Log: Ongoing

When; January 25th, afternoon
Rating; PG at the most (with teeth-rotting cuteness from Jeager)
Characters; Jeager [[livejournal.com profile] german_beefcake] and Elena [[livejournal.com profile] lady_turk]
Summary; Jeager and Elena decide to go check out the new zoo. Could this be a date? X3
Log;

It wasn't really a date. Well, not in Jeager's mind. Elena had offered to show him around the city, but seeing as Mars had already done that, the German suggested that they check out the new zoo that just opened up. Besides, it was such a nice day out and everyone was feeling so happy!

He was waiting at the fountains, wearing his usual wrestler outfit (minus the helmet) with a long brown trench coat, which looked a lot like his father's. The Chojin looked around the crowd, trying to spot Elena. He hoped he hadn't missed her.. She did say to meet at the fountains, right?

[OOC: Well, pppt. That was a poopy start. D= *tries to get her writer gears turning*]

Elena was already looking forward for the chance to actually meet one of the large wrestlers in person. She had a lot of fun teasing them and causing them to admit defeat in some manner or fashion to someone like herself. Imagine what she could do in person. Oh the havoc she could wreck made her almost want to giggle.

Almost.

Quickly reaching the fountains, Elena didn't have a hard time spotting Jeager. He only stood out a little with his build and height. Deciding to start her fun early, Elena shifted her weight so that her steps couldn't be heard. And with the crowd milling about, there was no chance that Jeager would be able to hear her coming.

It wasn't until she was right behind him and directly under his inital line of vision that the blonde woman spoke up.

"Hello Jeager! Ready for our little date?"

Just giving him a smug smirk in response, Elena made no comment on doing any such thing. And even if she had, she would have been lying anyway. If she didn't like scaring people, what was the point in meeting new people then?

"Oh, I don't think I'll be bored," Elena quipped, smirk growing wider. She didn't mean it as a date either. At least, not in the romantic sense. A person could have just as easily called a doctor's appointment a date and been fully justified. It wasn't her fault people took things the wrong way.

"Shall we go then?"

Waving a casual hand in the air, Elena didn't even bother thinking about bringing anything for money. This city took anything as currency anyways and she had tested out this matter throughly.

"I doubt it'd cost anything since everyone seems so excited about going and we were practically invited to come," Elena stated simply. "You should save your money for whenever you leave. Besides, I can pay for myself."

It was a sweet sentiment, if a little misplaced since Elena had technically been the one to invite herself out with him. If the case had been though that Jaeger did somehow pay for the two of them, Elena probably would have gone and found a way to slip back the wrestler his money. But since it wasn't, that point was moot.

Elena couldn't help but raise an eyebrow and click her heel on the pavement a little when he asked her what she wanted to see though. Like she really knew? She hadn't been to any kind of animal habitat since she was in primary school.

"I don't know..." she said while skimming over her own map. Getting an idea, Elena folded up her map and stuck it into her a pocket in the inside of her jacket. Standing up on her toes, the blonde woman placed her hands on Jaeger's and pulled them downwards. Not hard, but with just enough force to let him know what she wanted. And that was to look at the map in the blonde male's hands. "What looks good to you?" she asked innocently, pretending not to be aware that she was practically forcing Jaegar into her personal space.

And now Elena remembered why she had decided to lighten up on the flirting with Jaeger. He was just way to innocent for the subtle acts and word play to understand and see them for anything more than they were. Shaking her head and blowing at her hair, Elena also knew this zoo would most definitely be an interesting trip. Some of the animals they had listed, she'd never even heard of before.

"Wherever you want to go is fine with me. I've never even heard of some of these animals. I mean, what the hell's an elephant? They look like elfadunks to me, but that can't be right because elfadunks are blue, not gray."

[ooc: Since I have no idea what kind of animals the FFVII world has, I'm just using the monster list as a base for judgment. >_>]

"It's not as weird sounding as an elephant," Elena protested, sticking out her tonuge childishly. Truthfully, it was a little saddening since Elena had been kind of missing her home just a little. The sight of a chocobo would have been nice and welcome, if a little nolestic. But not one to let herself feel down in the company of others, the Turk picked a different emotion to focus on.

Elena let herself be lead to the aquarium, wondering just what kind of creatures she'd see there. Since it had kind of been stated that most of the animals would be ones Jaeger would be more familiar with, she would be left in the dark at what to expect. Idly, Elena wondered if the aquatic animals from Jaeger's world attacked people the way hers did.
