 2007-01-20 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Naoto watched Jyabura fly out the window before turning to finally take in the exact damage to her apartment. She sighed heavily, resigned, knowing that the City would restore it by the next day. Instead, she turned back to face Lucci.

"You attacked Robin," she accused, her eyes hard and unrelenting.

[identity profile] gtfoplzkthnx.livejournal.com 2007-01-20 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Lucci ignored her words and brushed past her towards the couch, which was miraculously still intact. He took his jacket and blouse off, or rather tore them off while sharply drawing some breath as he had the feeling that he was only making it worse. Which he probably was.

"Would you happen to know a good medic?" he asked, still ignoring her statement and examining his injured arm.

[identity profile] naoto-two.livejournal.com 2007-01-20 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
"I..." Wearily, she approached and sat beside him on the couch. "Not any individual medics, no. There's the hospital, though, and they have everything there that can fix your arm."

She placed a hand over his, her face set. "Now please tell me. Why did you attack Robin?"

[identity profile] gtfoplzkthnx.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 11:12 am (UTC)(link)
"Because it's my job to do so," was the cold and evasive answer. Telling her about his his sheer lust to see the woman bleed like there was no tomorrow would've been rather unwise.

He proceeded to look a this arm once more and frowned, mostly at the thought of the cause than the wound itself. Injuries weren't bad, they were a part of his job, his life even, but the fact that a colleague had attacked him still made him angry. Even though he hated that certain colleague with a burning passion.

"How long do you think it'll take to recover?" he asked, shifting the subject to something that didn't have to do with a certain dark-haired woman whose life he wanted to ruin.

[identity profile] naoto-two.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 02:38 pm (UTC)(link)
She shook her head. "That's not the right answer," she said quietly. "You know it's not. You're far from your world, from your government, and you haven't done anything previously against her. So why now?"

She understood that he hated Robin and wanted to see her dead, but... Robin was Naoto's friend. She didn't want to see her hurt, and if it came down to it, she would fight Lucci for Robin's sake. She hated being torn on such an issue.

Naoto stood and padded over to where her katana lay, mostly undamaged. "I don't know. Ask a doctor, not me." She kept her back to Lucci.

[identity profile] gtfoplzkthnx.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 02:50 pm (UTC)(link)
"So you'd rather like hearing how badly I want rip her intestines out?" he asked calmly, forgetting what he decided earlier and just telling Naoto what she wanted to hear. Because it was exactly what he was thinking anyway.

He leaned back and sighed, running a hand through his hair with a non-injured arm. "I'll visit a doctor tomorrow or something."

[identity profile] naoto-two.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
"Go to a doctor now if you don't want that arm infected." Her voice was even, almost cold, but then she whirled around with a death grip on her sword and the first sign of tears in her eyes.

"Go, now! Before I try to skewer you!" Her arms were trembling. "I don't care how much you hate her, how much you want to kill her. She's my friend... my nakama! The last thing I want to see is her bleed!" She pointed with her katana at the door. "Now go to the damn hospital."

[identity profile] gtfoplzkthnx.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 04:17 pm (UTC)(link)
"You wouldn't, and that's your biggest weakness, like I said before," he said, far from being annoyed or touched by her words. He couldn't care less about her friendship with Robin, and even if Naoto would ever attack him, it'd be too easy to stop her.

"And I'm not going to the 'damn' hospital until you calm down. Stop acting so ridiculous," he said while standing up and picking his clothes up from the floor, looking at the cuts and torn fabric. Yeah, those were absolute goners.

[identity profile] naoto-two.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 04:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Naoto glared at him from across the room, breathing heavily in her fury. With a snap, she sheathed her sword, then turned on her heel and stalked towards the main entrance.

"I'm not acting ridiculous," she snapped, tossing him another glare from over her shoulder as she stepped over the splintered door. "You're being stupid for not getting that arm looked at. It better be tended to when I get back."

[identity profile] gtfoplzkthnx.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 06:34 pm (UTC)(link)
"Whatever you say," he shrugged, buttoning up his ruined blouse again, careful not to injure his arm any further. He really had to go to that hospital; it started to hurt like a bitch and at this rate, he could lose his arm. That was absolutely the last thing he wanted to happen.

"And where might you be going?"

[identity profile] naoto-two.livejournal.com 2007-01-21 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
"I'm going to check on Robin. Not that you would care," she added furiously before stalking out of the apartment.
