Summary; The Privaron comes to fetch Noitora's Fracción and take him to the Espada's residence.
Log;

Cirucci was rather upset. Perhaps the term would be closer to irritated. A fight with Alfons, the arrival of Ishida Uryu... it had her rather miffed. She tried not to appear too angry as she followed the faint reiatsu signature of Noitora's fracción, letting herself enjoy her time if only by releasing her blade to fly over the City proper, wings of bone and metal reflecting off the sun. Nothing like the sun of Hueco Mundo.

The Privaron looked down on the City proper, the twelve buildings surrounding the large fountain... he was down there. With a sigh she dropped lower, the whistling in her ear and rustle in her hair of the wind at least somewhat soothing to her, soothing enough to put a more neutral expression on her face at least. Normally she would never have bothered with something like this, but boredom did wonders, especially in this City.

Resealing the blade she dropped the last several feet to the ground, ignoring the other citizens, humans, other filth, eyes scanning about for the uniform of the Arrancar of Los Noches. Spotting the one she sought, the Privaron began making her way through the crowd towards him, shooting dirty looks at the crowd go-ers who came to close.

Tesla had arrived to the spot they had agreed upon early, promptness one of the things he valued most. It allowed him to scan the area for any unforeseen events or dangers that he could correct before the Privaron arrived.

Besides, he had not had a chance to enjoy the city so much after his first arrival, having been more concerned with locating his companions or, if that failed, anyone from his world at all. He had been in luck that arrancar and shinigami alike had ended up trapped in this city. Although the presence of more than one Espada meant that Las Noches was left undefended in their wake, he was grateful that they were here in this city instead, to be able to guard their mutual master, no matter what distressing things Zael and Aizen-sama himself had informed him of.

The stir that came in the wake of Cirucci's dramatic entrance broke Tesla's reverie and he straightened at her appearance. She was just on time, if not a little early. He clasped his gloved hands behind his back, striding quickly to the other arrancar.

"The speed of your arrival is appreciated, M- Cirucci," he greeted, his voice clear and even.

Tesla smiled slightly, albeit a bit nervously at the inspection she set into with such speed. He held his place until she was done. Even so far from home, he had taken special care to appear presentable. It would not do to disgrace Noitora-sama in foreign parts however much he may or may not care.

"I came to my current position prior to the agreed upon time in order to overlook the city. Your arrival is just on time," Tesla assured her, his one eye flickering curiously to the garter before returning to her face, "I hope I have not caused any inconvenience in your personal schedule with this request?"

"Then allow me to thank you for the gift of your time," Tesla's smile broke more widely, as if amused at himself. He pressed the idea of being without orders to the back of his mind for the time being. If he was truly without them, he would simply have to construct other tasks to engage himself until a return to Las Noches could be arranged.

"How is Wonderwyce's training going? I have yet to encounter him and a few of the arrancar that I was told were presently living in the area," Tesla continued conversationally.

Tesla listened without much more comment than a nod to show that he was listening. Life advanced, even away from their hallowed halls and, although life was not the same here, it appeared it was benefiting the youngest of their number quite well. It was only her comment about the smaller arrancar that drew his attention the most.

"Remedied? By eliminating her, I'd assume?" Tesla asked, frowning. While he did not fully understand the situation and he recognized the more violent natures of his siblings, it seemed almost wasteful to kill a fellow arrancar. "Is there not a more efficient way of dealing with Nell Tu? If I recall correctly, she would only return after being killed."

A teacher's logic was hard to argue and Tesla had to admit that it appeared their mutual attachments were doing both of them more harm than good. But something about Nell's condition sat ill with him. It wasn't sympathy. Tesla knew too well that he was not capable of this. It was the wastefulness that struck him most.

"She has spoken of healing powers, though," Tesla remarked, slowly and deliberately, "I will not argue that it would be ideal if both of their attachments could be severed, but I cannot agree that she is entirely worthless."

"I am speaking above my place," Tesla amended shortly, "But, it would be ideal if she could join our ranks or put to use in some manner. We do not have the resources we had in our world. The trust the shinigami put in her is something that could be put to better use if we could control the information she gives them."

Tesla nodded, silenced by her words. Of course he was not the only one to have thought of such a thing. His hands twisted together behind his back, the brief embarassment schooled from his boyish face. It was obvious by her tone that he had irked the Privaron with his words.

"I understand," he said, softly, glancing away from her and towards the crowds that lined the streets.

"It has no detrimental effects?" Tesla asked, returning his attentions to the young woman once more. He had not fed since his arrival, already full from his time in Las Noches, but the thought of eating human food twisted his stomach. It seemed almost unnatural for an arrancar to consume such a thing.

"... And all of us have been eating it?" he marveled after some thought. The idea of Noitora-sama or Grimmjow lowering themselves to human food was almost more perplexing than the thought of eating it himself. He was, after all, one of the weaker of their number. He had done worse things to survive before, but the Espada were different.

Tesla blinked at the sudden mention of the other arrancar before laughing openly, a dark gloved hand lifting to his mouth on reflex. He knew better and had been trained better not to laugh at his superiors, but he couldn't help but be amused at the thought of the vicious sixth of the Espada, who could make so many of the lower ranks cower before his powers, having a fondness for sweets.

"I must apologize," he tried to gather himself from the outburst, his voice still filled with the mirth of the squelched laughter, "I would not... had not expected to learn such a thing."

"You told me something I told you I could not promise," Tesla offered her a wry smile, carefully schooling his expression to a more neutral one after but a few seconds. He returned his hands neatly to his sides and straightened himself a bit.

"And the other arrancar? I trust their preferences vary as well?" he urged, gently. He did not wish to ask her directly, but the intense desire to play his part, even on foreign grounds remained.

[identity profile] single-eyed.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
"Indeed," Tesla agreed, conversationally. The arrancars' strength rested in their differences. From the scientifically-inclined Octava to the more battle-honed Sexta, the Espada table alone housed a wide variety of strengths and tastes. It often led to dissent between them, but, at the same time, it gave their leaders an amazing range of talents to utilize in achieving their goals.

"The Octava was rather thorough as to our present situation and quite a few other details," Tesla conceded, "I have very few questions outside of what he has shared with me."

Tesla paused at Cirucci's list, realizing to what an extent his knowledge was truly lacking. He was almost glad he had not encountered Noitora-sama when there were such dire gaps in his intelligence.

"I'm afraid those were not covered in his explanation of the territory," Tesla murmured, suitably put in his place. He glanced at her, "Could you please expound on those points?"

[identity profile] single-eyed.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
Tesla frowned as Cirucci continued. The list of curses seemed so strange and random at best. It was a wonder that anyone had managed to organize a life for themselves here when such things were rather frequent occurrences.

"And there is no way to predict their occurrence or prepare?" Tesla ventured.

[identity profile] single-eyed.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
"So, all we can do is prepare for the worst and hope for the best," Tesla sighed. That wasn't very reassuring, but he took comfort in the fact that there would be others experiencing the symptoms as well. He'd watch for that and take note for any indications of affects in his own actions.

"And friendly parties? Allies, enemies?" Tesla urged, gently, hoping for better results in those categories.
