Log; Ongoing
When; Prom Evening.
Rating; PG-13 for attempted terrorism and possible violence and language. We don't know yet.
Characters; Lady
quamserena , Captain
wolfsmercy , Autor
freakyfanboy , Radu
flammenschwert , and Kurogane
a_crimson_ninja .
Summary; Lady and Radu plan to blow up and burn down a building close to the prom party. Autor and Kurogane are suspicious of them and follow, and Captain as the Security Guard interferes.
Log;
It had all been terribly easy up to now. The punch was spiked alright with an ominous mixture of "things" Earl Cain had sold to him, and Lyra had successfully prepared her own surprise in the party area. Lady and Radu himself had attended only for long enough not to cause suspicion by their absence, and now he was eager to see their real surprise for the prom go off. The explosives had been stored in one of the many hiding places he normally used for opium and the like.
They had been careful breaking into the house, and from the outside, there was no damage visible. Handling explosives was possibly nothing he should be doing while drunk, but the surprise and the chaos ahead were easily worth it. Busy planting some of the tools Lady had prepared, Radu fought the urge to light a cigarette, and asked with hardly hidden anticipation, "Everything alright with yours? I can't wait for their faces when they're all out of it and this happens."
((OOC: For everybody I didn't catch on AIM; Lady and me won't be too active, sorry about that, but the plot belongs to Autor and his respective companion now. The latter can alert the Captain while Autor bursts in, Captain comes, and that's basically it. Have fun. ♥))

This wouldn't be the first time Lady burned a building, anyway. Of course, once she had gotten used t something for footwear outside of Doc Martins or converse, she'd be able to run, in case the worst happened. And not that she really cared if her plans were thwarted. She was going to get a thrill, somehow, taking frustrations out. Too bad for the rest of the "students", to be some sort of metaphorical stress reliever.
A cruel sort of smile twisted on Lady's face, turning behind, as always, watching her shoulders. And one more look at what she brought, rummaging, Lady had to agree, "Of course, all that panic, chaos, and disorder," They say Pyromaniacs loved to see the response of fires, and this was heavily the case here. "It'll be worth it, best night I've been fortunate to have in two weeks."

I'm having to apologize to people way too much lately, the Mystery Club President thought grumpily to himself as he straightened the jacket of his tuxedo. It was just him, his intelligence, and what little amount of brawn he'd manage to scrape up...he wasn't able to figure out a way to sneak his bow into the prom.
He glanced over at a house nearby. It seemed normal enough. That probably wasn't where they went. He was about to turn to walk off in another direction when his ears caught a faint sound.
...Maybe it wouldn't hurt to take a look inside, anyway...

He growled a bit to himself as he straighted his tux out a bit, before he tilted his head, eyes catching sight of a shorter boy with glasses. What was he doing out here? Kurogane moved forward to follow, silently.

Was that voices he heard? "Jinkies!" he muttered under his breath, cupping his hand to his ear and leaning closer to the window...
It was then that he saw it out of the corner of his eye. A reflection of a taller, stronger gym teacher that would probably ask far too many questions.
He jumped and whirled around. "I'm not doing anything, I swear!"
((OOC: There you go, you got your jinkies. XD Just so you know, I THINK the plan now is to have Autor and Kurogane talk for a bit before the Captain jumps in...I THINK.))
no subject
Well, if that wasn't suspicious, Kurogane didn't know what was. "Is that so?" he asked, putting his hands on his hips.
[ooc: ilu. forrealz xD and okies. sounds good.]

...No. Radu was definantely up to something. Maybe he was going to feed on Lady like the vampire he was!
"Yes," he said, this time with a bit more confidence in his voice. He pushed his glasses up his nose. "I have reasons to believe that Radu may be attacking Lady. I saw them sneaking off together."
((OOC: ♥))

"...alright." he stated. "The Captain would probably be the best person to take care of this."
Not that Kurogane couldn't take care of it himself, but the Captain probably would be a better option.

