Log;

Barely a day had gone by since their little 'talk'. Sasuke's admission had been the last thing he'd expected. But at the same time, it felt...right. All this time since he'd first gotten to The City, his thoughts had remained around two mainly people; his father and the one he was currently heading back into the frontroom to see. The earlier visit to his father had ended well enough, and things were set for them to move in. His best friend was now his...well, Naruto honestly didn't know what he was meant to call him. He was Sasuke, and he always would be. Akatsuki hadn't been actively after him recently. And Kyuubi had been behaving. All in all, things were going great. And for some reason, right then, it felt as though nothing could go wrong.

Sasuke stretched his arms and stood up from the sofa to look for Naruto. After their talk yesterday from suddenly admitting his feelings towards Naruto, everything had been going really well or some reason, maybe too well, but then again the whole concept of being happy was still new to him, even now.

The moment Naruto spotted Sasuke, his grin grew. And less than a second later, he was practically tackling the other. "Let's go eat. Or go see this new zoo thing. Or...or...I don't know. I just wanna go do something with you." Of course, the emphasis was on the 'with you' part as opposed to anything else. But he may as well try something that they could both enjoy. Even though it felt right then as though he couldn't really choose anything he himself wouldn't like. If Sasuke liked it, he was sure he would too.

Before he knew it, the Naruto had tackled him already upon seeing him, and Sasuke just smiled "Sure! I want to go do something with you too. We could do any of those, whatever you want"

"Come on!" And he was off. Practically bouncing over toward the door, Naruto was pulling his shoes on before he even realised what he was doing. Looking back up to Sasuke with a sheepish smile, he scratched his head nervously. For some reason, he really didn't seem to be able to calm himself down. "Let's go to the zoo. They're meant to have loads of animals here."

"I'm coming!" Sasuke said, going towards the door almost as quickly as Naruto. He put on his shoes and opened the door to head outside,"Okay, that sounds good. Le'ts go then"

Back on his feet once again, Naruto followed after Sasuke, leaving the other to lock up behind them as he stepped out into the hallway. Only once he was finished did Naruto move back to Sasuke's side, a smile on his face as he took ahold of his hand without pause. It felt natural to him now. To be in contact with Sasuke whenever he could.

After locking up, the sudden movement of Naruto's hand taking ahold of his, after the other stood beside him, he looked up at Naruto smiling as they continued to walk down the hallway.

Making his way outside, Naruto began to head toward the city center where the supposed zoo had opened up. Kagura had told him about it a few hours before, asking both he, Sasuke and Arashi to go with her. But at that moment, he wanted nothing more than to spend the day with Sasuke alone.

Heading further into the city along side Naruto, the zoo soon appeared in sight. Sasuke gently tightened his grip on Naruto's hand, happy that he could spend the day with just Naruto right then.

Naruto watched the crowds ahead as they began to filter their way in through the main gates. Casting a sideglance to Sasuke, he grinned. Even if they had to wait, he didn't mind.

With the crowds of people surrounding the area, he turned to Naruto "So when do finally get inside, what do you want to do first?"

"I don't know." Laughing nersously, he scratched the back of his head as he turned back to the front. "I've never been to a zoo before."

"I haven't been to one either, you know" Sasuke couldn't help but laugh "I guess we can just figure that out when we get there"

Nodding his head happily, his attention turned back to the gates once again, frowning at the queue. ...which then turned to a grin despite himself. "It shouldn't be too long."

"Yeah," Sasuke nodded, "It's okay though, I don't mind waiting"

Finally turning his back to the gates, Naruto moved round to stand in front of Sasuke, facing him properly. "We have to pack today too so we can go to move in with dad."

"Oh right.," Sasuke blinked,"That's today...yeah, I knew that"

"You know, you can come stay in my room too if you want? There's a spare bed in there." If there were other rooms, he didn't know. Other than the few rooms he'd used before he left, Naruto hadn't taken much of a chance to look round.

Now what Naruto just said, definetely caught his interest, "Hmm. Your room, huh? Sure, maybe I will..."

A grin, and Naruto stepped forward, a feeling of nervousness beginning to appear. However, within seconds, it was being replaced, instead his feet moving foward as he pressed a brief kiss on Sasuke's lips. "It's gonna be great. I'm sure of it." As long as things remained as they were of course.

A smile came to Sasuke's face as Naruto kissed him, "Mm, I guess. Just as long as you're gonna be there too" He paused, moving closer slightly, as he wrapped his arms around Naruto, and kiss him again.

Blinking in suprise, it wasn't long before his own arms moved round Sasuke in response, content to even be allowed that close. "I'll be there whenever you need me to." Even if that meant having to cut back on certain other events.

Sasuke reluctantly pulled away from the kiss, and looked up at Naruto, "Yeah, I know you will..."

Now if only things could stay th-- ...... Wait. What was he thinking again? It had to have been nothing important. Glancing over toward the zoo gates, Naruto shrugged. It was only the first day the zoo had been open, and already half the city seemed to have turned up. Which meant... "Wanna go somewhere else?" Where, he had no idea.

