[Log] [Complete]
When; February 15 [Envy Day!]
Rating; PG-13
Characters;yay for selfRP :D Akito Tenkawa [
yami_no_ouji] & Jowy [
for_destiny]
Summary; Who knew a scrawny teenager could really do stuff like that?Aka, where Akito finds out Masaki wasn't joking. XD And magic really exists! This be near the fountain~ People can have seen... yeah. :D But don't worry, those swords don't stay :D
Log;
Akito had only meant to speak with the teenager (from Masaki's description, it could only be such). He didn't like that the Black Selena had been wrecked like it was, and had been angry, but he could never possibly take it on a teenager, unless the child absolutely deserved it. Nevertheless, he brought his gun with him. It was a habit of his and never could leave to go anywhere without it kept snugly underneath his dark robes. He made sure to have quietly disconnected from Lapis too, as a simple precaution should things get ugly (which he really doubted, Masaki had a way of annoying everyone he smiled at). It took some clever tracking with the Black Selena's computer, which was left miraculously in tact despite the amount of holes that had been done on it, before he found the blond boy. Jowy was a child, by all means, and he looked far too small clad in layers of winter wear. Must have been the type to eat little.He approached him carefully, mind noting the landmarks about them -- the fountain, some buildings, some establishments. There weren't many people about, and Jowy didn't look like he was hiding many swords inside his clothes. He was carrying a stick - a staff, Akito realized, but beyond that, he supposed he either had to buy Masaki's words about the child having magic or believe Masaki was bluffing. Again. Considering how it was Masaki who painted his mecha green, he was leaning on the latter. "Are you Jowy?"The blond child, whose hair was far too long -- what was he? One of those effeminate manga heroes that women liked to swoon on?--, turned towards him and gave him a wary look before answering. "I am, and you are, sir?" Akito's eyes twitched at the way the kid used the word sir on him -- taken out of context, it would be a sign of respect, but that tone was anything but respectful. Defiant.
"Tenkawa Akito," the Aestivalis pilot replied flatly and under his robes, his right hand was already fingering the hilt of his gun. "You were the one who damaged my mech--"
"That person's friend?" Jowy interrupted suddenly, before breaking into a charming smile. "It was an accident. It was right beside my target--" He paused and waved his right hand about. Gloved. "I'm not too experienced with my rune yet... are you here because you want revenge?" "No," Akito began but Jowy cut him off again."It must be nice to have friends who would avenge you.... I envy that guy."
"Would you stop being dramatic?" Akito said dryly. "I want to know what you used-- If Masaki was lying. Or not."
Jowy stared at him for a while and seemed to be thinking, and then he broke into a smile again. "Is that envy...?" Akito decided then that Jowy was hit by today's curse, but decided to say nothing as he listened on. "It wasn't that guy at all, I did it. My rune is powerful enough, isn't it?" The boy's gentle face dissolved into an angry frown as he held his right hand closer to himself. "You can't have it.""I don't want it.""You envy me!" Jowy yelled. He raised his right hand towards him and on instinct, Akito pulled out his gun. He had had to acknowledge the existence of impossible things, especially after being pulled into the city. Things like magic, swords, and all other resident plot devices from manga and anime. He had never quite seen it first hand however and when the child's right hand began glowing of a sinister red and black light, when red light imprisoned him in a jewel-like case and swords appeared from above the child, all Akito could think of was Out. He had to get away. Or he was going to get skewered. How had Masaki survived? Instinct. He closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, Jowy was screaming in outrage and he was out, away and briefly saw the swords impale the ground before dissappearing. He followed his instinct, pointed his gun at the blond and shot.
He didn't know if he had hit the blond boy -- maybe he did, on the shoulder, probably, if not the leg. He trusted his accuracy, but just then, there was a rain of dark swords from above. Where on earth did those swords come from? He could barely dodge them, and once or twice, he was able to recreate the miracle he had done earlier (boson jumping) but not enough to keep him from being pinned to the ground with the swords. He didn't feel anything. Maybe weak. He was bleeding on the pavement. Jowy gave him a look and looked disturbingly satisfied of himself before disappearing out of view. The swords didn't stay (they disappeared, curiously, like magic), but Akito could have been pinned to the ground as well. He tried to lift his body to no avail and growled. So much for being better than Masaki. He needed to find a healer before Lapis found him.
[ooc; Um. Um. Um. I think we needs a healer. He doesn't feel a thing, but that doesn't mean he's okay ^^;]
