LOG: ONGOING
When; Feb 21, evening
Rating;PG
Characters;
fateisabitch and
lyra_of_dustSummary; Lyra and Kamui have dinner and a little talk.
Log; Lyra hesitated for a moment before knocking on Kamui's door. She hadn't really spoken with him much in person since her plan to avenge Jowy's actions towards him on that curse day had gone horribly wrong. And after... Well she couldn't blame him for being furious with her, even if Jowy had forgiven her... There was still the whole mess with Sakurazuka to sort out.
She sighed, exchanged a glance with Pantalaimon and rapped sharply on the door. Hopefully, he'd already be in there.

As luck would have it, though, it was in-fact his adopted little sister (unless the peephole was lying), and so he carefully opened the door, looking at her and her daemon for a moment before acknowledging them both with nods, "Lyra. Pan. Both of you in before Seishirou figures out I'm here." Without much thought beyond that, he gently pulled her in, locking the door behind his two visitors and then sighing with relief. No Seishirous to be upset with him for wandering off and not coming back. "Um... hi?"

"Kamui! I'm sorryI'msorryI'msorry," she babbled, clinging tightly to him, "I'm sorry and I won't ever do that again." Pantalaimon glanced up at Kamui, surveying him fondly before walking past the two of them and climbing onto the couch. Lyra, in the meantime, was too busy hugging Kamui.

"Kamui," she sighed, "We were worried- oh when you got hurt oh- but you're alright now." Lyra began to loosen her hold on him.
"Kamui... of all the people in this city, you're the most important to me. You're my big brother." She knew that they'd have to talk about other things soon-mostly involving Sakurazuka Seishirou, but for now, this friendly reunion was enough.

"Lyra, you're important to me too." Smiling a little, softly, he brushed back her hair a little. "I'm sorry I upset you so much, but... I was so angry at you. You hurt someone else very important to me." A pause, and then suddenly he ruffled her hair a little, "I forgive you now, though." Which was to be expected; when he was close to someone, he almost always forgave them. After all, he still wanted to be close to Fuuma, even after all his friend/enemy had done, and nothing his current friends could do would ever be able to top that.

"I'm glad- and I- can I move in with you? Because the main reason I moved in with Sakurazuka was because you were staying there to. And if you en't staying there anymore, then I'm moving out. That man, he-" Lyra broke off that train of thought as she clung to him still.
"I want to move in with you."

And even sorry-er when he heard her request. Moving in with him wasn't an option, especially since the other him couldn't stand her. "Moving in... that... well, right now that depends on the vampire twins. But wouldn't you be happier living someplace on your own, permanently? I tend to move from place to place. It'd be nothing by trouble for you."
no subject
"I'll think about it," she told him, "But I don't mind moving around. Just promise me you won't be moving back in with Sakurazuka." That was far more important then moving in with him.
"And we need to talk about Sakurazuka... A few nights ago, something weird happened to him. Is he like Fuuma-I mean, can he make himself look like other people?" Lyra asked nervously.

Kamui flinched when Lyra mentioned Seishirou, feeling rather... guilty. He couldn't just avoid the man forever; he had to go back eventually. Thus, he thought it best to avoid the topic of not moving back in with him. "Seishirou, well, he doesn't have the same power as Fuuma. Fuuma can only turn into someone you wish to see, from what I've been told. Seishirou can spin illusions. I'm sure he can use that to appear as whoever." Surprisingly, though, the older man had never once tried that on him. "Why? What did he do?"

She bit her lip and glanced down nervously, "He made himself look like Mrs. Coulter-my mother. Several times-it was quick though, barely a second- but it doesn't make sense! He shouldn't know what she looks like!" That fact had been what had disturbed her the most about the whole incident.
no subject
"You'll be staying with me, then." He held her close again, protectiveness present in his tone and actions, "Even if I have to sneak you into the twins' place."
no subject
"Thanks," she told him softly, "He scares me... she did to. I don't want to stay there unless you're there to." Lyra was silent for a few moments after that, merely holding him tightly. She didn't want to think about Mrs. Coulter or Mr. Sakurazuka now.
"I- can I help make dinner?" she asked, looking up and loosening her hold.

"So... Like this?" she asked, grabbing a handful of meat, and used her hands to roll it into a large and irregularly shaped meatball, grinning proudly at her handiwork.

"That better?" Lyra asked hopefully, as she started to works on the next one.
