Log (Open)
When: June 25th, late afternoon
Rating: PG for now
Characters: Darth Bane
Summary: The Sith Lord decides to sneak in some practice time in the snow.
Log: Moving slowly through the snow, his heavy footsteps leaving a blatant stretch of tracks in the still-falling snow, Darth Bane's dark form stood out against the backdrop of whiteness around him. He moved through the streets of the city, his eyes scanned the world around him ever alert. The streets around him were deserted save for the occasional group of people playing in the snow, but Bane only gave them a passing glance. He wanted solitude for what he had planned.
eventually his wanderings took him away from the City proper and into the surrounding forested area. He sought out a clearing in the trees, and after a few minutes of random searching he found a place that seemed spacious enough. He shrugged off his cloak and unclipped his new weapon from his belt, activating one end of the blade in a flash of blue light. He stood staring at the blade for a moment as he let himself sink into the Force, feeling it's dark energy course through him, warming his blood against the cold around him. An aura of fear projected around him, just strong enough to keep the simple-minded animal life of the forest away. Slowly he brought the blade down into a low-guard position, and then proceeded into a simple Kata. He put the weapon through a few simple turns and thrusts, the simple hum of the blade as it moved through the air resonating in his ears. He let himself sink into the rhythm of the Kata, building speed slightly as he gave himself over to the movements.
[OOC: More to come later, assuming I'm inspired and Bane isn't interrupted. :P]

Eve had become interested in Bane in the past month or so. She could care less what world he came from, what his past was like.. No, what interested her was the fact that his Force felt similiar to her own powers. If was comforting, in a way.
The energy led her to him. Eve kept her distance though, as not to distract him. She mearly wanted to watch but kept her guard up just incase. You could never be too sure in the City.

With a flourish Bane came to a stop after finishing his routine, his breath coming a bit heavier than usual and a faint sheen of sweat on his skin. He brought the blade up and held it straight up in front of him, bowing to an imaginary opponent. He turned the weapon sideways and activated the other side of the 'saber, and a blood-red bar of energy emerged from the other end of the hilt. He was just about to begin another practice routine with the newly formed weapon when he sensed a disturbance in the Force, and his face contorted into a frown as he concentrated on it. It was a life form, but there was something strange about it. It was like nothing he'd ever sensed before, and yet at the same time strangely familiar. He considered calling out the the being, whatever it was, but instead he merely grinned slightly and went into his next routine, the blue and red halves of his new 'saber blurring together in a flurry of motion as he went. Whatever it was, if it wished interaction he was sure it would make its presence known soon enough.
