Summary; Never interupt Dark!Kamui's comfy couch time.
Log;
Nill was a bit exausted, the picnic had been extremely fun, learning how to swim and such. It had all been a new experience for the girl. To end the day she had planned on visiting Miss Naoto. She closed her eyes, making her way to the apartment buildings and towards the familiar door.
Nill kept her eyes closed, wondering what it was like for Bishop, since he was a blind priest. She opened her eyes preparing to knock, but then she noticed the door number. The girl hadn't gone to Naoto's apartment...she had arrived at Kamui's instead.
Nill stood there silent, as if she could be any other state other than silence, wondering what was going on. Why had she come in front of this door...Kamui's door...of all places?
Her gaze softened, she missed Kamui...Nill quickly realized...that she didn't quite believe that Kamui was completely gone...there...there must be a little bit of Kamui left...a person as kind as he...couldn't have disappeared...changed...that quickly...could it?
The wonder gripped her, could...could she...could she help bring him back...? Without making a deal...?
The girl's hand slowly raised to knock on the door, but paused just before. Should she...?
Hmm~? There was someone at his door, that much was obvious; he could feel it. But... it wasn't Fuuma though, so for a moment, he thought that maybe he'd just ignore it. The Chi no Ryuu leader was just too comfortable on his couch, damn it; moving didn't sound too appealing right now.
Although, after a few moments, his curiosity got the best of him, and he padded over to the door, peaking out though the peephole. "That girl...?" he whispered to himself, amused. The girl who looked somewhat like Kotori, who seemed to know him, had randomly decided to show up. Ah, this should be fun.
The girl continued to hesitate...Hadn't Lyra even said specifically that she should have stayed away from him...? Nill shook her head of the thoughts, she'd...she'd just check up on him...to make sure he was doing alright...T-That...that wasn't so bad...right...?
The hope continued to float around in her mind, maybe he hadn't changed...maybe...just maybe...maybe Kamui...was still there...?
Nill knocked softly on the door.
A smirk crossed his face as he heard the girl knock on the door, waiting a bit before opening it. "Ah, Nill-chan," leaning against the side of his door a little, he smiled at her; something that could have been comforting if his eyes hadn't been so... cold. Frigid even, and sharp: predatory. "How are you today?" He stood up straight, examining her with interest. And to think, he thought he'd spend his day bored on the comfy couch (the comfy part was already missed, though), watching TV with the dogs.
The girl, flustered already, waved shyly to him, and smiled. She hadn't seen him for awhile...She had to admit...she had missed him...she missed hearing his voice...his pats on the head...his hugs...Was there any chance of getting that back...? This was only a temporary change wasn't it...?
His eyes were so cold...they were different...she couldn't place what...but that look Kamui had given her was...kind of scary...Nill smiled softly, maybe she was just thinking too much.
Couldn't the girl talk? He tilted his head slightly for a moment, thinking on that. Maybe the network was the only way for her to properly communicate? Whatever. Just meant she couldn't scream for help; that was useful indeed.
"Please, come in," he said cordially, moving to the side to allow her entrance. His unsettling gaze stayed on her, mouth still smiling kindly. Still a complete confusion of emotions and intent.
Nill smiled again and nodded a thank you as she stepped through the doorway. Kamui seemed pretty nice...had he really changed...? She couldn't read him at all...but...he was still polite...and kind...Maybe he was back to his normal self already.
The prospect gave her even more hope, her wings lifted slightly with the increasing hope that Kamui was his same old self.
As soon as she was in far enough, Kamui closed the door; nimble fingers quickly locking the gazillion locks that were on the door (why this place had so many, he didn't understand. It didn't seem like that bad a neighborhood). No one was going to come in while he was having his fun, damn it.
And speaking of his fun, he certainly didn't waste any time, hand reaching out to grab Nill's. "Oh, Nill-chan..." He smiled at her in a rather sadistic manner, yanking her back, and in a swift smooth move, pinned the pretty little girl against the wall.
The sudden motion surprised her a little, but the position she was now in surprised her even more...maybe...surprise wasn't even the right word for it....
