LOG: ongoing

When; June 10
Rating; PG-13, subject to change
Characters; Wanijima Akito [[livejournal.com profile] attackshark] and Kaito [[livejournal.com profile] iawc] (...this was bound to happen)
Summary; After being discharged from the Serenity infirmary by Simon Tam, Akito takes over his body and heads over to Café Juliet to talk with Adam about moving to a new apartment. Before he can get there, however, he runs into Kaito, who's been looking for him all week.
Log;

Akito skipped along, careful not to put too much stress on his recently healed legs, but feeling good that he was all patched up, going to the café, and going to see Adam again. The sky was clear and from what he could tell, there was no curse. A perfect day.

He rounded the corner and stepped into the square, stopping for a moment to look around. Adam wasn't anywhere in sight yet. Ah well, that was alright too; Akito had all the time to wait.

After all, it wasn't like he was being hunted.

...Maybe he should have bothered that smartass for some directions. Or even waited for that girl he spoke a bit with and asked for more. 'It's like any other entrance' is a rather disappointing answer. He’d been searching the whole damn city for something like that for the last.. who knows how fucking long. He wasn't going to start keeping count of the days like some criminal locked in a cell.

He meandered into the busy square and looked around. Probably the fourth time he's passed through the area. Didn't that one idiot post a map of this place before? Fuck.

Kaito hesitated in his thinking for a second and stopped. And stared. No fucking way. Finally. He could pick out that four-foot brat in a crowd of a thousand if he ever had to.

"Akito!"

"Cut the bullshit. Do you have any idea how long I've been out here looking for you?"

He didn't expect him to answer that question. Kaito moved towards the other at a determined pace, watching him intently with narrowed, reptilian-like eyes. Ignoring Akito pulling at his own clothing and inching away from him as he approached. The expected response. The little annoyance had better felt some regret for this wild chase he put him through.

"Just what the hell were you thinking? Running like that?"
