Log: Ongoing

When; Jan 21
Rating; G
Characters; D, Members of Hellsing
Summary; Integral and Alucard have been scheming since Left Hand so kindly informed them it was D's birthday.
Log;

In light of the date, D was somewhat suspicious when his father requested a word in person. He told himself that his suspicions were groundless. Surely, his parents didn't know. The arrival of Alucard's past self was a more likely explanation for the vampire's desire to go for a walk.

Resigned to whatever it was his father wanted, D donned his hat, cloak and sword, and left his room.

Integral was waiting for Alucard, looking at her wrist watch and wondering if Seras and Pip wanted to join them (surely Walter wouldn't wish to be with them). Her father would adjourn when they arrive to the carousel.

She straightened her black suit and checked her reflection. She couldn't have her son recall her being untidy.

Alucard was waiting for D outside the building, standing in shadows that seemed to be both around him and a part of him. As D exited, the vampire detatched and smirked at him, flashing a fanged cheshire grin, "Son."

And turned, starting in the direction of the carousel, waiting for D to join him at his side, "As you know this. . former self from 1944 is here and is quite disturbing to behold, especially with your grandfather and Walter."

"Complete," Alucard replied. "There is room for a bit of mischief on his part, but he will do nothing that would merit more than a light scolding."

"If you wish to see him, to speak to him, you may," Alucard replied. "But do remember, that is not your father."

"Arthur asked for it. He preferred young androgenous type persons around him," Alucard replied with a chuckle.

"Most are not capable of shifting their bodies in a such a complete and different manner. I imagine, that is why they stick to cliches," he added.

"You have something against carousels?" Alucard asked with a smirk.

"The older a vampire becomes, the more melodramatic. I should think you learned this lesson through me. Though. .I hope to change the future where that is concerned."

"I do, don't I?" He replied and gestured to Integral as she stood in front of the carousel. "Your mother wishes to speak to you as well."

Where were them? Integral brushed her hair in frustration. She fished up a cigar from her pocket and looked the surroundings. Alucard and D were already there, what about the others.

Forcing a calm smile, Integral nodded, encouraging D to approach safely.

"Because you are observant. Now, no arguments with your mother," Alucard replied with a smirk.

"He didn't tell us anything," Integral interrupted, walking toward them as she lit her cigar. "He wrote a note."

Seras practically screamed at the sight of her coffin side clock. In moments she was dressed and running toward the carousel. How embaressing to be late!

She made her way out the door and onto the street zipping up her boots and attempting to organize her hair all while sprinting to her destination.

"Ah, but D, you can show your amusement or enjoyment if you like," Alucard murmured against his ear. "We are your family, after all. And the police girl is rather humorous."

Integral placed a hand on Alucard's shoulder, trying to appear as familiar as she could affort with their formal relationship established.

"Stand between us, son."

The police girl skidded to a hault. "H-Happy Birthday!" She smiled sheepishly and adjusted her wild hair. "I hope I'm not too late."

Alucard inclined his head to Integral as she put her hand on his shoulder, giving her a small smile. Even this simple gesture was appreciated by him. "Come Seras, we are taking a picture for D to remember when he returns to his world."

"Wait, Alucard," Integral said, looking around. "My father hasn't arrived yet. He wanted to be in the picture." She glanced at Seras next, "What about the Captain, Police Girl? Is he coming?"

As if on cue, Arthur Hellsing made his way toward the carosel and the small group gathering. "I'm sorry I'm late. It took some effort to get away this morning," he said simply. Not wanting to go into detail about prying a certain clinging vampire off his person. There was already enough questions that he didn't want to answer.

A faint, childish giggle- ghostly in its sound- rang out across the carousel. As the carousel ran, music chiming, figures going up and down as the whole thing turned, Girlycard came into view.

How very interesting this all was. Tilting his head, he watched. The boy- ah! He saw now, his future son with the Hellsing heir. Wasn't that intriguing. Arthur must have flipped his lead on learning that.

Remaining mounted on the carousel horse, he continued to watch.
