everdreaming86 and Jareth

Summary; Sarah wakes up to a surprise.
Log;
Sunlight drifted through the bedroom window to fall upon the two sleeping figures in the bed. The clock was ticking towards noon, and it seemed as if all of the City were recuperating from their lustful doings the day before. Sarah wanted to sleep more, but something pulled her out of it. She stretched slightly, yawning and opening her eyes to greet the day. Jareth's room was filled with the light of day, and she glanced over at the sleeping Goblin King. His angular face was frozen in the peacefulness that accompanied sleep, and the light made his blonde hair shimmer like silk. She smiled at the sight, then shivered, surprised at how chilly it was. Does he have his air conditioning on? she thought, and let the bedsheets fall from her figure slightly. She froze, looked down, and suppressed a cry of shock and surprise.
No way. We didn't actually....oh god, she thought, grinding her teeth in frustration. That curse...it really WASN'T a dream. Then that means...oh man. I didn't think it would happen THIS soon... She bit her lip and turned back to her sleeping lover.
Okay, Sarah, you don't want to hurt his feelings, so act as naturally as possible. Just pretend that it's no big deal that you were cursed and it was your very first time EVER and you'll be fine, she tried to convince herself. It wasn't that she didn't care for Jareth; oh no, she loved him very much. There was just the little fact that she wasn't stupid enough to do these sort of things without proper protection. She didn't know if Jareth could understand what the implications of pregnancy meant to mortal women, and how much more complicated people's lives could become with the arrival of a newborn. She felt too young to be a mother, and prayed inwardly that no pregnancy would come from their actions.
Regardless of these panicked, apprehensive thoughts, she curled up close to him, the feel of his body still foreign to her, but at the same time not unwelcome. It was strange. Reason would have made her keep away from him, but she was attracted to him like a magnet...of course, this very well could have had something to do with the fact that she was now slightly chilly.
Everything will be fine... she reassured herself.

The previous day had been...satisfying, to say the least. The very least. It had not been so long ago that she had admitted her feelings for him, and he had acknowledged that he felt similarly. And the day before, they had proved exactly how deeply each cared for the other. Proved it several times over, actually.
"You're cold, Sarah," he murmured lazily, his voice even more drawling than normally. As he spoke, Jareth pulled her nearer, keeping an arm draped around her waist, and brought the covers closer around them. "Perhaps I could help warm you up?"
((OOC: I'm so sorry, Tiftynifty. The end of this week has been ridiculously busy. :-/ I'm hoping I'll be about from here on out, but I make no promises. D: ))

"Um..." What to talk about? For all intents and purposes, this had been her first time, really, so what were you supposed to say or act the morning after? Everyone knew what the act itself entailed, but as for what happened afterwards? She had no idea.
"Did...did you sleep good?" She asked lamely, the only thing keeping her from jumping out of the bed the cool air beyond the covers.

He let the end of the sentence hang silently in the small space between them; if she did not respond favourably, he would not push her to receive his affections. Just tease her a bit; he could feel her body radiating tension, and he didn't like it.
...Of course, verbally poking at her wouldn't solve that, but Jareth was still learning the appropriate ways to respond to Sarah.
"Yes, I slept very well," Jareth purred. "A certain minx tired me out yesterday. Did you?"
