Summary; The Yellow God and Alessa finally meet.
Log;

Hours passed since the Yellow God had left the Manor of Xuchilbara, and now "she" was back to meet Alessa. Noting the words of Stanley Coleman she thought to be extra careful, and to not startle the poor girl. Arriving at the manor and on the steps "she" started to knock on the doors. Loudly for such a willowy tender thing.

Vincent had retreated to his bathroom, avoiding Alessa at all costs, it seemed. It was fine with her, she wanted to avoid him just as well. The sooner Xulchibara returned, the better. He would bring this chaos to order, and everything would be all right. Till then, she was struggling to overcome her overwhelming grief at the loss of Henry....and the shock of finding the decapitated head outside of her bedroom.

The knocks on the door drifted to her ears and her feet treaded across the carpet, finally stopping in front of the door. She could sense a certain kind of power from the person on the other side of the wooden door, and she wondered who it could be. She opened the door cautiously, and blinked, her blue eyes puzzled for a moment. A woman with long dark hair and blue eyes quite like her own stood on the steps. She did not know this woman, but she felt a distinct feeling of familiarity. Her mark burned slightly in the woman's presence, but it was not the painful burning associated with Xulchibara which she had become accustomed to; it was a warm sensation, the kind of feeling she felt when her mother had hugged her and held her close as a child.

"....Can I help you...?" Alessa asked slowly, unsure of this newcomer.

Alessa's eyes widened slightly, and she moved aside quickly, her head inclining slightly in respect. "Forgive me, Yellow One, for not knowing you...." She murmured. she gestured for the god to enter their home, wondering briefly if Xulchibara would be angry at her for allowing his sibling entrance. She very well couldn't be rude, not at a time like this. She would just have to trust Lobsel Vith.

"Right...." Alessa murmured, closing the door behind them. "Vincent is busy at the moment, but if you would follow me...?" She gestured for the god to follow her down one of the corridors, passing porcelain vases containing flowers of Alessa's design, small sculptures, and paintings of the renaissance period. The persian carpet was lush under their feet, but it was still no comfort to Alessa.

She stopped in front of their - no, it was her room now, Henry was gone - room and paused for a moment. The image of Mulder's decapitated head and Walter's chilling note flashed through her head for a moment, but she shoved those thoughts aside, opening the door and motioning for the Yellow God to proceed. "I hope you do not mind meeting in here, but it is the best place for privacy, and a comforting room...for me, anyway. See the paintings on the walls?" Alessa pointed to them. "They are of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Xulchibara put them there for me...he knows it's my favorite. It's such a tragic story, but...all stories end the same, in death," she finished somewhat bitterly, then immediately regretted her words. This was her first time meeting this god, and she didn't want to insult Lobsel Vith or give off a false impression.

"Xulchibara is beautiful," Alessa pointed out. "Although other people may not think so, I think he is very beautiful...and can create beautiful things if he wants to....like these paintings."

Alessa fidgeted slightly, not entirely sure what to say to Lobsel Vith. She had been taught that Lobsel Vith was male, not female, and that he represented malice and cruelty. But here was a woman, who was kind enough so far, and comforted her slightly.

"....you're more different than I thought," she mused. "I was always taught you were male."

Alessa moved to the bed, and sat down slowly. "His aura may be diminished, but he remains," she answered in confidence. Her faith, trust, and loyalty to Xulchibara was great, and it was nearly impossible to turn her against her Red God. "He will return soon."

"I see....well, I was taught that you were...very cruel, and full of malice. That you were what made people want to hurt each other." She looked down at the floor somewhat guiltily, but reminded herself that there was two Silent Hill's. If there were two Silent Hill's, couldn't that mean that there were alternate versions of Xulchibara and Lobsel Vith? If that were so, then this Lobsel Vith must have come from the other Silent Hill. It only made sense.

"I see now that they were wrong about you."

Alessa bit her lip slightly as she said that Xulchibara was her husband. She knew she wasn't talking about the Xulchibara she knew, but she still felt a small pang of jealousy. She realized suddenly, that that was what was keeping her going. Xulchibara. Without him, she would have given up on life a long time ago. He was her strength, whether he knew it or not. She kept this newfound thought to herself, however; she guarded her mind carefully from the Yellow God's.

"...I see. So you are different. In my world, God was created for that purpose." She left that sentence at that, not intending to continue, but the words rushed out regardless. "Although now...now with Henry gone, I doubt I'll ever have children, let alone birth God."

[identity profile] alessalearnt.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
Alessa's eyebrows raised at the "dove" comment, supressing the urge to giggle in front of the Yellow One; the thought of someone calling Xulchibara "dove" to his face made her want to laugh. Only a fool would do such a thing, but it wasn't her Xulchibara she was talking about..."Xulchipaba" she called him. That made it easier to tell the difference now that their names were different. Xulchipaba belonged to Lobsel Vith, while Xulchibara....well, he wasn't hers. It was more the other way around: she belonged to him. She was his, no matter how much she may have loved Henry. It was just the way it was.

"He was my chosen...the Serpent. And I am the Reed," she said. "God cannot be born without the Serpent, according to the prophecy. Granted, the prophecy could be metaphorical, but...until Xulchibara returns and grants us guidance, I have no choice but to assume the worst....and Vincent would be right. It was all for nothing...everything." Her blue eyes grew sad, suddenly, as memories of Henry and their time together swept through her.

"I miss him," she whispered, feeling the grief build up once more.

Alessa threw herself into the god's arms, clinging to the woman as sobs raked her body. "He was...the first person...to love me...other than my mother...." She gasped, the tears flowing.

