out of boredomfor the fun of it when she heard the knock on the door. It was instantly that she stopped everything to jump off the mattress and skip over to the front door expecting to see Kaito walk in any moment.][When that didn't happen, it occurred to her that he wouldn't need to knock. And the times she was told not to answer the door for anyone come flooding back from all the other things she was quick to forget in her mind. But the answer of what she was supposed to do if someone came to the apartment came back to her mind as well. (She made a mental note to tell Kaito later of how good she did since she imagined he would be proud of her.)]
--Yeah? Who is it?

[ He waited for the sounds of foot steps moving towards the door- expecting it to open right away, Possibly with a gun pointed to his forehead, not that it phased him much anymore. Even before the voice answered however-- Akito noticed the different steps. Much lighter than Kaito’s, much faster than he would have moved, too. ]
It’s Akito. Can I come in? [ His air trecks dangled behind him, fingers wrapped around the laces of both. Akito wouldn’t leave them back at the apartment now; not with how this place seemed to work. ]
I mean, is it okay to come in? [ It-- seemed safe enough. She was at the door, and he didn’t hear Kaito anywhere. That was a good enough sign, right? His free hand moved up, going to twist the door knob-- before remembering Kaito’s bad habit of pressing guns to other’s foreheads upon entering. Gazelle didn’t seem the sort from what he could remember. There were certain parts of those memories that gave plenty of reason to, however. ]

Yeah! It's okay if you do. [Did that come off as too weird? Hmm. After a short pause to think, she figured it probably was, and adds:]
But Kaito's not here.

[ Akito walked into the apartment, arms flinging the trecks from side to side, until he had reached the couch-- where he sat them down on top of the cushions. ]
[ Turning himself back around, he went off towards the kitchen, one hand raising to press his index finger to his lips as he stared towards the cupboards. ]
Is there any tea left in here?

[Her attention on them lasted only as long as the silence did, however. When she heard his question, her attention shifted back to him. All she heard was: tea, but luckily she assumed that's what he wanted.]
Oh... It's up there. [And with that, she pointed to one of the upper cupboards.]

Papa should really organize these better.

But that's all you need, right?

[ He carried the tea over to the opposite counter, then moved back across, grabbed onto a tea, filled it with water, and set it down on top of the stove. ]
You didn't think I was coming just to leave again, right?
no subject
[She's not sure what she thought actually.]
What do you mean? ...You're gonna stay?

...I mean, you belong here too, right?

[ The answer was enough; he turned his attention back to the stove, and turned the stove on. ]
