Log: Ongoing
When; April 6th; Evening
Rating; R for violence/torture
Characters; Selene [
warrior_selene] and Pyramid Head [
redhorror]
Summary; Affected by the ghost curse and seeing her family disapproving of her decisions, Selene decides to head down to the Underground to blow off some steam and kill some monsters.
Log;
She already hated the City but this particular curse was certainly not helping to endear the place to her. Having her parents, sister and nieces follow her around looking at her in disgust and disappointment was more than she was willing to deal with at the moment. Yes, she had bought into Viktor's lies but everything she had done had been to avenge her family. She had killed all those lycans believing they had been the ones who slaughtered her family. Why were they looking at her like that?
Selene scoffed as she made her way down into the Underground, walking further into the dark areas searching for some easy prey. The monsters she had come across on her prior visit to the Underground had proven less then a challenge to her. But she needed to blow off some steam and better the creatures then taking her frustration out on some mortals. Slowly her eyes began to change color, as her fangs became more pronounced. She scanned the area, holding her guns before her.
The first monster she spotted was going down and she'd keep killing them until her blasted family disappeared.

The occasional bare bulb began, one by one, to become choked off with a crawling, consuming darkness.
Crawling corruption seeped like reddish black rot from one shadow to the next until it had overtaken all of the perceivable Underground.
As it crawled parts of the tunnel degraded and crumbled into a glowing maw of burning light.
Hellfire opening before Selene's very feet.
The darkness spread, and deepened until nothing beyond the pool of light caste by a lone streetlight became the only perceivable amount of space within the darkened tunnels.
At the very edges of this caste light the darkness moved; shifted, melted, stretched and ran.
The writhing mass then coalesced into a form.
The monster jerked, and twitched, but seemed otherwise unphased as it raised itself to it's feet. Turning back, it drew forth it's nine-foot steel blade from the darkness beyond.
The blade hit the concrete with a reverberating, mettalic thud, and the Executioner started to advance, the tell-tale scream and grind of his slow gait heralding his arrival; Relentless, remorseless.
The Red Pyramid, Right Hand, Great Blade.
He lived in it, moved through it, was a part of it.
.....And through the darkness, he could hear the next soul needed for Father.
The bound woman stood before him, and with the call and response of the condemned, the massive helm seemed to see right through her.
Soul for the fire.
Burn it hotter and higher
Bring them all down to dance for the damned
One gnarled hand rose, and pointed at the condemned before him.
GUILTY!

Her heartbeat began to quickened...was that fear she was feeling?
"You are lecturing me? A Death Dealer? How many innocents lives have you taken over the last 600 years? You are no better than Markus and even less noble than William! At least he cannot help himself.
Selene shook her head trying to rid herself of Alexander's voice. In that moment she spotted the form of the Executioner. Reflex kicking in she began to fire both guns at him.
"Go on and try to kill him...killing is what you do best!" The ghost of her father sneered.
"Shut up!" Selene shouted, continuing to fire her guns. Trying her best to ignore the taunts of ghost father and the voice of Alexander playing through her mind.
