Log;

He was fuming. He was positively enraged, ready to kick something—anything—until it shattered into dust at his feet. He had enough common sense not to do that to Merry or anything on her, but he was very nearly storming down to the store for a new pack or two of cigarettes and Heaven forbid anyone from keeping them away.

The store clerk, unaffected by the day's curse, generously handed over five packs before Sanji could break something, but the sweet taste of nicotine in his system didn't help the blond man any. Hands in pockets, shoulders hunched, he started down the street towards the forest again, glaring furiously at the crowds around him.

And then he froze in his step at the sight of an all-too-familiar face with a name that made his blood boil every time it was thought or uttered. Jyabura. What the hell was that wolf doing, daring to show himself to the cook?

Jyabura was not really affected by today's curse and maybe it wouldn't make too much of a difference anyways as he always had a very bad temper. He behaved a bit bitchy towards Robin who was staying with him in his apartment at the moment, but compared to what this curse could have done to him... Compared to him Robin had enough patience to deal with it and would hopefully not mind too much.

He decided to take a walk for half an hour or something, annoyed by his snappy behaviour by himself and to clear his head a bit. Alas this tranquility didn't last all too long, when the second worst person that could ever cross his way did exactly this. The goddamn fucking pirate cook. Jyabura was affected. Very much. And only looking at Sanji was enough to make him feel like he was suddenly on fire on the inside, his mind only concentrating towards one thing - kill this bastard, bite his limbs off and tear him apart. Right now.

He didn't waste any time. Within a few seconds the changed into his half-wolf form, using Soru to shorten the distance between him and his prey and biting towards him to tear off whatever he could catch, on guard with Tekkai. He didn't forget their first fight.

The kick hit him with an iron sound and burned away a good tad of fur too until his bare skin. Not that fucking fire-thing again. It burned, but didn't break the tekkai. The wolf ignored the pain with clenched teeth and contered quickly by burrying all five claws of one hand using shigan into the cook's chest.

"Yeah, enjoy my company as long as you're still alive!" he snarled and dashed him to the floor, driving his claws deeper into his flesh that way.

Being the only member of CP9 to use tekkai and move at the same time, the crashing didn't hurt him too much, though the kick on the chest cut of his breath and it fucking burned. Dizzy he rolled back on his feet and uselessly tried to make the burning vanish, the smell of his own flesh being literally roasted drove him mad. Bastard. You're not the only one with a hell of a kick.

He jumped out of the crashed rests of whatever this has been once using geppou and shortened the distance between them again, landed close to Sanji and striked out for a rankyaku that tore up the asphalt beneath them.

Just timely enough he lifted up his arm to parry the kick. Tekkai was really extremely useful as it lowered the pain of the attacks a whole lot. Alas tekkai meant flesh imitating iron, not actually being it, so the man's kick smashed him away fairly good and burned.

Again he landed on his feet, not that far away this time, and glared over to his opponent with bared fangs and a deep growl. Jyabura was fed up of this burning thing. The cook didn't use his hands anyways, so it was about time to get rid off those damn legs. He also promised him this explicitely.

Out of a crouch he leaped towards Sanji, aiming with his jaws at the leg that was not flaming.

Under a constant growling the wolf clenched his jaws around the cook's leg, dragging and pushing it around like mad, the taste of blood only fueling him and the feeling of torn muscles and broken bones under his teeth putting him into sheer euphoria.

He tried to resist the kicks. Though, the kicks weren't the problem, Jyabura was used to take it, even if Sanji's kicks were by far extraordinary. It was the burn, the stupid fucking burn. He growled and hissed with every kick, close to lose his mind of the fiery pain, but simply refused to let him go, instead giving the cook hateful glares out of amber eyes.

If he managed to bite off Sanji's leg, he'd bleed to death. Jyabura just had to find a way to accomplish this before he literally burned alive.

Robin really had a bad feeling about this. It was a curse day and she had gotten into an argument with Sanji; while Jyabura had left the apartment. The slight problem was that Sanji had also left rather abruptly and the last thing she wanted to happen now was that those two ran into each other on a curse day like this.

She hastily made her way past bickering, fighting people who were also affected and prayed that she would find either Sanji or Jyabura before they could meet. However, sounds of things breaking and people being thrown around caught her attention as she passed a side-street. Curious about this certain fight that was destroying so many things, she paced towards the place where the sounds were coming from and immediately froze on the spot as she saw who were wreaking havoc all over the street.

At first, she was too shocked to do anything; since the one thing that she had feared the most had actually happened, but she recovered rather quickly. Now fully aware of the scene she was witnessing, she made no hesitations as she crossed her arms and muttered "Treinta Fleur" while thirty arms appeared on the two fighters to pull them apart.

"Making sure that you two don't kill each other," she snapped back at him, still a bit angry after the things he had said. She didn't care if she was bringing herself in danger like this, as long as she could keep them apart until they calmed down. Which wasn't until midnight, but ah, even if she had to watch over them like she was their mother, she wasn't going to give them another chance of harming each other again.

She pinned Sanji to the ground, careful not to make his leg injury any worse while new arms pulled Jyabura to the other side of the street. Robin walked over to them and halted in the middle of the street, Jyabura at one side and Sanji at the other. "Both of you aren't going any further than this."

