Summary; A bored Kisame wishes for bloodshed, and Zoro is more than happy to give it to him.
Log;
Zoro unsheathed two of his swords, Sandai Kitetsu, and Nidai Yubashiri, without hesitation. However, his third sword lay untouched, for the moment. His opponent, Kisame, as he called himself, only had one sword, and, as large as it was, it didn't appear as threatening as Mihawk's blade, all wrapped up like that.

"I must warn you, Kisame. If you're hoping for bloodshed, I'm afraid I'll be spilling more of your blood than you'll be spilling mine."

Kisame grinned, and lifted his massive blade Samehada from shoulder to point it at his cocky opponent.

"Two swords, hmm? Strikes me as the choice of a person who hasnt yet mastered one."

With a grin, Kisame lifted his other hand and beckoned Zoro forward.

Zoro grinned. "If all you've ever mastered is one sword, then you have a long way to go before beating me."

Zoro lifted his right arm, positioning the sword behind his left shoulder, then twisting his body slightly, preparing to strike.

"I've mastered santoryu, the ability to wield three swords at once, yet one sword ought to be enough. San-jyuu-roku pound hou!!" With a mighty swing of Zoro's sword, the air itself seemed to be getting sliced, a powerful wave of energy soaring towards Kisame with surprising speed

Kisame grimaced. He wasnt expecting that kind of attack from a swordsman. Lifting his sword, its flat face facing his opponent, Kisame attempted to block as much of the attack as he could.

"Ha! So that's how this is going to play, is it, Zoro-san?"

Zoro didn't reply; he was already in the middle of another attack. While Kisame was busy moving his massive sword to shield, Zoro had placed his two swords on either side of his head, and was charging with insane speed.

"Ushi Bari!!"

As soon as Zoro came within rage, he struck at Kisame from either side of his Samehada.

Kisame sighed as the swords plunged into him. The weapons met very little resistance, however, as Kisame's body fell into water. From a distance, a laugh rang out.

"How stupid do you think I am, swordsman?! Do you think that I'd run headlong into a battle, not knowing what to expect?"

And with that, Kisame's true body shimmered out, and reappeared directly behind the swordsman.

Zoro looked behind him, surprised. "What?!"

A toothy grin covered Kisame's face as he lifted his sword above his head.

"One sword was more than enough to defeat you!"

With a shout, Kisame brought his Samehada down.

As quickly as he could, Zoro spun around and crossed his two swords in front of him to block Samehada. While the shark man was undoubtedly taller than him, Zoro's physical strength was enough to stave off the tall man's large sword.

"Heh..is this..all you can do?! Mihawk's sword intimidates me more than you do."

Kisame's eyes met Zoro's, and Kisame let out a yell.

"This sword doesn't cut... it SHAVES!"

With a sudden burst of energy, the shark man pulled his sword back towards him, the bandages ripping off and the swords scales clanging noisily and catching on Zoro's.

Zoro was surprised, to say the least. As the scales on Samehada started to catch on Zoro's swords, Zoro lowered his swords and lept back.

"What the hell?! That's not a sword!!"

Kisame immediately sprang forward, looking to take advantage of his opponent's apparent state of shock, and swung the mighty blade in a wide arc, hoping to catch his opponent.

Unfortunately for Kisame, Zoro wasn't so much surprised as he was pissed. Seeing the wide arc, Zoro immediately bent down as the sword swung past him, sheating his swords in the process.

"Nitoryuu Iai: Rashomon!"

In a flash, the two swords he had sheathed were unsheathed and swung, with enough force and speed to split a train in two.

And Kisame couldnt slow himself down quickly enough. Using his missed sword swing as a lever, Kisame attempted to turn himself around as quickly as possible. His quick dodge, however, couldnt protect his leg from catching the the end of the attack. On landing, Kisame struggled to stand, grimacing through the blood and pain.

"Bastard..." And with that, a quick set of hand seals began.

Zoro had had enough. Time to get serious. Unsheathing his third sword and placing it in his mouth, Zoro twisted his body for one of his most powerful attacks.

"Hyaku Hachi Pound Hou!"

Just like before, a massive burst of force was sent flying towards Kisame. However, this attack held far, far greater power in it, and came at Kisame with much greater speed than the attacks that preceded it.

"You're a one trick pony, Zoro! Suiton: Suiryƫdan no Jutsu!"

The water that had once been a body double for Kisame rose up in the form of a dragon, and shot towards the swordsman's attack like lightning.

Kisame underestimated Zoro's powers. The two attacks clashed, and both were nullified in an instant. Instead of moving in to attack again, however, Zoro resumed his pissed-off demeanor.

"What the hell was that?! I thought this was a sword fight!"

Kisame stood, and hefted his sword back to his shoulder.

