Through the too-bright neon pathways, Serph walked like a drunk man, feet not obeying his mind as he stumbled and swayed out of beat to the pounding rhythm of his heartbeat. Short nails scratched at the glowing mark on his cheek, blue spiderwebs already pulsing along his face like hairline cracks on an old mirror.

This was not good. He did not want to eat devour rip them and two and taste the sweet sweet red blood that flowed through their too-soft bodies hurt the people here, but Varna was hungry.