The first few seconds he had no idea what was going on, suddenly something pulled him around and pinched him all over, dragging him away from his prey. Pure luck didn't make him bite after all those hands, instead he simply tried to wipe them off until he realized what the hell this was.

The wolf's fur ruffled up in shock and he gave Robin a surprised look, having completely forget about her. The curse didn't affect any anger towards her, fortunately they sorted out their problems only a few days ago. Otherwise, he had no idea what could have happened.

His look swinged back and forth between Robin and Sanji, overwhelmed by confusion and let himself pull around, but he growled angered at the cook when he dared to yell at her.

[identity profile] blackhibiscus.livejournal.com 2007-02-18 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)
"You can't tell me what to do," she said calmly, while she retreated her hands from both of them. She was glad that Sanji had decided not to fight Jyabura anymore, but it still hurt that he was acting this way, even under a curse. Although she had no idea if Jyabura was prone to continuing the fight, she felt that Sanji's respect for her decision was enough. Without a word she approached Sanji to look at his leg -- as it looked like it had been close to being ripped off. It worried her that they could do such things to each other when she wasn't around.

[identity profile] maten-rou.livejournal.com 2007-02-18 07:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Jyabura was angry. Very angry. Angry because the fight has been interfered, angry because that bastard cook dared to call him names while he was in this condition and angry because Robin seemingly cared about the cook more than about him. His anger fed on envy, which wasn't the best combination.

The closer Robin approached the cook, the louder he snarled with grit teeth and when she reached Sanji, he snapped his jaws towards them out of frustration, yet still standing where he was and fighting to not lose his mind, which was hard enough with the pulsing pain of burns on his body.

[identity profile] blackhibiscus.livejournal.com 2007-02-18 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Paying no attention to Jyabura's furious sounds for now, Robin sat back on her heels and examined Sanji's leg with both curiosity and worry. That really needed to be tended to, judging by the fact that it was almost completely ripped apart. She closed her eyes for a moment, sighed and got up -- turning around on her heels to walk over to Jyabura on the other side of the street.

"Stop making that angry face before I do anything, please," she said, while stopping right in front of him; putting her hands on her side and looking up at him with a hard stare. If anyone would walk into the street right now, they'd see an annoyed woman commanding a huge wolf-hybrid around like it was perfectly normal. A strange scene indeed.

[identity profile] maten-rou.livejournal.com 2007-02-18 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
It was even stranger because the werewolf backed off a few steps from a woman that would barely reach his stomach if she tried to stretch out as much as she could to touch it. Really, he could tear her apart within a second without much ado.

He stopped when Robin stopped, fur ruffled up and the tail swishing over the floor nervously. He returned her look, it was a typcial wolfish gesture, and if his eyes could change color, they'd immediately turn into envy-green. Instead he bared his fangs without making a sound, the muzzle was still blood stained.

"I'm hurt too!" he suddenly spat out like an angered kid that felt great injustice upon him.

"I can see that," she said, eyes softening a bit while she looked at his injuries with a painful expression. She didn't know how much stronger Sanji had gotten since their last fight -- heck, she didn't even know what had happened in their previous fight, but it looked like Jyabura had been thoroughly burned. It made her wonder about Sanji's new attack he had been talking about. "Now please calm down for a bit."

[identity profile] maten-rou.livejournal.com 2007-02-18 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
What he did now could be interpreted as rolling his eyes and an annoyed sigh, it was hard to tell. At least he sat down on the spot, making the distance between him and her not really smaller though.

"Fiiine..." he growled and looked over to the cook. Seems like that bastard needed the more urgent help and Jyabura knew he couldn't make Robin leave without taking somehow care of that pirate scum. He'd watch them and not even a whispered word would be overheard by his ears. He wouldn't leave that place without her, dead sure.

[identity profile] blackhibiscus.livejournal.com 2007-02-18 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Robin turned around as she heard Sanji get up rather painfully and she quickly sprouted some hands to support him. Ignoring Jyabura she returned to Sanji's side, hoisting one arm over her shoulders as she watched his injured leg with a worried look. Maybe Isane could help him... the hospital would do him no good; it'd take too long and he would probably keep damage forever like that. Any healer with magical powers seemed like a good option right now.

[identity profile] blackhibiscus.livejournal.com 2007-02-18 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)
"I see," she said, following his gesture with her eyes. "Let's go there, then. I'm sure she'll help you."

Robin looked at Jyabura for a moment, feeling bad about the fact that she couldn't really do anything now that Sanji was in this state; but his wounds weren't as bad as the cook's. And at this point, she worried more about Sanji's wellbeing than Jyabura's, as much as she hated to admit it.

[identity profile] maten-rou.livejournal.com 2007-02-18 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Jyabura hated this situation so very much, though he saw it coming. Envy and anger started to burn inside of him once more, but he repressed it. Let's see it this way, he sort of won this fight as he could still walk on his own. That was definitely a plus.

Slowly he got up and approached them, still keeping a distance to not get overwhelmed by the urge to finish what he has started with the fucking cook. The clacking of his claws was the only sound he made as he made clear this way he will not leave those two alone again, under any circumstances. Oh, and a bit healing for himself could be useful too.
