Log; Ongoing
When; Now, Dirty Secret Day
Rating; PG to PG13 for Adeline talking at length about killing people ♥
Characters; Adeline
adelinesweet and Smee
b_q_smee
Summary; Adeline and Smee meet each other in town. Secrets happen.
Log;
Adeline was thinking about Iraq. More specifically, a boy named Bahadur Abraheemnajad. He had the most dazzling eyes. A perfect smile. Nimble hands. Dark hair. Adeline had been completely enrapt by the boy, so smart for only seven years old. She had talked to him, when his father came to visit the base. His father was translator, making French into the language of his people. Bahadur loved learning French.
Adeline had shot him in the head. His father had leaked information to an unknown party. The whole family had to die.
Adeline was thinking of a girl (Or a woman?) named Shaheen. Or, at least, Adeline thought her name had been Shaheen. It was what the woman Adeline thought might be her mother had shouted when the bullet had hit. But for all Adeline knew, ‘Shaheen’ meant “Help, someone shot my daughter!”. Adeline thought ‘Shaheen’ was a bit short, though, for a cry of help and anguish, but, on the other hand, Adeline had shot the mother before she could have finished her sentence.
And Adeline felt nothing. It was her job. The captain said “Pousse!” into her headset, so that person had to die. And that one. And that one. And she did it all with the grace and care that someone else, if they had a different job, might staple papers or fix their office lightbulb.
And Adeline could not stop thinking about this, her job. It didn’t bother her, but it bothered other people!
And she could think of nothing else but to tell someone!
Now, where was Smee? He said they where going to meet in the market place... where in the market place?
Adeline thought about a boy named Mohammed, and how his eyes had glazed over...

Now, where was Smee? He said they where going to meet in the market place... where in the market place?
Adeline thought about a boy named Mohammed, and how his eyes had glazed over...
Where was Smee?

"I care for a pirate. How is that not the wrong person?" he asked. He shook his head. "W-w-what would you l-l-like to drink?"
no subject
"Anything is fine..."
no subject
"I...this day is weird." he stated, with a sigh.

She sipped the tea. Oh. Earl Grey. So... Brittish. But this man was Brittish, how could she blame him? "Thank you."
no subject
"Th-th-thank you f-f-for joining me." Smee stated, with a smile. "Th-th-though I fear I haven't p-p-picked the best d-d-day. Did you kn-know that I watched Jas kil--" Smee's tea cup clattered into its saucer as he set it down quickly, clapping his hands over his mouth, muffling the rest of what he was going to say. He dropped his hands after a moment, making sure the rest was gone.
"S-s-sorry about that..."
[ooc: please excuse my need to fangirl Hitchhiker's for a moment with the tea thing...]

"Ah-..." Adeline understood. Some things are best kept hidded, "You are welcome." was all she said.
[ooc Are you kidding? I do that all the time. Mostly with Tonks. Her apartment room is 42, and on cursing day she yelled 'Belgum'! And I am seriously thinking of picking up Ford, now >>;]
no subject
Smee nodded. "So, other than these h-h-h-horrid c-curses, h-h-how do you l-l-l-like it here?"
There! at least he managed to say that without stuttering out a secret.
[ooc:xD BELGUM!
dooooooo iiiittttttt! Smee can panic and Ford can be all "LOLZ, DON'T PANIC! :D"*cough* I mean, what? *isgeekingout*]no subject
She sipped her tea, "What about you, sir Smee?"
[ooc *Is totaly collecting Ford icons for this very reason* I mean, what?]
no subject
"W-w-w-well it's...rather interesting and it's making change as a person and I'm not sure how I feel about that and it's quite frightening actually." Pretty much that whole section from "rather" to "actually" was said in a rush.
oh WAIT! That was NOT what he meant to say! He coughed. "I mean, th-that is t-t-to say, it's alright. I mean, I'm back w-w-with the C-C-Captain so it's alr-r-right...but I think that all this change is bothering him also and I think that's why I got kicked off of the ship last night because I stood up to him and I don't really do that at all never."
And again with the rushed, almost slurred together words from the "but" to the "never"...
oh dear.
[ooc: *GLEEEEEEE* :D which Ford? :3]
no subject
Now, that was a test of her english. Adeline was tempted to ask what a 'angeasaperso' was, but decided not to press it. The curse, and all.
"Um... Oui?" She sipped her tea.
[ooc I'll prolly icon Mos Def's Ford, since those are easier to find
and he's sexeh, but play a conglomerate of book/radio/movie/series/whutev~]no subject
"B-b-but other th-than these c-c-curses, th-th-this place is alr-r-right...I've definatley m-m-met some interesting p-people." He smiled.
[ooc:
god yes that man is sexomgsquee! <33333 and lol 'angeasaperso' <3]no subject
"Yes, many interesting people," Adeline smiled, drinking more tea, "Blue women and Englishmen I ca actually talk to are rather unknown in my world."
[ooc You will be seeing him when apps are open, and it is totally all your fault;; Adeline was suppost to be my last character~]
no subject
He did chuckle a little at Adeline's description of a couple people around the general area. "B-b-blue women?" he asked. "I d-d-don't think I've met her yet...although I have st-t-t-tayed at the home of a woman with ears and a t-t-tail."
[ooc: BWHAHAHAHAHAHA! *cough* I mean, yay!]
no subject
"Yes, she called herself some type of 'pure demon'... she is a rather interesting character..." Adeline smiled. She really did want to talk to Illyria more, the woman was so... odd, that it made her feel in control of things, here, in this strange, strange place.
Adeline cocked her head to the side, "A... tail?"
[ooc

He chuckled.
"Th-this place c-c-certainly is a s-strange collection of p-p-people."
[ooc: lweoihxptheOMGYAY! *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!*]
no subject
Adeline nodded in agreement, "And it just gets odder everyday."
[ooc Ah, he's gonna be stranded again...]
no subject
He chuckled. "Alm-most makes me w-w-wonder what's c-c-coming next."
no subject
"Yes, it is... keeping myself on my toes."
no subject
"I'm j-j-j-just n-never sure wh-whether I l-l-like it here or n-n-not." he admited, with a small shrug.
no subject
"I do not like it, but complacency is a learned skill." She smiled.
no subject
"Yes...c-c-considering it was s-s-something I thought I alr-r-ready learned..."
He did smile, however, as he stood. "It was v-v-very n-nice talking t-t-to you as w-w-well, Miss Adeline...W-W-Would you l-l-like me to esc-c-cort you h-home?"
The offer was pure politeness...he wouldn't mind in the least; not like he had anything to do today. He just asked because she was obviously a very independant woman and could quite clearly handle herself, and didn't want to insult her by assuming to escort her home without asking.
no subject
"No, I am fine, sir." She needed to leave before she spilled another secret.
"Thank you very much for the company and the tea," She held out her hand, "Mr Smee."
no subject
"And th-thank you as w-w-well, Miss Adeline." he said, with a smile, before releasing her hand. "I shall s-s-s-see you l-later, th-then?"
no subject
"Yes, I hope we shall," She smiled, "Adieu,"
no subject
"A-Adieu, Miss Adeline."
