Log;
She was coming. Emerald hair fell in crimson eyes as he made his way calmly up the stairs of the large building he had been granted. It had been a spot of luck that name, He had planned on getting this island through more forceful means, but sometimes only a word or two was needed. He didn’t like those deities, didn’t like them at all. They had more control then he, and it made him uncomfortable. Once he got his true body, he would make sure they knew their place. He grinned lightly, stepping out on the windowsill, and swung himself up onto the shingled roof. Alexiel Alexiel Alexiel, I am waiting...
After handing one of her bracelets to DS (a gold band with sapphires and opals) to deliver it to Siran as token thanks, Alexiel walked across the City dressed in her white, battle clothes and brown mask and cloak. She stopped by the edge of the woods to spread three of her white wings and soared up the sky. She flew as fast as light, making no sound, leaving no trail but fluttering white feathers that swirled on the air. The island was not too far from the beach, the Great Organic Angel reached the place in seconds. She flew over it, taking the landscape, the life forms and geography with her violet gaze. Then, at last, studied the construction at the edge of the island, noticing the angelic aura on the rooftop.
Sandalphon. Alexiel kept her position, minding Nanatsusaya at her reach. This was the first time she had direct contact with this angel.
The six winged angel looked up, his expression calm as a small smile quirked up the corners of his lips. He stood up from where he had been lounging, one foot up on the arch of the attic windows, lounding forward, hand on knee. He knew who it was, having felt the same aura from the infuriating messiah when he had last met him back in their own world. Unless the fool had decided to come in her place, there was no doubt that it was Alexiel. It drove him mad that he couldn’t find the little bastard, but for now, he'd have to settle with his current plans before dealing with him. "Welcome!" He called out, his voice self assured, almost mocking. He spread his arms out, as if showing that he was unarmed. Oh but that was never the case with him. "Do come down Alexiel, I'll give you a Tour~"
Alexiel looked down, staring at him with her cold and serene gaze. She would like to come face to face with Sandalphon but wasn’t going to touch his house. She was certain the angel would have prepared a cagebird and trap to keep her there. Diving to fly just ten meters above him, Alexiel paused there and spoke without rush. “I said I wouldn’t set a foot and I won’t, Sandalphon. Your island is pleasant, you should be happy with the deity’s generosity.”
"Very happy. Dissapointed though, that you will not take advantage of my generosity." he smiled a little to himself, tilting his head so his hair fell over one eye. "My intentions are purely innocent." He placed his hands in his pockets again, walking a few steps to stand ontop of the window arch. "Why all the cover Alexiel, Afraid I might eat your face or something?" He teased. He seemed very self assured, calm, but his eyes every so often strayed to her hip, as if expecting a certain sword to come flying out at any minute.
Alexiel gave a light shrug, unwilling to move an inch closer. “If you are so set on give me a tour, come up here, Sandalphon,” she said with an expressionless voice. “You made that sound as an impossible joke,” the Organic Angel pointed out seriously. Rosiel had eaten her in a way, when he needed a fairer form. She had accepted but it was still a painful and horrible process.
"Suit yourself." He was uncomfortable in using his powers at the moment. Without a body with his own DNA, or Metatron to feed off of, using his powers would mean the untimely rotting of this form. He was not about to waste the body until he got hold of his new mother, and had security in it. "Just came to take a glimpse at my new home is it, or was there something you wanted, Oh organic Angel." he gave her a little mocking bow, walking back and forth across the arch of the roof, his balance superb. "An Eye for an Eye perhaps."
“I don’t want any of your eyes,” Alexiel replied with a strained voice. She paused, approaching to land. “Since you’re afraid to fly to me, I will fly to you,” the Organic Angel commented with neutrality. Her wings vanished when her feet touched the roof, as they were unnecessary to keep. She would not set a foot on his land but the house did not count. There was no barrier, not yet, set to cage her. It was wise she hadn’t wasted time to journey here. “I came to see this island and to see you.”
He moved eyes to her, his fingers twitching. He could capture her right here, tear off her wings and make her stay. But she was still cloaked, her hands still hidden, the Nanatsusaya could be in there. He did not wish to lose his hands, or any other body part, to be driven back by that damn sword until he knew how to get around it. Alexiel, She was his greatest goal, and yet would be the greatest challenge. "To see me? How sweet, How I love visitors." He murmured, keeping his distance, watching her neatly as he walked around the side of one small tower, and then back around, crimson eyes watching her. "If I didnt know better, I'd think you fond of me."
