Summary; Yamato and Greed go in search of dinner.
Log;
She was four minutes early, because it really didn't take that much time to walk over to the fountains from the carousel where she usually waited for Kouya by day. Her stomach grumbled and she put a hand to it, petting it like it was a separate being that needed to be placated.
In between talking to the new arrivals and verbal sparring with Seimei, she'd neglected to eat lunch. And unfortunately, hunger pains were something that Zero could still feel.
"That guy better show up soon," Yamato mused to herself. "Or I'm leaving without him."

"Sup, babe? How ya' doin?" Greed said, one hand in his pocket, "Know what you like to eat?"
no subject
"Sneaky, aren't you? Maybe I should put a bell around your neck so you can't scare helpless little school girls," she mused. "I could eat anything, but since it's your treat, and since that Inquisitor guy kept talking about burning steaks all day, I'm thinking...Korean barbecue?
no subject
He seemed rather amused at her request
"That's all? Sure, I can do that. Sure ya' don't want anything else? Never really looked for those sort of places, though. Know any around?"
He glanced about the area, trying to see if anything was in sight.

She tapped a finger against her lips, trying to remember the names of the restaurants she'd passed when she went out with Fuu during the karaoke curse. Unfortunately, she'd been very drunk that night. Everything was a blur.
"I think that Pandora's place is suppose to serve every kind of food. We could try there."
no subject
He presented his back to her, implying he would simply piggy back them there.

"I do have a perfectly good pair of well-shaped legs, you know," she teased, wiggling said legs for emphasis. "But if you insist."
no subject
"Yeah, but do your legs do this?" he said, back to her, jumping higher, rebounding off the side of a building, then forming his arms into claws and quickly scrambling over several tall walls, "It's nice to have certain powers, after all."
no subject
"H-holy shit," she gasped. "Warn a girl before you do stuff like that. If you drop me, I'm cutting off your man-parts, just so you know."
no subject
"Gee, babe, I didn't know ya' wanted my 'man-parts' that badly? Want a free sample?" he laughed, reaching the top and jumping a few smaller rooftops as he made a bee-line for their destination.
"C'mon, don't you like surprises?"
no subject
Now that she was used to the speed, she was able to relax her grip a little. It was easier if she didn't look down.
"I like good surprises. Like surprise! here's a bag of money in your closet, or surprise! that guy you hate was hit by a train, not surprise! I'm going to suddenly hoist you up ten stories."
no subject
He took a sudden drop down another building, his right claw digging into the side of the structure and slowing their descent until he could jump off to the ground.
"We're here!" he exclaimed, pointing to the destination a short distance away, "After you, my lady."
no subject
"I'm strictly for Kouya," she corrected him, when she could finally talk. "So there's no way to tell what gender I like better."
She followed the line of his arm to the restaurant and smiled, tapping her fingernails on the ridge of his shoulder blades. "Gonna let me down?"
no subject
After a few minutes of walking, the entered the building and were greeted by the hostess. Greed chatted with a her a few minutes and gestured to Yamamoto to follow them.
"We got a nice seat," he said, pointing to an uncrowded window area, "Quiet and with a nice view."
no subject
But she had to admit, the view was nice.
They got seated, and Yamato ordered something pink and alcoholic to drink, just to see if she could get away with it (which she did. Apparently the City didn't believe there was such a thing as underaged drinkers), and then hooked an elbow around the back of her chair.
"So, Greed-san, how long have you been here anyway?"
no subject
He ordered a large slab of beef and a pitcher of beer. Let it never be said he didn't eat healthy.
"So what's the deal with the ears and tail on people from your world?"
no subject
Pasta and cream sauce, hmm. She could do some sit-ups later, right? No such thing as bad carbs.
"Ritsuka-chan didn't tell you?" she said, a little surprised that Greed didn't know the significance of having ears. "They're markers of virginity. You lose them when the cherry pops. It kind of caused a stir at the school when I lost mine. Too young, they said. Kouya's more modest, so she wears fakes."
no subject
"Yeah, he told me, but hasn't anyone questioned why they look like cat ears and tails? I mean, you guys smell 100% human, so I don't know why so many other humans from other worlds don't have the ears and tail. Be cool if they did. It 's very exotic. Ritsu looks adorable."
no subject
"Ritsuka-chan always looks adorable, ears or no. But I hope Agatsuma-san let's him keep his for a while. He still needs to act like a kid for a few years, and stop being so serious all the time."
no subject
"Well, I can see that. They do seem kinda' close, but then he seems close to his crazy bro, too. He's just weird, with all his cryptic talk. I still owe Soubi a date."
no subject
"Oh, Seimei still has his ears. I think he's a little too Mysophobic to be a concern for Ritsuka-chan. He is a creepy bastard though, I'll give you that."
no subject
Greed gave her a blank, dull stare.
"...Myso..Myo...What?"
no subject
"Mysophobic," she repeated. "Scared of germs. I bet he washes his hands twenty times a day or more. Seimei can't bear unclean things. I can only imagine what he thinks of sex and bodily fluids."
no subject
"But wasn't he some sort of fighter? How can he do that without touching the opponent? I can't imagine bein' like that."
no subject
"Fighting is different in our world. You don't use your hands, you use words of power. After the battle system is initiated, the Fighters attack by saying spells. The Sacrifice receives all the damage from the attack, so the Fighter's objective is to protect their Sacrifice. But you can also draw power from your bond and your name. It's...kind of complicated."
no subject
Greed glanced out the window, then back across to his "date".
"So what's your deal. How were you made?"
