Log; On-Going

When; February 5th, late afternoon
Rating;PG-13
Characters; Kikyou [ [livejournal.com profile] mikodono ] & Inuyasha [ [livejournal.com profile] no_ear_touching ]
Summary; Kikyou and Inuyasha meet after awhile to discuss things.
Log;

Kikyou sat, her back against the cherry tree, watching the endless pink colored petals rain down. The xanadu had proven to be a somewhat comfortable dwelling, though the constant ticking was bothersome. However, she tried not to focus on it so much, as her thoughts drifted from her current situation to the situation that awaited her back in her era. She could only hope that her Shikigami were successful in keeping the boy safe. Naraku had been elusive lately but she was certain that he was lurking about, waiting for the right time. She had to get back, somehow...Stop him, and end it. If only she could figure out how she got here.

As all these thoughts lingered about, one soon came into focus all above the others. Inuyasha. How long had it been since their last meeting? Not since she had purified the miasma that had struck the monk. She frowned slightly, at the memory. She had misled him then, but it had been requested of her. Gazing out into the distance, she continued to wait. Soon, he would be here.

As soon as he'd heard that Kikyou was here, Inuyasha had been in a hurry to find her. He could smell her familiar scent long before he reached Xanadu - and he had to admit that he'd definitely missed it.

Kikyou.

He raced to Xanadu as fast as he could, running over the trees in some places to land in front of the woman who he could never really keep.

He managed to slow his breathing to normal, even though his heart was racing. It was kind of annoying, really. He hated that kind of thing.

He found Kikyou immediately and walked over to her, appearing as aloof and stand-offish as ever.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," he offered.

[[OOC: No, seriously. I'm sorry! I didn't see your comment in my email until now. O_o]]