"This pain hurts so much..." She whispered, unable to speak anymore after that; she was crying too hard.

[identity profile] alessalearnt.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 06:45 am (UTC)(link)
She let all of her grief out, and cried for....she didn't know how long. She had lost track of time. She felt like the same little girl who had come home from school crying over the torture and death of her pet kitten, whose mother had held her and comforted her just as Lobsel Vith was doing now.

Gradually, she could feel her trembling subside, and her voice slowly gather strength. "Yellow One...if I may ask a favor...will you comfort me, please? Comfort me in my pain, and help me to forget...at least for a little while...?" She asked. She needed to clear her head, to be comforted. If she could have that, she could start to recover.

[identity profile] alessalearnt.livejournal.com 2007-02-14 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
"Chosen?" It wasn't really a question; she knew exactly what Lobsel Vith meant. "Chosen"....was the equivalent of Xulchibara's "Marked". She bit her lip for a moment, thinking very hard. If she received the comfort of the Yellow God, she would no longer be one of the Marked. She would be one of Lobsel Vith's Chosen, and would have turned her back on Xulchibara, and on everything Henry had died defending. Was it really worth that?

"...no," she whispered, making her decision. "No." Slowly, she rose, and crossed the room to open the door. "Forgive me for my boldness...but I must request that you depart now, before I change my mind. You understand...don't you?" She didn't want Lobsel Vith to be angry with her, but she couldn't turn her back on the Red One. She had a distinct feeling of what would happen to her if she did, and she wasn't willing to die just yet.

[identity profile] alessalearnt.livejournal.com 2007-02-14 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
Alessa sighed, running a hand through her dark hair. "It would be difficult...I do not like lying to Xulchibara, but you seem to understand just how protective he is of me. However, for your sake, I will be sure to guard my memories very carefully. He can look into my mind, but I can conceal some things from him," she admitted. For instance, Xulchibara did not know of the excursion she and Henry had taken to the Underground to kill Colin, and the pets were too frightened to even utter a single thought to the memory. They knew better.

She shut the door then, and took a deep breath. To be of the Chosen and the Marked...she would always be one of the Marked, first and foremost, but perhaps this new ally would be beneficial to her future child, who would eventually become God. The pros outweighed the cons in this, now that she knew more. She returned back to the God's side, unsure of what to say or do now. She decided to let the Yellow God take charge now.

[identity profile] alessalearnt.livejournal.com 2007-02-14 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
Relief washed over her at the god's words, and her lips felt warm at the god's contact. It wasn't the same searing heat as when Xulchibara kissed her, but it was still warm, and comfortable, like a blanket.

She blushed slightly, and answered the god, "...male, if you wouldn't mind...?" She had no prejudices against women who preferred their own gender; after all, Valerie, who reminded her so much of her mother, was deeply in love with Ruth, and Alessa loved Valerie very much. But sharing that sort of activity with another female felt strange to her, so she decided to just stick with what she knew.

[identity profile] alessalearnt.livejournal.com 2007-02-14 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
Alessa closed her eyes and forgot. She was dimly aware of the fact that she was kissing the Yellow God back, running her hands through long dark hair, but for the most part, she was acting out on instinct. This wasn't lust, or even love, it was simply a broken human going through the motions of receiving comfort from a deity.

Alessa's fingers moved nimbly to remove the god's shirt, and for a brief moment she remembered the contours of Henry's body, and a pang of grief hit her. She sighed, then closed her eyes again to just let things take its course.

[identity profile] alessalearnt.livejournal.com 2007-02-14 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
Alessa's clothing was gone - she wasn't entirely sure how or when they were removed, but she was bare now, bare before a god. She briefly wished Xulchibara were home, but kept this thought guarded so as not to offend the deity who was before her.

This was the bed that she had shared so many moments with Henry and Xulchibara...the sheets smelled like them, and she wondered briefly as she kissed the god and ran her hands down his chest, curious, if now her sheets would have the scent of Lobsel Vith on them. It was a silly thought, but it was there. She could feel her body react to the god's touch, and she didn't fight it, she let it wash over her and overcome her grief.

[identity profile] alessalearnt.livejournal.com 2007-02-14 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
She whimpered slightly, the feelings nothing new, but this god's touch was so different. Xulchibara was full of lust and searing fire, while Henry had been shy and loving. Lobsel Vith was full of purpose and...happiness...? She could feel herself starting to feel a bit better. She didn't want to cry anymore. It was as if with every kiss and every touch, her grief was slowly drifting away.

Her hands drifted down to stroke the god's dark hair, a gesture that she hoped would show Lobsel Vith that she was grateful for what the god was doing for her.

Alessa could feel the pressure building, and she cried out softly as she came. The world was dizzy for a moment, and then, as quickly as it had arrived, it faded away. She lay on her bed, panting slightly, her blue eyes blinking.

What...? Alessa found herself to be...content. She knew suddenly that Henry had found his way to Paradise, and that, when the time came and the doors opened, he would be waiting for her. They would be together again, and so there was no need for her to grieve any longer.

"Thank you...." She whispered softly, truly grateful.

[identity profile] alessalearnt.livejournal.com 2007-02-14 04:55 pm (UTC)(link)
"No...well...." Her voice drifted off. "....if you hear from Xulchibara, the one I know.....tell him to come home, please?" She sat up slowly, her body warm from the god's blessing upon her. "We miss him very much." She rose from the bed then, crossing the room to wrap herself up in a robe.

"I'll show you out," she said, wanting to be polite to the god who had just taken her grief away. She led Lobsel Vith back down the corridors to the entrance, her cheeks slightly flushed, and sadness replaced by hope in her blue eyes.