With a quick swift of her cloak, Alexiel revealed she indeed had the Nanatsusaya with her and with her wings hidden, she was lacking any weak spot he could attack. The Organic Angel approached Sandalphon with an unreadable expression, chasing him to face the angel off into an eye level. She was not afraid or intimidated by his antics or expressions. In a second, she removed her mask and hood, showing she had nothing to hide beneath layer. Unlike her brother (or Setsuna in her body), she didn’t apply make-up. “I’m sorry. That’s what I came to say, to you, in person.”
He stiffened visibly at first, the sword in sight, before he relaxed, stuffing his hands back in his pockets. "Sorry? Guilt? Sympathy? Pity?" He kept his distance, but didn’t draw her eyes away from her, crimson calculating. "It seems strange that you would come all the way out here for that. Are you sure there's not another reason?" He stepped to the side, circling her slowly, sizing her up. "At all Alexiel?"
Alexiel followed his motions. She was still one of the best warriors of Heaven and Hell, it wouldn’t be easy to take her by surprise. Even Lucifer was slow against her reflexes. “Remorse,” she remarked, shaking her head in negative. “That is all I have to say, Sandalphon. I could have killed my brother in the second war, I could have changed the course of the experiments for you and Metatron. But I didn’t and the four of us suffered the consequences. For that, I’m sorry.”
"So you are saying, In fact, that you are my mother." He murmured, walking around easily, relaxed, eyes locked. "You are the reason I am as I am. You should take care of your mistakes. Right them." He smiled, walking away from her, amazingly, putting his back to her as he walked towards the tree that hung beside the building, plucking a flower from it.. "Give me a body. A life outside this monstrosity." He looked back at her, lightly offering the flower to her, innocent present.
Alexiel took the flower and tucked it on her brown hair. She shook her head, “No, I’m not your mother. I didn’t create you, Sandalphon,” she said. “I was told a tragedy might happen between you and Metatron, just like happened between my Rosiel and I.” She elaborated further. “I was never told the details, or what was about the project.” She paused. “You’ll never get a body, Sandalphon. We and our twins are trapped into the fate God deemed us to live.” It was a sad reflection but it had to be said. He was supposed to don’t have a body, Metatron was supposed to be a child controlled by others, Rosiel rotted and she would never find peace, her body bound her to life.
He watched her lightly, the petals of the flower pulling back just slightly, a crimson eye shifting inside of it, pupil shifting up and over before it closed again unnoticeably. "The fate God deemed me is to remake this world as my own. It was not God who locked me in that tube, it was not God who filled me full of pins, trapped me, tested me, sealed me away. It was angels, selfish, disgusting, terrified angels who rather then trying to help their new god, the hid me away, restricted me. It was not fair." He narrowed his eyes at her. "Noonoe is controlled by others, one can always make their life better. They have a choice, I have a choice, I will not allow myself to be restricted by the ideals of a dead god."
“Those were the lies God fed you with,” Alexiel said, solemn and a touch sad. “Just like He did to my brother. He was playing with everyone, because we were his experiments.” She sighed and assented, “No, no one is controlled by others anymore. This is why I chose to not be your mother, for the good of both, God’s madness ended. I put myself away from our world, came here to put an end to it for good. My resolve won’t falter.”
"If not you then another." He shrugged, placing his hands behind his head, eyes narrowed. "Believe me Alexiel, one way or another I Will have what any living creature rightly deserves. Wether it be through you, Metatron, or maybe one of your pretty little friends, it will happen." He balled his fist. "And you will just be the one who allowed it to happen. Your presence is no longer welcome here Alexiel, unless you wish for more confrontation then conversation."
“You know very well as I do that not all women could bear a body for your soul,” Alexiel informed him, certain he knew that bit as well. She walked to the edge of the roof and inclined her head as farewell. “No, you haven’t done anything to merit confrontation here.” Not yet, anyway. “Good-bye.” She sprouted her wings and took off, leaving the island behind while the sky darkened around her. The flower that was tucked in her hair bent against the wind and slide away, falling to the sea below.
He watched her go, a frown on his lips as the wind carried the flower to him, landing lightly in his hand where the eye twisted, looked up at him, and then back at the retreating angel. He gritted his teeth, closing his hand mercilessly about the flower, blood squirting from his hand as what was contained within popped, dripping down his fingers. He threw the mess down onto the tiles of his home, the anger almost forming physically around him, red goo dripping down the shingles as he jumped down from the roof, the grass easing away from him as his true body beneath him shifted, the island groaning. Self obsessed angels... He looked down at his bloodied fingers and wiped it on his pants, eyes narrowed. No, not everyone in the city could bare a body for him, but he did know who would...
His lips slowly pulled into a smile, satisfied and almost demonic. "We'll see Alexiel, once I'm on high again, we'll see your position then..."
