[Incomplete] Souhi vs. Mugen's Sword
When; Now (After the sun returns)
Rating; PG (for violence and language)
Characters; Mugen [
outtamyway] + Kurogane [
black_ginryuu]
Summary; Mugen's sword is nice, but Kurogane likes to think that his is nicer. How do these boys solve any argument? It's a fight, stupid.
Log;
It was true that Souhi was a nice sword, even though Kurogane had been a little bit sneaky about using that picture of Ginryuu instead. Ginryuu had been his father's sword, and therefore was his by rights, but now that damn witch had it. If he could have given up anything else to the Dimension Witch for the price of passage, he would have.
But then again, here he was, with a new sword in the bargain, and it didn't look like he'd be getting home any time soon. So why not take advantage of a few invitations to fights while he was here? Sure, he couldn't kill the guy with that damn curse sealed on him, but he could definitely maim him pretty bad...
Kurogane's legs stretched comfortably as he ran across the rooftops, a deathly grin showing off his teeth as he flashed through the sky. Travelling with those kids, he had forgotten how good the blood-lust was. When he finally spotted a figure, he landed with complete silence on the edge of the building-top to wait until he was spotted.

Mugen picked himself up, looking around for his opponent. Maybe he could catch sight of him before he showed up. To his surprise, his opponent was already standing several feet behind him. 'Shit. When did he get here?' thought Mugen.
"Yo, what took you so long?"

Blood-red eyes flickered over Mugen's form, which caused enough of an impression to warrent a reply. Another step and he could have his sword at this kid's throat, but he could tell just from looking at him that it wouldn't be quite that easy.
"Let's go."
But that wouldn't stop him from doing it.

From the few short seconds their glares met Mugen could tell this Kurogane guy was not to be taken lightly. "Tch," He spat.
With that Mugen brought the fight to his opponent, unleashing a storm of swordplay, footwork, and break dancing.
[ooc: I don't know how well I started the battle, if you think it's too shaky just let me know.]

But he could tell that this kid was enjoying the fight as much as he did, and that was all he was looking for.
One wrist blocked a kick to the head, and instead of pushing it away Kurogane wrapped his fingers around the ankle and pulled, his other hand simultaniously pulling his sword out for a cut to the chest.
[OOC: Ahahahaaaa... I gave up a long time ago on writing fighting scenes, so I'm not one to be looking for criticism from. ^^;]

Mugen actually cracked a smile as he felt Kurogane's fingers clutch his ankle. This wasn't going to be easy, but it was going to be fun.
His free hand slammed against rooftop, giving Mugen the push he needed to twist his body out of the enemy sword's path. Despite his awkward position Mugen managed to thrust his blade in Kurogane's general direction, lower body already twisting to follow up with a kick.

Kurogane's sword-senseis were rolling in their graves.
Re-settling himself in his usual stance, sword held in two hands and facing his opponant. He was tempted to try out Zenryuu Hiougeki against this guy, to see if he could dodge it, but maybe he'd wait a little while. Just to see how interesting things could get.

Mugen rolled off the ground into a standing position, holding his sword up against his shoulder. He definitely didn't look like he was in the middle of a fight.
"Not bad," Mugen barked, scratching his chin. His sword tapped against his shoulder as he waited for the next attack.

"Tenma Kuuryuusen!"
The energy pulled through his body and flew out as he slashed. If you looked hard enough and had enough of a romantic eye, it took the form of a dragon made of energy. If you didn't, well, it would still kill you if you gave it a chance.

Arms hanging loose at his his side, Mugen threw his body into a dash towards Kurogane. Just as his head would have collided with Kurogane's side he tumbled onto the ground, spinning around on his back, leg's extending to catch a piece of his opponent.

"Oof!"
The wind knocked out of him, he skidding a little ways before bringing his sword up into a defensive position to hold back any second attacks.

CLANG!
Had his opponent not been an amateur, Mugen's sword would have connected with flesh instead of steel. He pressed his blade against Kurogane's. There wasn't enough distance to make a safe getaway, or to start up a new attack. Mugen had foolishly brought himself too close for a critical hit.
Swords locked, it was now a test of muscle to see who would gain the upper hand.

Shifting his grip slightly on souhi's pummel, Kurogane pressed back hard against the heavier sword of Mugen and contemplated the chances of him getting off another attack before being attacked again.
Well, it was worth a try. He had only taken on hit so far, anyways, and although the kick was formidable it hadn't broken any ribs. It would just leave a nasty bruise.
Shoving Mugen back with a huge push, he gathered the energy in his sword once again and lashed out.
"Hama Ryuuoujin!"
