Log;

Her tea was completely ruined! Why this City had to ruin two perfectly alright teasets, it frustrated Kirie so much! She sighed and finished shopping for a new one of a delicate teal china material with a daisy design. She liked the girlishness of it and hoped Master Uriel would like it as well. Smiling pleased, the angel set her money in her white apron and walked out the shop. That City was so weird they didn’t turn to watch a teenager dressed in a maid outfit of centuries ago skipping the streets with her newly purchased items.

Kirie still kept the uniform from the Academy and wore it when she visited Rosiel, but as long she stayed with Uriel she was his doll.

Julian had been watching her, not so ironically, from the shadows. And when she had placed the teaset down and began to go about her chores, he stepped from said shadows, behind her, whipering nearly against her ear, "A pleasure to meet you."

Then pulled back, least she turn and smack her face against his, hands in his pockets, looking fairly harmless.

Lucky, Kirie was dead (several times), or she would have had what humans had a heart attack. She let go a cry of surprise, feeling the overwhelming frightening aura near her. It wasn’t a demon’s aura, but it was close. “Go away!” she cried in fear, without looking who it was. She never spoke with him, so she couldn’t recognize Julian’s voice.

Holding her teaset close to her chest she started to run away only to sprout a pair of white wings when the streets was less crowded and flew away, in direction of the forest.

Master Uriel. I must reach Master Uriel, she thought alarmed.

Julian blinked. They hardly ever ran from him. Pursing lips, he pursued through the shadows, waiting until she touched down. "You run from me after agreeing to a meeting? No wonder people think you unkind if this is the reception they receive."

Then half smiled to show his humor, white-blonde hair falling into his deep, blue eyes, "Come on, Angel Girl."

Kirie looked down. He was gone, she sighed in relief and landed at the border of the City. Master Uriel’s house was further in the woods, but was difficult to land there. As soon she did, the aura appeared again.

“Kyaaaaaaaa!” she screamed before realizing who the owner was. She pointed at his direction with a shaking hand. “Y-You!” Lord Rosiel wouldn’t be happy to hear she was tricked like this!

"Me," he replied, tilting his head catlike and examining her. "You said we would meet. You never said you would run. But I forgive you." Then reached forward, "Shall I carry that for you?" Fingers brushing over her hands.

Touch one.

“N-No!” Kirie exclaimed, turning away so he wouldn’t touch her teaset. She would not break another! She calmed down and whirled again, glancing at him. “You should have warned me when you were going to appear. I thought you were that crazy demon who switches genders that was coming to eat me.” She didn’t know his aura was so scary to stand.

She huffed, still intimidated. “I’m Kirie, not angel girl.”

"Crazy demon who switches genders?" The djinn blinked. That was a new one. "All right, Kirie," he replied, stepping forward and brushing hands over her cheeks. "I am sorry for frightening you. Sometimes I forget about my aura."

He was used to seducing mortals, after all. Not playing with Angels.

“One of the Seven Satans. He… She is really creepy!” Kirie told him with a shudder. “Never comes out the hole, sloth is their cardinal sin.” She froze when Julian touched her face so casually. Rosiel had done the same many times but it was different when he did it, she felt safe.

“Uh… I was returning to try and make tea for my Master,” she excused herself. “Do you like tea?”

"I like tea," he replied with a smile. "And you did say I could spend time with you. I won't interrupt your chores and I might even help." In a completely magical way, of course. Iblis couldn't be bothered to dust, after all.

"Sloth? Now that is interesting. Seven satans for seven sins," He murmured, not letting go of her face, thumbs stroking her cheekbones, "It isn't like that where I"m from."

“I don’t want help. I enjoy cleaning for Master Uriel,” Kirie pointed out, gaining more courage to reject that. “I am his doll.” No one would take her place as Uriel’s maid, she would be useless.

The stroking didn’t go unnoticed, Kirie was increasingly nervous when it started. This man was neither Master Uriel or Lord Rosiel! So he couldn’t just walk around and lay a hand on her like nothing. “You are… interrupting.”

"Interrupting what?" He asked, smile widening. "Your chores? I told you I would help." Then drew, reluctantly away, knowing he made her uncomfortable.

That was better. Kirie took a step backwards to put distance between them. “D-don’t take it wrong, but I like to do the chores by myself,” she said, between nervous and annoyed by the persistence. “You can watch. You won that…?” What did he want? Why he was prolonging this?

"You are more than a doll, Kirie," Julian replied. "All right. I will only watch." Then gestured towards the direction Kirie was headed before his itnerruption. "Shall we?"

“Huh?” Kirie turned to stare at Julian. “No, I am Master Uriel’s Doll. This body,” she said, pointing to its direction. “It’s dead. This city brought me back as Kirie, but when I died home he put my soul in that false body and I became Doll. I still am his.” She nodded. “This way. Master Uriel isn’t supposed to be bothered and… uhmm…” she frowned. “Tone down your aura. You’ll alert him.”

"Why?" He asked, it could have been about anything she said, he did not specify. Nor did he tone down his aura. Uriel, the angel of death, couldn't touch him. Iblis was superior to most angels of his world and figured the same of the other worlds.

“Because I don’t want him to know about you!” Kirie pointed out, looking down in embarrassment. “I can’t perform my chores until you do. You said you won’t interrupt them.” That was a good argument. Hanging out with Rosiel made Kirie better in the negotiation when she really cared about the subject.

"My aura stops your ability to clean?" Iblis asked, arching a pale brow. "How divine." Irony intended and toned down his aura.

It worked. It really worked. Kirie looked up at Iblis, her brows knitted in wonder. She smiled after, bowing her head in quiet thanks. “This way, please, Lord Julian,” she said politely, escorting him through the pathways been the trees and bushes. Maybe this… djinn wasn’t completely bad. He did tone down the aura. But it was really a scary one, she debated. It wouldn’t hurt if he watched her clean Uriel’s house with merry dedication or fix his tea. She didn’t know why. Her routine was pretty boring, but each time she tried to catch some “glorious” deed, it ended up in her death.

"Julian, not Lord," He replied, pressing a hand to her back and walking with her towards the house. He had seen her smile and the lift in her demeanor, visible on her face. The djinn was growing fond of her.