He frowned then started to unbutton his tuxedo jacket. There must be a place around somewhere to keep it safe..."At the very least, I can go in!"

And with that he turned, moving back towards the prom quickly to find said individual.

...Right. Like he was going to do THAT.
Autor crossed his arms and leaned against the building, waiting until Kurogane was out of sight. A slight smirk appeared on his face as he pulled off his jacket and neatly folded it. After a moment's hesitation, he decided to hide it behind a bush nearby the house. Hopefully it wouldn't get too messy there. His mother would NOT be happy about him ruining such an expensive piece of clothing...
He leaned forward against the window pane for another moment. Hmm. He couldn't hear the voices now. Maybe he was just hearing things?
...Or maybe...the attack was already...!!
Without another thought, Autor grabbed the door handle and threw open the door to the house, dashing into the entryway.

He didn't quite have a chance to explain that it may just have been other students from the prom somewhere outside, as the sound of a door slammed open cut him off. He spun around, almost dropping the highly explosive material he was holding, eyes widened in surprise. "What the- Oh shit."
no subject
"LEAVE HER--!" he began, then stopped, stared. This...wasn't a vampire attack in progress. That much was for sure. But...
"...What ARE you doing?"
no subject
"Shi-" His voice was cut off when he managed to compose himself again. In exchange, a glare meant to kill fell upon Autor, fired up by the shock of being discovered. Remembering he was still holding explosives, he put them down, just in case he would have to use more persuasiveness than just words. Which was rather likely. If somebody had found them out, no matter if he could stop them or not, they were in serious trouble. And right now, he couldn't think of any words anyway, but his glances and the change in his pose betrayed his back-up plan far too much, when he finally snapped, "What are you doing here!?"
no subject
"Wouldn't you like to know," Lady was still the smart ass, like it or not. Had it been, say, security, Lady would've fled the scene.

Autor squared his shoulders and glared at the pair. "Yes, actually, I would like to know." He march forward to the offending 'something', trying to get a better look.

((OOC: Captain can burst in if he wants? Or anybody against it? Btw, Captain, you're hot in that outfit. ♥))

When you're that large and you come down that hard, you make some noise. It's a bit inevitable.
The Captain pushed through the doorway, frock coat trailing behind him, following the scent of explosives. It lead him to the room, where he quietly, silently, stood behind Autor, looming like only he could.

The girl wasn't going to wait, either, already taking off.

"Yeah, you better run!" he said, putting his hands on his hips.

More outleap.
The Captain pushed off the wall and shot over their heads, crashing down in front of them.

...That was...just a little bit embarrassing. Just a tad.
Autor turned and walked back over to the object Radu had set down when he walked into the room. What was it, he wondered? Sunscreen, some sort of weapon, maybe--
EXPLOSIVES?! Were they planning on blowing this place up?! Oh man...if he had run into Radu, what would've happened??
He should clean them up, shouldn't he? What if they went off? Autor reached his hand out to pick up the explosive. He had come in here to be a hero, after all. It hadn't worked out the way he was thinking, but...
...Wait.
...What if they went off while he was IN here?
Autor jerked back his hand, his expression suddenly having fear appear on his face.
It was a good thing he had gotten fear back. It was a bothersome emotion, but an important one. Fear was going to keep him from doing something really, really reckless.
Feeling embarrassed, sheepish, but ultimately safe, Autor turned and walked out of the building, stopping to grab his jacket out of its hiding place once he was outside. It wasn't too dirty, actually. He brushed it off a little bit and slipped it on.
...Well...at least he LOOKED a little bit like James Bond, even if ultimately he didn't ACT much like him.
...Hopefully that would be enough to keep Pique happy.

It was STILL funny. And hoping Radu didn't crash in front of her, Lady decided not to out run him FURTHER. Like anyone wanted someone like him after them. The girl regained composure and straightened herself up.

Not from the Captain, at least. He didn't do sermons.
He stood up and popped his neck.