"I was under that impression as well."

Popping his neck, Kisame then pulled his sword back to his side.

"Let's try this again!" And with that, Kisame was off, charging his opponent with ferocity.

"Fine. Let's."

As Kisame charged towards him, Zoro set his swords in front of him in a bent L-shape, then slowly started to turn them. No more playing games with this fish-headded-freak.

"Sanzen Sekai!"

Running at full speed, Zoro thrust all three swords at Kisame with blinding speed.

Kisame reacted instantly, and thrust his razor sword into the spinning blades, all the while still charging forward.

As Kisame thrust his sword into the attack, Zoro's swords punctured right through it's large body.

"I've cut down a man made of metal. You think I can't cut this sword down, too?"

Quickly, Zoro began to spin his body and blades, cutting through Samehada and catching Kisame within a whirlwind, slicing him to shreds and cutting Samehada in pieces.

"Tatsumaki!!!"

Kisame roared as his body was sliced and his sword fell to pieces for the second time in the city. Quickly forcing his hands together, Kisame through a quick succession of hand seals.

"Suiton: Suijinheki!", and with that, and pillar of water shot from the ground and encased Kisame.

Zoro evaded the attack just in time, yet held his swords firm. He didn't know what was going on, but he didn't want to be caught off guard in case it was another aquatic assault like that water dragon.

Kisame stood still and thought while the water swirled around him, protecting him from any attack. He didn't know exactly how to handle this situation, but he wouldn't get anywhere doing nothing. On the other side of the barrier, a foot exploded out, launching a kick aimed directly at Zoro's head.

Zoro blocked the attack with his swords, the strike pitiful in comparison to the kicks Sanji could dish out. "Is this the best you can do now?"

In a flash, three more separate kicks found themselves aimed at different parts of Zoro, all while he held the initial kick at bay with his own swords.

Zoro took the strikes, unable to guard against them, and leapt back considerably. However, just like the first, the kicks didn't do nearly as much damage as one of Sanji's kicks would have. Growing angry now, Zoro points one of his swords towards the pillar of water.

"Is that what you're reduced to, without your sword? I see little point in fighting you if this is all you can do."

Before Zoro was even done with his statement, Kisame had grabbed the hilt of his shattered sword and swung it, hoping to catch his opponent off guard. It was a desperate last swing, and Kisame put everything into it, the water wall collapsing around him.

Zoro had to act fast. Crossing his swords again, Zoro hoped to fend off the attack like before. What he hadn't counted on, however, was the force Kisame had put into his attack. Caught off guard, his swords flew out of his hands, leaving him defenseless. The sword shaved deeply into Zoro, causing him to grimace in pain, biting his teeth further into Wado Ichimonji. Gasping for air, Zoro backed away from Kisame, grabbing his other two swords in the process. He was damaged, but not beaten. If Kisame were to try to attack again, Zoro would be ready.

Kisame grinned. A success! But now wasnt the time to rest on his laurels. Time to press the attack with vigor!

Zoro simply stood there, baiting Kisame closer. What would the attack be? A swing? A thrust? A leaping strike? Zoro had to know what Kisame was going to use, in order to know the right attack to counter with.

Kisame leapt forward, the small bit of Samehada that remained held high over his head.

"Time to end this, swordsman!"

"I couldn't agree more."

Zoro quickly holds two of his swords parallel in front of him, leaps up, meeting Kisame halfway, then slashes his swords above him.

"Nitoryuu Nigiri: Tourou!"

There simply wasnt enough of his sword left to block that sort of attack... he blacked what he could, but he couldnt help but take the brunt of the attack head on. He grimaced as the swords cut into him, and struggled to push his sword against his oppoenent. No matter what happened here... this was finished when they hit the ground.

Zoro was never one to leave an opponent half-beaten. Still in mid-air, Zoro rose his swords up, then swung them down powerfully, slicing Kisame once again.

"Nitoryuu Nigiri: Outourou!"

Kisame opened his mouth to let out a yell, but the blood in his throat wouldn't allow that. And as he hit the ground, his broken sword still laying in his hand, he looked up at Zoro and grimace.

"I'd *cough* say that you've won this round, Zoro-san."

Zoro sheathed his swords, looking at Kisame calmly. He had nothing to fear from the fish-face.

"I told you I'd spill more of your blood than you'd spill mine. You fight well, Kisame. If you ever fix Samehada, I'll be glad to give you a rematch."

Kisame slowly stood up, taking what was left of Samehada and strapping it to his back. Extending a bloodied hand, Kisame nodded solemnly.

"I'd be more than happy to face you again, Zoro-san."

Zoro shook Kisame's hand honorably. If this was the type of swordsmen the City had to offer him, Zoro was going to have a very fun time here.
