DEVIL MAY CRY MIXUP: [ON GOING]

When; Saturday 23
Rating; God knows. [Mature] for language, blowing up bloody chunky demons?
Characters; Rosette [profile] bound_by_time, Abel [profile] neverblessed, Lady [profile] quamserena, Dante [profile] so_not_vergil, Alec [personal profile] twinned, [Everyone else in the DMC world is welcome to join in too! ]
Summary;  Currently with Father Abel in tow, A bickering Lady and Rosette Attempt to get their asses out of a demon infested building and onto safer ground. God knows how the other City residents who were taken are fairing.
Log;

Utterly confused, annoyed, and now towing an exceptionally tall priest behind her, Rosette was far from what you would call happy. Getting thrown into the city was one thing, but into a place that resembled pandemonium, crawling with the most hideous creatures? They were like Legion, at least, and not the more intelligent brand of demons. Not like Pursuers or, thank god, Aion's crew.  And it wasn't like the exorcist hadn't dealt with creatures like this before, it was more the sheer NUMBERS of the bastards.

"Demonic BUILDING?!" The blonde yelled, unloading her gun into the menagerie of creatures in their way, and struggled to reload her gun with one hand. "Are you kidding me?! The building!?" She cursed out a string of profanities that shouldn't have left a nun's mouth, before finally getting reloaded, and made sure none of the disgusting critters sunk up behind them.

It wasn't even funny how USED to this Lady was, accounting for the various amount of scars. In a humoring way, it was funny to run into other people, trapped inside-- hey, didn't father mentioned something about a Mallet Island? One of the things Lady was told ever since the beginning she'd be crazy enough to hunt demons was to keep a constant pace, keep moving. Though now, she didn't exactly have to worry about speed, did she?

She was oddly nonchalant about this whole mess, a hand resting on Kalina Ann's strap, and with a loud sigh, she was calculating what was coming, and it was more the same the stupid lust demons. Those were easy, stupid -- the only problem was, they were awfully quick little bastards with their scythes.

And almost in a dance-like steps, Lady had begun her usual dodge and run tactic, from before entering the City, keeping mind she was keeping a mental tally in her head on how many demons she was killing. Though Dante's presence might've been a GOOD thing against that loud woman, he was still on the opposite end, the half demon, "OH, shut up," After a few loud rounds of her machine guns, and quickly switching over a handgun, "You could be in Temen-ni-Gru."

If I see another clown...

Well now.....this wouldn't do. As much fun as he was having making a serious dent in these bastards, it was getting boring by himself. Therefore, time to do something about it. Skidding to a stop after another series of spinning strikes, Dante scowled, studying the wall in front of him. That looked promising.

"Heh, let's see how stable this fuckin thing is, eh?"

With a glint in his eye, Dante flashed a toothy grin and pulled Ebony and Ivory. Aiming carefully, he fired a barrage of gunfire at the brick wall, concentrating the shots in several specific locations.

"There we go. Now to just connect the dots!"

Surging forward, he swung the sword, burying it into the wall and driving it through brick and masonry, cutting a rough square. Leaping back, he snickered before walking back up to the wall and kicking it squarely in the center. With a creaking groan, the piece of wall shuddered, wavering slightly before it toppled over, impacting the wall behind it and continuing the chain, holes breaking like dominos in a line.

With a smirk and a spin of his guns, Dante shrugged. "Now that's more like it."

Joshua had been wandering around for some time on his own, and while he was very disturbed about having been separated from Nill, it had been undeniably fun ripping into some demons. They were easy to get rid of, but there tended to be hordes of them. Especially those bizarre marionette type creatures.

He had just stepped down a hallway in search of an exit when he heard the sound of...something crumbling, and turned just in time to see a piece of wall begin to crumble down on him. The teenager reacted quickly, horns appearing and wings fanning out as he jumped out of the way, watching as it toppled to knock out another piece behind it.

An appreciative whiste was offered before he landed and rested a hand against the wall, peeking through the large tunnel created. He could see a few people far down, and that made him sigh. He'd been hoping that it would be more demons.

He wasn't even trying to remain slouched right now. Father Abel Nightroad allowed himself to be tugged, his gun hand hopelessly tangled up but his other hand free so he can check his portable. Despite his usual goofy antics, he wasn't that dumb and had figured that there might be other people arriving in this place. He also wasn't as bothered by the demons as he let on; both as an AX agent and as a Crusnik, he could handle them. He was just not comfortable with killing anything.

Of course, him being dragged around was not getting them any where. After his rather silly stunts with his gun earlier, he hadn't shot anything except his mouth while typing with one hand over the small letter pad on his hand held computer. He answered Lady Caterina and her brother, and then gapped at the sudden message from the Pope.

Abel tugged free of the hand gripping him and stuffed the tiny computer back into his robes. Blue eyes narrowing behind his glasses, he spun, took down two of those lust demons and then skidded through the blood towards Lady.

"Where's a tower in this place?"

If his voice sounded deeper, it was understandable. Dropping the act was far more preferable than letting His Holiness get hurt.
