"Who-whoa! Whoa! Chill the hell out! What's wrong, babe? C'mon, tell me all about it!"

"Men... Pink... Murder..." Was all she could mutter as she exited the building, grateful for the dark night. Zaheela was so disgruntled, she didn't realize that she was still in her outfit from earlier, a loose open, 3/4th sleeved, button down shirt and a pair of tight, low slung pants, due to the fact she could wear not other of these modern fashions unless she wished to alter the clothing.

"Yo!" he said, jumping in front of her, "Calm down, calm down. Now what's gotcha' so worked up? Somebody givin' you shit?"

"To put it bluntly, yes... But I was sort of asking for it so I suppose I have no choice in the matter... Still doesn't mean I can't curse the guy..." She replied, noting to herself tonight would be one of the few times she would wear a towel in the hot springs. She wasn't one to tempt fate....

He snatched her up off the ground and took off for the temple. His feet touched bark and immediately sprung off. The technique was used repeatedly, allowing him to give her a free aerial trip over the walkway, as he hopped from branch to branch.
"Now that's travelin', ha ha!"

"What in all Altana's Name are you doingggggg?" She cried, a panicked look in her eyes. It was fall fine and dandy when SHE cast the float spell, but being carried like one would stolen treasure wasn't quite the same.

"C'mon, Zaheela! I'm just showin' you a good time! I'm an expert at things like this. Don't worry about it, you're light as a feather."
He continued to zoom by trees and narrowly avoided a large birdnest, steadily gaining altitude.
"I've done this a million times! Check this out..." he suddenly tossed her into the air, "Upsie..."

"Ow! What do you do, break cement with your face?" She almost yowled, rubbing her now aching foot.

"Sorry there, pretty miss kitty, but homunculi are made of stern stuff. Our flesh is tougher than a real humans. That's not counting my shield, either."
He brushed some small branches from her, lingering over some of the fabric.
"Are these what a...what's it called? White mage? These what a white mage wears?"

"These are normal everyday clothes. I figured that walking around looking like i'm from the... Middle ages is strange enough. However, I do have my magely clothes on me, I just don't expect to wear them... yet..." She responded before slipping out of his arms once they had firmly landed.
"So... tea first?" She questioned. Back was still in knots from various experiments after all, and she didn't feel that blasting a man and then drinking tea was quite... right...

He led her through a doorway and into the temple interior, descending down into the kitchen for the tea. Upon entry, the strong smell of cooking meat and bubbling tea assailed the senses.
"Right here," he said, picking up a large, hot clay jug, "Right this way."
Greed continued to cross the hallways, finally leading her to the hot spring.
"Change into a towel and meet me there," he said, changing and slipping through the door.

"Sorry chick, but it ain't gonna' be that easy when I have this on!" he yelled, chuckling to himself.
The skin slowly slid away to reveal his actual body beneath.
"I don't like usin' it, but I will."

THAT WAS IT!
She pressed her hand against her chest softly and focused, drawing upon her magic.
"Haste..."

"And what's that do?"

Greed tried to react to her movements, but it seems like the more he tried, the faster she seemed. What the hell was going on?
"Oh, more of that magic, eh? Ya' know, I don't think that shit lasts forever. What'll ya' do when it runs out, eh? Can you keep this up for days?"

"What the hell? This stupid shit is gettin' on my nerves!"
His stone began to kick on at his distress, the alchemical energy renewing his body.
"Come on, baby! Let's go for more!"
He stalked toward her again, slowly starting to regain his speed.

"Gonna' need somethin' stronger, babe. See, you may be a little quicker, and have lots of tricks, but I've fought ninja who also had that. My game is ENDURANCE. I just can wait out my opponents until their energy runs dry."
He crouched to pick up a large stone, then hurled it at her.
"So don't waste your energy on weak attacks."

"Then I won't." She said, suddenly appearing behind right behind him as the earth shook with enough force to topple another Pillar just by it's presence. The Blast she released to his back was a testament to that power, and it took less then a second to cast. It was not light she released, but the pure, unrestrained forces of Mana.

"OoOGh..." came a sound from underneath the rubble.
Slowly but surely, Greed pushed the wreckage off his body, then tested his arms and took a look around. He smiled as he realized that he was no longer slowed. He picked up a broken 2x4 from the destroyed hut and stomped back toward her, giving a few test swings to the plank of wood.
"Pretty strong stuff, babe. But you can't destroy the Ultimate Shield that easy. This skin is harder than diamond. Too bad you ain't an alchemist."
