Log;

Miroku was having a hard enough time keeping it to himself, what wonderful thing had happened. After all the time he had spent living with the promise of death from his kazanna, he had never thought of something like this as a real thing that would happen. It was always a fantasy, something that might happen, that should happen, but never seriously as something that would. He reached over and gently took Sango's hand with his own, running his thumb over her knuckles as he gave her a big smile. It still seemed sort of unreal. He knocked on Kitty's door with his other hand, and stepped back a bit, waiting for an answer.

As half-hearted attempts to tidy the flat were hardly the most rewarding of experiences, Kitty was very grateful for the distraction of a knock at the door. But it was more than a simple distraction - she already had a good idea of who it was, and was looking forward to seeing her friends. Recently Miroku sounded a little... odd... over the network. Not in a bad sense by any means, but she got the feeling there was something he wasn't telling her. And Sango too? Yes, it was the both of them.

Grabbing her jacket, she tried to remember how long the couple had been married. It never ceased to amaze her that normal things like that could happen in this place. Whilst attempting to count back the weeks and months in her head, Kitty went to the door and (after a brief moment of scrabbling with the keys) opened it with a grin, and a simple: "Hello!"

They looked so sweet standing there hand-in-hand that Kitty was tempted to say that she wished she had a camera on her. But then she decided that she didn't want to risk having to explain what a camera was, and smiled a little wider instead. "Do you want to come in first, or head out somewhere, or..."

Sango offered her husband a small smile, expression just slightly nervous. She felt slightly bad about leaving Rin at home alone, and she felt consistantly a little nerved at Miroku's latest attentions to her. She was fine, really. She kept telling him that.

The door to Kitty's apartment opened, and Sango grinned easily at their friend, waving lightly. After a moment, she merely shrugged at the question, looking in question to Miroku, "I'm not sure, myself."

Smiles all around, it seemed. Which was nice, and somewhat unusual in the City - though there hadn't been any terrible curses for a while, which probably explained it. But... was it just her imagination or did they both look a little... anxious?

"I suppose we could start walking to the gardens if you'd like," Kitty tried to shrug off the thought with a grin as she closed the door behind her, and started to lead the way out of the apartment block. But still, she wasn't able to entirely shake the feeling, and it was now coupled with a nagging voice in the back of her head telling her that her intuition was rarely wrong.

"Did you want to talk about something in particular?" At least, she thought, that was a fairly subtle way of checking for hidden motives.

'Walking in the gardens' sounded nice, if a little oddly formal. No matter, though. The weather was lovely enough for a walk, and conversation and excercise were goog things in which to proceed a meal.

"Oh?" She answered Kitty question with another short one, shrugged slightly and subconciously holding onto Miroku's hand a little tighter. "Um..." She didn't want to make a big deal about it, and spend the whole night scaring herself to death with conversation concerning the fact that she was officially with child.
