Summary; Dexter and Rudy get to know each other better with a night together. A movie - or perhaps some music?

Dexter hadn't been thinking straight since Rudy, or Brian, as he knew him, came to the city. How could it be that someone he thought was gone for good-knew was gone for good, still walked and talked like nothing ever happened to him?
And for some reason, forgave his brother for doing un-thought of things to him. Dexter didn't understand, but didn't question it, because in all honesty, he liked spending time with Rudy, his brother, his only true friend.
Dexter stopped to rent a movie on his way home to his apartment, where he knew Rudy would be waiting. He picked up some horror films that featured serial killers; comedies in his eyes. He was sure his brother would enjoy them too.
Letting out a deep breath, he opened the door to his apartment. "Brian? You here?"
