[Incomplete] Souhi vs. Mugen's Sword

When; Now (After the sun returns)
Rating; PG (for violence and language)
Characters; Mugen [[livejournal.com profile] outtamyway] + Kurogane [[livejournal.com profile] black_ginryuu]
Summary; Mugen's sword is nice, but Kurogane likes to think that his is nicer. How do these boys solve any argument? It's a fight, stupid.
Log;

It was true that Souhi was a nice sword, even though Kurogane had been a little bit sneaky about using that picture of Ginryuu instead. Ginryuu had been his father's sword, and therefore was his by rights, but now that damn witch had it. If he could have given up anything else to the Dimension Witch for the price of passage, he would have.

But then again, here he was, with a new sword in the bargain, and it didn't look like he'd be getting home any time soon. So why not take advantage of a few invitations to fights while he was here? Sure, he couldn't kill the guy with that damn curse sealed on him, but he could definitely maim him pretty bad...

Kurogane's legs stretched comfortably as he ran across the rooftops, a deathly grin showing off his teeth as he flashed through the sky. Travelling with those kids, he had forgotten how good the blood-lust was. When he finally spotted a figure, he landed with complete silence on the edge of the building-top to wait until he was spotted.

"Shit!" Mugen barked as he rolled to the edge of the roof, almost sending himself over the edge. Several curse words escaped his mouth as he rose to a standing position. He had almost forgotten he was in a place with people who knew magical skills. It didn't matter, Mugen didn't need magic to win a fight.

Arms hanging loose at his his side, Mugen threw his body into a dash towards Kurogane. Just as his head would have collided with Kurogane's side he tumbled onto the ground, spinning around on his back, leg's extending to catch a piece of his opponent.

Nailed him. Mugen grinned as he slowed his rotation, rolling in the direction of the winded Kurogane.

CLANG!

Had his opponent not been an amateur, Mugen's sword would have connected with flesh instead of steel. He pressed his blade against Kurogane's. There wasn't enough distance to make a safe getaway, or to start up a new attack. Mugen had foolishly brought himself too close for a critical hit.

Swords locked, it was now a test of muscle to see who would gain the upper hand.
