Summary; William invites Rin for afternoon tea at his flat. The two hope to learn more about each other's worlds.
Log;
He was hoping that this time having tea with a guest he had invited would go better. Rin Asano sounded like a lively and intelligent girl. William was looking forward to talking with her.
But somewhere at the back of William's mind, there was also the hope that for a few hours at least he could forget about Cardinal dei Medici arriving in the City and just how much work it would be to keep the foolish man quiet.
William sighed and looked at his pocket watch, it was almost 3 pm, time to get the tea ready.

When a third person's voice could be heard, she started slightly and looked up, about to apologize in case she had interrupted another visit - but there was no one.
"Who's been talking?", she blurted out, rather confused.

"I'm not doing anything, your being stupid again." The black top hat snapped.
"You were looking at the papers, I could tell." The pool table snapped back.
William rubbed his forhead, "It's a curse day, most of the inanimate objects in my flat have come alive."

"Ah... yes. I have heard of the curse days." No, she wasn't going to be surprised anymore. Not much, anyway. Never mind she had never seen a top hat OR a pool table in her life to begin with.
So she thought she'd ask. "What are those, anyway? The table looks strange."
