Log;

Xanadu had turned out to be a lovely and peaceful place, Arthur made a mental note to visit again. Of course with the sun growing stronger D couldn't be outdoors comfortably much longer. Upon Arthur's suggestion the three of them headed toward the cafe for tea and a light snack. After all Arthur wanted to spend as much time as he could with both his daughter and grandson. One never knew when things would change.

Seating in a secluded spot shaded from the sun, three awaited the arrival of their orders.

"I realize this is a curse and far from normal," D observed as he sat back in his chair, hat tipped so that the brim shaded his eyes a little better, "but I think I like it. We should do this more often." Upon hearing the grumbling coming from his left hand, he added, "It's really too bad that my partner wasn't affected. He should be able to enjoy this as much as we are."

"It isn't like sunlight damages him," Integral muttered, lighting her cigar and tapping her fingers on the table. She wanted Alucard to be with them now. "He's probably cautious about his other version near. It's absurd. I would be happy if a past version of myself caused mischief."

She chuckled and glanced at Arthur. "Where is Walter, father? Sunlight shouldn't be deadly for him either."

D nodded his agreement with his mother. "Yes, where is he? I noticed he seemed to be enjoying the day as well, the last time I checked the network."
