Summary; By now, Greed had lots of reasons for fighting Grimmjow, and there was no better time for the Espada to dish out some damage of his own.

He'd only been gone a couple days and there was already a long trail of blood and carnage he'd left in his wake. The smell was intoxicating, overwhelmingly satisfying, and the arrancar was glad to have his blade's thirst sated. Turning his back on his latest kill, Grimmjow headed deeper into the forest at an easy pace, preferring to stumble upon new prey instead of having to search for them.

A rustle from his right caught his attention, and he levelled his zanpakutou at the sound. "Come out, fucker," he sneered.

Felt himself parried and thrown to the ground, embedding his head in the earth for a second. He had enough time to frighten a family of rats before pulling his head out again.

"Think that's funny?!"

"Hell yeah."

The hand was in Greed's face in an instant, cero exploding immediately. Grimmjow was careful this time to jump back a few feet.

"Hey, Greed," he said casually, slipping his hands in his pockets, "you bored yet? 'Cause I am. This shit's been drawn out too long."

"You ain't apologized for what ya' did yet."

Greed began stalking toward him again, cracking his knuckles.

"But that's okay, I'll take her pound of flesh for her."

Grimmjow fought the urge to roll his eyes. As much as he didn't want to say sorry to Orihime, he'd told Hinamori he would. "I'm already apologizin' when I get back. But that ain't good enough for you, is it?"

He spread his arms wide, completely unguarded and exposed. Grinned. "All right, come on."

"Enemy of all beautiful women!?" he snarled, leaping for him, aiming his feet at him, trying to double kick him.

Grimmjow sidestepped and let Greed fly past him. Turning to watch the homunculus, he shouted back, "There's only one woman I care about. All the rest can get fucked over!"

Greed yelled at him as he sailed by, shaking his fist. It was then that he noticed the sound of running water. LOTS of running water, get VERY close.

"What the...hell..." he said, seeing the reason for the sound. There was a raging river going through this area, leading to a waterfall. Unfortunately, Greed was already past the river portion and sailing over the edge of the falls.

"SHIT! I'm not finished with you, asshole!" he yelled out, giving the finger to Grimmjow before disappearing over the falls.

He fell into the tumbling waters and out of sight.

Grimmjow walked over to the edge of the falls and leaned over to peer down. He couldn't see Greed from where he stood, but that wasn't a problem. He was bleeding and tired and really wanting a nap, so he didn't mind the unconventional ending.

"I ain't waiting for you!" he shouted, wondering if Greed could hear. "So when you find me, don't disappoint me again!"