The girl's eyes widened, K-Kamui...? What was he doing...? This hurt...She struggle a bit trying to give her wings some space but any closer and she'd be closer to Kamui...and he was looking at her weird...
He tilted his head a little, examining her with much amusement. "It's really not polite to just drop by, you know." His nails dug into her a little. "You might upset someone that way. You might get hurt." Like he cared; in fact, her struggling was quite nice. "And..." the Chi no Ryuu leader leaned in, lips brushing her ear and curled into a smirk, "we wouldn't want that, now would we?"
Nill let out a gasp, as she felt something prickling her.
Fear was adamant in her eyes...No...he was too close...The girl jerked back, trying to put some distance, any distance between the two. Her wings bumped the wall and the girl winced at the sudden lance of pain.
"Looks like I might not even have to do anything," he laughed as he saw her wince, "you're just going to hurt yourself, aren't you?" Silly, silly little girl. "But what fun would that be?"
For a moment, he did nothing, continuing to just watch her. He had... such a weird urge, though: weird and unexplainable, and he wasn't about to deny it. Keeping a hold of her, he pressed a kiss to her lips, aggressive, but still oddly gentle; almost as if something inside him was protesting at doing this too hard.
The girl stopped struggling, her eyes widening at the sudden action. She could move, no matter how much the mute had tried to struggle it hadn't worked. Too weak to do anything...and unable to say no...it was just like that time...
Memories started sifting through her mind. Being thrown to the ground, staring up at Melvin Scrooge towering over her. Soon...all the memories started flooding back. There she was trying to escape again, from the screaming, from the sadness, from the darkness, from the loneliness...from the pain...everything.
A tear slowly fell down her cheek. Kamui's gone...No...This was...this was another one of...him...he was just another...
Nill struggled weakly once more, in a clearly panicked state. No...no...no...
Annoying. "No fun," he bit her lower lip as he growled and pulled back, clearly not pleased. This one was so boring; even Kotori would have given him better reactions than this. Not that he would have let his childhood friend live this long: he knew as well as she did that it was her fate to die. What was this girl's fate, he wondered.
"Maybe I'll just kill you now." With a shrug, he threw her to the floor, wandering to his kitchen to grab a large knife. He didn't make any move on her, though, just playing with the knife and watching her. Would she run? Or was she too scared to?
The girl held out her palms out, bracing herself for the floor now that she was free. She had learned, she had always been thrown around...out...out...
Nill's mind was frantic. The memories were stifling her, her breathing was harder. This wasn't Kamui...this wasn't...why had she come...?
Why was it so hard to breathe...? She clutched her chest and ran towards the door. It was just like that time...Heine...Heine had saved her...Heine...where are you...Heine...Heine...
Nill tried the doorknob, but she noticed it was locked. She turned around spotting Kamui holding a knife. Oh no...oh no...She fumbled clumsily at the locks...Why were there so many?
Escape...escape...run...Heine...
Not yet, and not so easy. "Silly girl~" he almost purred out before he grabbed her again, once again shoving her against the wall and shoving that big, sharp knife through her wrist, making sure not to hit anything vital. This attack wasn't to kill her; it was meant to upset and scare her. He was just playing, and how nice it was that she couldn't scream. "A little pathetic."
He nipped at her neck, free hand undoing the locks quickly before literally throwing her out the door. "Run away for now. Come back, and I will do more than just play with you." A lick of his bloodied hand, and he shut the door on her. Now to go back to his comfy couch.
Nill let out a silent scream, another sound that she choked on before escaping her mouth. Pain shot up through her hand, and she felt the blood leaking from the wound. Her face paled, still in shock.
Before she knew it, she was out the door, free again. Nill picked herself up, numb. She pulled out the knife from her wrist, with a quick jerk. The sharp pain caused her to leak another gasp. Dropping the bloodied knife carelessly in front of the door, it made a tangy clang on the floor.
She stared at it, her blue eyes, empty, hollow and moved silently off down the hallway, blood dripping unhindered down her hand. He's...gone...
