Summary; Tayuya feels like venting some steam the good old fashioned way. A beating. Kamui feels the same. And, well, she figures she can knock some goddamn sense into him at the same time.
Log;

A kunai flipped into the air, spun, reflected light, and fell into the nimble catch of the North Gate. Tayuya leaned casually against the door to the building roof, tossing the small knife up over and over again, continuing to catch it between fingers accustomed to picking pockets, moving quickly, handling weapons. She was a quick one. And it had only been a few days, since she'd returned from wherever the fuck she'd been, but she was already itching for a fight, and hell, if Bloodsucker was willing to provide she could kill two birds with one stone. Beat his ass just cause she needed to beat someone's ass, (though this wasn't certain, neither of them ever dominated by extremes in any of their fights) and she could beat some sense into him.

Roof to roof was how Kamui went, not feeling like being a traditional walker and mingling with the other city residents. Just wasn't in the mood, really; what he was in the mood for was a fight. Which Tayuya had so conveniently offered. "Ta~yu~ya~" he drawled jokingly as he landed on the roof with a thump, smirking at her. He knew this would be fun: fights with her always were. "So we're going to play?"

"Playtime means I don't knock you on your ass." The ninja shot back with a slightly amused look. The vampire could be so annoying sometimes, really. "So no, this is a fucking fight, not play~time." She affected the sing-song lilt of his voice in a mocking gesture, flipping her long red hair back from her face with a smirk, the kunai dancing over her knuckles and between her finger joints as she still leaned against the wall. "You can play, if you want."

Kamui shrugged a little, "Ah. Any fight that doesn't involve my brother being in danger or my own death is just a game." After all, injury wasn't new or important to him. "Even if I end up laid up in bed for a while." He stepped a little closer to her. "Intend to let things get that far?" He wouldn't care, either way. Not right now.

"Tch." Tayuya let the kunai shoot from her fingers, whistling past the vampire inches past his shoulder, an intentional miss. "You're damn perverted." But she smirked, something familiar about his tones that reminded her, faintly, of something in each of her teammates, none of whom were present. That... she had no other word but faggotry from Sakon, the snark from Kidoumaru, the seriousness of Jiroubou when it came to certain things, and the deadly traits Kimimaro had possessed. Which made him damn interesting. "I won't kill you, of course." Another kunai found a place idly juggled between her hands.

He didn't even flinch when that kunai went whizzing past, missing him only by a little bit. It wouldn't have bothered him, even if it had impacted. "Of course I'm perverted," he smiled a little too pleasantly. "Would I be as fun if I wasn't?" He took another step closer, one hand hiding behind his back as he lengthened his nails, growing into razor sharp talons. "I'm glad you don't intend to kill me again, though. Would kind of defeat the purpose of punishing me for my suicide and all."

"Exactly." Tayuya appeared still nonchalant, pausing the motion of the kunai to run her fingers over the edge, testing the blade's sharpness with a look of mild interest. "See, I'll only kill you if you do something fucking stupid like that again." Flippantly, she smirked. "Or if I feel like it, but I'm just not in the mood." Ninja were accustomed to watching for sneak attacks, and his hand hidden did not go unnoticed, trained as she was to looking exactly for such maneuvers, thought of yet, she made no move.

"Ah~ I'll try not to kill myself again, then~" he said, looking up as if contemplating. Like he could promise that; not if his brother was involved again. "I don't like you mad at me, after all." Which was entirely true: being in the doghouse was no fun, even if it meant he got to fight her.

He cocked his head curiously, studying her, before letting that hand come into plain view, deciding she probably had already figured out he was preparing to fight. "Are we going to just stand here all day and snipe at each other?" Kamui flexed his fingers, staring at his waving claws with disinterest.

"We could. I'm damn good at it, I like to think." The ninja suddenly slapped her palm against her thigh and came back up to display her own hand, displaying the four kunai held between her knuckles in a caricature of his own claws. She had her own, but she didn't feel like going to the curse seal just yet. Smirking, she sprang forward, aiming to simply bowl the vampire over to begin, bladed fist coming at his shoulder.

He let her hit him, at least partially, using the split second it would take to pull the blades from his shoulder to dart behind her, claws to her throat. He was... somewhat disturbed at how much energy it apparently took to move as quickly as he always had. That wasn't normal, as was the fact that his wounds hadn't healed instantly; not that he wasn't still healing, but it was slower than normal.

