Log: Ongoing
When; Feb 6, Midnight
Rating; So far PG due to drinking
Characters; Zaheela [
henkonasuisho], Faye [
glock30], Anko [
abandoned_pawn] Open to others as well
Summary; It's past midnight and some people need a drink without the noise. So head over the Pandora's
Log;
Zaheela nodded slightly as she walked past the hostess and into the darkened bar area. Taking a seat on one of the high chairs, she flagged down the bartender. She quickly scanned over the menu and ordered a small appetizer plate and a strawberry Martini. The Bartender left with an appreciative look, noting the dark blue, low necked, button down shirt and black slacks she had worn. Opting to keep her hair up in a loose pony tail, she blew one of the shorter strands of her her bangs out of her face in annoyance. Perhaps it would of been better to of have bound her chest once again, but right now, Zaheela didn't care much. Let the men oogle all they liked, she wasn't in the mood for it.

Heh, at least she looks like she can handle herself down here
Anko couldn't help but smirk appreciatively at the way the other woman held herself. Despite her looks, her posture and the way that she carried herself were both keys that she was no stranger to fighting, and the somewhat defiant look she glared at a couple of the men who got a bit too close was downright amusing. It was nice to see another one who wasn't just a pretty face.

It took a little longer than expected to find Pandora's, but she liked it as soon as she stepped in, and she spotted Zaheela straight away, ducking through a few tables and making her way over to the other girl. Zaheela was easy to spot and Faye was pleased to note that she wasn't under or overdressed, going by what her companion was wearing. Faye still had her white boots on, but she'd opted instead for a pair of blue jeans and a low-cut sweater underneath her bomber jacket, if only because it was cold.
Tapping her on the shoulder, Faye pulled back a chair next to her, saying, "So what's your pleasure?"

"Something light for now, perhaps something with a little more kick later. Oddly enough, I'd think that getting drunk right now is not the best of ideas." She responded off handedly, taking one of the toasted Ravioli triangles and nibbling on it.
"As long as it has a fruit base to it, otherwise I can't ignore the taste." She added, taking a sip of her drink.

She glanced up at the other two women, one eyebrow raised.
"Not if you're tryin' to outrun some memories. It never works as well as the harder shit."
Picking up a slice of fried daikon from her own plate, she munched on it thoughtfully, seeming perfectly at home wearing the relative little that she normally did, tan trench-coat brushing the ground.

She cocked an eyebrow in response and said, "That only usually works for twenty-four hours. The twelve hours that you're drunk and the twelve that you're glued to a bed from the hangover. But, since we're talking hard liquor here, you have a preference?"
She seemed to be the only one, for once, that wasn't hungry, so she busied herself by separating some of the pretzels into piles by shape while they waited for their drinks.

"Fruity or not, it still is something which in large enough amounts, could make a person drunk. Besides, I'm here to drink, not go home with some strange man and wind up in his bed just because I got drunk. A buzz is fine, but I'll keep my wits." She snapped, her ears flattened against her skull.
"Can't help it if I'm not one for burning. Besides, I don't really think drinking my bloody brains out will help me with my fucking male based problems." She almost snarled, her finger tapping against the wood of the bar. Maybe it was the stress, or the very fact that she was irritated, but she really didn't care for someone commenting on her drink choice.

"True, but sometimes oblivion is a nice place to be. As for drinks...Yeah, actually. Try this."
She raised one hand in silent protest at Zah's animosity.
"Hey, no offense intended. You just looked like you had some pretty nasty things on your mind that you wanted to get rid of. As for ending up with strange men, you look like the sort of girl who can hold your own against anything that bothers you."
Catching the bartender's eye, she narrowed her gaze and pointed to the now-empty bar in front of her.
"You. More. NOW."

Before she had a chance to take a drink of whatever it was she had just been handed, Faye's ordered drink arrived. She took a good gulp of that and said to Zaheela, "Depends on the drink, I guess, and how it's made. And as for your stunning determination not to end up with a guy tonight, well... good. I wouldn't wanna have to start a bar fight for the sake of a fellow drinking partner."
Faye watched her ears flatten with some interest but merely shrugged and took another drink, listening while the other two argued.

"Are you quite sure about that? Bar fights could be fun with the right partners. After all, what guy could take EITHER of us down?" She almost purred, her ears flicking back and forth, a sign of her partial amusement. She leaned back and shrugged to the sudden addition to their drinking party. She sniffed at the drink and almost couldn't hold back her cringe. There had to be enough alcohol in there to even get HER drunk, high tolerance and all.
"Dragons, demons, wannabe pimpbirds, All of them have their weak points I suppose. Besides, without a clear mind, not too sure of who'd I throw over the counter, as my friend here has alluded to." She cocked her head to the seat by them.
"Why not join your fellow ladies instead of forcing us to raise our voices?"

Anko laughed and nodded, sliding her chair down towards the other two women.
"Well why not? Might be nice to have some like-minded company."

She squeezed her nose shut and pinched her eyes closed, almost feeling like she had inhaled gunpowder or a literal kick in the teeth once she'd swallowed it. "Jesus Christ, what is that?!" she nearly shouted, quickly grabbing her White Russian to chase the unpleasant taste away.
no subject
"That bad huh?" She questioned Faye. "It smells like it could knock out an orc. Must be deadly strong."
She turned to their new companion.
"The name is Zaheela by the way. And you are?"
no subject
She chuckled, pulling the glass back to her and taking a sip, seemingly unbothered by the strength of it.
"Anko. Mitarashi Anko. Nice to meet you."