Sasuke shrugged, "Yeah, sure I don't mind"

Now the question was, where could they go? If it was his choice, he wanted somewhere quiet. Which in itself meant having to leave the center. So how about... "Xanadu?"

Sasuke nodded, "Yeah, sure that's a good idea"

"...gotta move though." The only bad things about it all. He was happy and content to simply stand there with Sasuke, but he doubted they'd be able to stay there all day. "I wanna stay like this."

Sasuke laughed, he released his grip around Naruto, only to move his hand to hold the others "Yeah, I guess we do....you still want to go?"

"I wanna go somewhere we can just...hang out." Which could be almost anywhere, in theory. Just as long as they wouldn't be interupted or told to leave.

"Well, since most of the city seems to here, I don't think many people would be at the Xanadu,I think we can do that over there" Sasuke smiled, "Let's just get out of here first, though"

"'kay." Of course he'd agree. If it meant he could spend more time around the other, he would. Sure, he knew that he hadn't seen much of the others since he'd gotten back, but at the moment, that didn't matter to him. He was happy enough as it was.

"Okay, let's go then" With Naruto along side him, they escaped the crowd and started to walk in the direction of the Xanadu.

Making their way through the streets, Naruto's mind remained on the plans for the day. Once they'd taken the opportunity to just relax, then there was the move to sort out. After that, things would just settle. They had to.

Sasuke remainded silent as they walked towards their destination, which soon appeared in sight.

His eyes widened in suprise at the park ahead of them. His eyes followed the downpour of petals that seemed to be coming from nowhere, a large tree in the distance seeming to be the source of them all. ...and something about it felt weird. "Let's go down that end." Namely as far away from the Sakura tree as possible.

Sasuke looked in the direction Naruto was looking at and smiled, "Yeah, sure..."

Grinning happily, Naruto led the way inside the park, his hand refusing to let go of Sasuke's. As expected the place was practically empty, save for the few creatures that were busy scurrying around the grounds.

Sasuke followed behind Naruto, still holding his hand as they walked through, merely watched the scenery around them as they walked further inside.

Only one the falling petals began to even out did Naruto begin thinking of looking for somewhere to sit. Perhaps he was being overly cautious, but something really felt off about the other end of the park. Well, nothing to worry about now. Hopefully. "Over there!" He pointed toward a small patch of trees, their branches large enough for them to sit up there comfortably enough. "Then people can't bug us either."

"Hm, yeah that's true..." He looked towards the trees Naruto was pointing to, and made his way over to them along with Naruto.

Only once they'd reached the base of the tree did Naruto finally let go of Sasuke's hand. Jumping quickly up onto the nearest branch, he took a look round quickly, trying to spot one good enough for the two of them. "Come on," he finally said, grinning down at Sasuke, before leaping onto a higher branch and taking a seat against the trunk.

He looked up, and jumped onto the branch nearby and quickly followed after Naruto, sitting next to him.

Pulling his leg round onto the other side of the branch, Naruto turned to face Sasuke properly. "Yanno, it was a weird way to find out, but I'm glad yesterday happened." Namely the random confession that had appeared the previous morning.

Sasuke nodded,"Yeah. I'm glad it did too. I don't think I would have said anything about it to you otherwise..."

"Y'didn't have to be worried about tellin' me yanno." Arm reaching out, Naruto made offered a hand to Sasuke, wanting to pull the Uchiha into a seat in front of him. He just simply wanted to be close to the other. It was one of the few places he seemed to be able to find comfort in.

Sasuke took Naruto's hand, as he moved closer to him. He shook his head, and found himself laughing slightly "It wasn't anything like that, you always meant a lot to me, always have...but it just took a while for me to actually admit to myself how I really felt about you, you know? Especially since I was so focused on going after my brother, I just made myself ignore it"

Arms moved automatically, coming to wrap around Sasuke as he pulled him close. His head rested on his shoulder as he spoke, despite his gaze drifting across the flowers below. "So you only worked it out yesterday?" he asked, clearly amused at it all.

Sasuke sighed, and put his arms around Naruto as well, turning his gaze to the other who was currently resting his head on his shoulder "...I don't know. I guess so"

"Y'worked it out though. That's all that matters really." A grin. "And you told me too." Which meant that they'd been able to reach the stage they were at now. They were both...in love.

Sasuke smiled, "Yeah, and I'm glad they worked out too"

A tightening of his arms was his only response as he relaxed against the other. This was...nice. Being able to just relax with Sasuke, not having to worry about someone or something trying to attack either of them. And he was planning to enjoy every moment of it.

Feeling Naruto tighten his arms around his, he kissed Naruto on the cheek, and relaxed against him, feeling happy just being being with Naruto like this.

Nuzzling Sasuke's neck a little, he smiled lazily. "...love you..." The more he said it, the more the simple word seemed to fit. He may've not known exactly how or why, but he at least knew what it was.

He smiled, shifted slighty, tightening his arms around Naruto "...love you too"