The movement to her back made her freeze, immediately stopping movement and dropping, the edges of his claws scraping against the skin of her throat as she let her legs collapse under her, red hair fluttering up before she twisted her body, spun her hips and regained her legs in a crouch, pivoting smoothly to turn and kick at the vampire's knees.

Kamui fell back, but caught himself and turned the momentum into a backward spring, landing and quickly swiping his claws at the air, creating a wall of wind-razors. Too much energy, though; it was taking too much energy. It was really bothering him, even though he was sure he would last for the fight. The frustration of it all still made him growl, though.

She could see the frustration on his face, jumping into the air and ending in a crouch on the small frame of the door to the stairs, idly tossing a few shuriken his way. “Told ya, Bloodsucker.” Tayuya taunted, she always did such in fights. “Takes a bit to compensate, learn to work around it.” The flutist idly wondered whether she’d use any illusions, but figured she’d play this by ear. It usually worked that way.

"Tch, sorry for not being used to being dead," he growled, annoyed. A bit worried too, since... well, he hadn't been able to outright beat Seishirou before, when at full strength; how could he save his brother from him now, when weakened?

"I should have had a full meal beforehand, damn it." That probably would have helped.
Surviving in a fight on a snack was stupid in the first place.

“Excuses, excuses.” Tayuya snickered. “Come on, at this rate I won’t even need the curse seal, Bloodsucker, bo~ring~” She mimicked his playful toned lilt again, springing towards him with her flute in hand, not to play, but aimed as a bludgeon towards his head. He could use some sense in there.

She was coming at him with her flute. Her flute. "What the hell?" he managed to get out before he was whacked, having been too confused by the entirely random attack to even dodge it. "God damn..." he jumped away, rubbing the spot he'd been whacked damned hard, lucky it hadn't cracked his skull. "What the fuck was THAT?!" The glare he gave her was bratty and pissy at the same time.

"Not fair. I want a blunt object to smack you with, too." He almost sounded genuinely childish, even though he was just joking. What he wanted was his crossbow. Oh yes. How he missed that fun piece of weapondry.

And... illusion? He thought for a moment back to fighting with Seishirou: that man had tried to use illusions against him too, but hadn't been fast enough with them to be all that effective. With Tayuya, though, it would be different. "Hmm~ Said illusions will not be involving tree branch bondage, will they~?"

Kamui felt something wrapping around his body securely, trying to tug away a little to test how strong it was. Blood red bindings. How... interesting. He must have given her ideas. "Creative, huh?" This wasn't so bad. At least not yet. He wasn't stupid enough to think she didn't have other plans.

Shift in key, and suddenly what he was seeing shifted as well. He was still restrained as he was, but... there was a person coming into focus. Not just any person: Subaru. Subaru who turned to him, looking as if he didn't recognize him at all; that alone ripped at his heart.

"Brother?" he struggled a little more in his bindings, getting lost entirely in the illusion. There was a part of him that wanted to run away, to hide still for what he'd done to himself, but then... that man, their world's Seishirou, appeared. "SUBARU!" Kamui suddenly screamed out as he saw the man wrap his hand around his twin's throat, Subaru allowing it, and started to squeeze. He was hurting him, possibly with intent to kill him, and there was nothing he could do. It was just as he had always feared.

Feared... and then it struck him: an illusion, maybe? There was only one way to find out, Kamui closing his eyes and focusing. No, that was wrong; it wasn't his twin. He would be able to feel it if it was. He would be able to feel his twin's body struggling, would feel him being this close, but instead their bond just gave him something distant; a little too distant, in fact, and that worried him. For now, though, best to get out of this.

Focusing on his twin bond as a distraction, he felt where the only near life was, practically being able to hear her blood throbbing. Oh, yes, he could find her... and he did; breaking the illusion by ignoring it's existance, launching himself at her without warning and pinning her to the floor, eyes slitted as he had her throat in his hand, nails extended slightly and digging in a bit. It looked for a moment as if he had snapped and was actually going to kill her, but suddenly his persona shifted into something softer. "That was very bad of you, you know," he whispered into her ear, content now to tease. It hadn't been real, and he was focusing on that to calm down.
