Summary; Ran begged Kira to fly her around in his Gundam. Kira can't say no so he does just that. Feel free to have a Gundam flyby XD.
Log; Kira sat down against the wall of the fountain. He didn't dare look in as he heard horror stories about what people would see in the water. Instead, he was insistent on tightening up his gloves. Ran did ask to fly with him, so he naturally put on his pilot suit. He was aware that Ran would probably laugh at him but safety does come first. He looked up, trying to find a sign that the hyper girl was approaching him so he could prepare himself.

Ran skipped into the center. She wore a long red jacket with a pink halter top under it. She had black shorts on and knee high platform boots. She was really excited to see what the hell Kira piloted. She spotted him and couldn't help but laugh at him as she walked closer. "What is that?"

Kira stood up and gave a small frown. "It's a pilot suit. It's what I'm supposed to wear when flying." Kira motioned down the street. "We have to go out to the forest because that's where I keep my mobile suit. I hope you don't mind the short walk."

Ran smiled. "That's cool with me. I hear there are monsters in the woods as well though." She started walking forward. "Ok master pilot, show me the way to this mobile suit thing of yours." Turning around she gave him a large grin.

With a warm smile, he started forward, making sure Ran followed behind him. "If we run into any monsters, I'll make sure you don't get hurt." He lead her through the streets of the city. Finally, they were out of the city and nearing the edge of the forest. "Want to wait here and have me pick you up or do you just want to keep coming with me?"

Ran was already in the woods when he asked because she had not stopped. "Hey, Kira, are you going to come or not? I don't know what it looks like so I might get lost." She kept walking forward. "Your uniform is very interesting, I bet this mobile suit is pretty cool as well."

Kira warned her with his hands excitedly. "Hey! If you go to far, you'll walk right by it!" He dashed over to a section that wasn't to far away and started to pull at something. After a sharp tug, the camouflage fell off his Gundam. It stood around 40 feet tall and it's golden joints shined brightly when the camo was pulled off. He grabbed onto a rope and motioned for Ran to come over. "You'll have to ride up in my arms."

Ran wasn't really listening to him. She was gawking at the MF HUGE ASS ROBOT. "Oh my GOD."

"Ummm....Ran? If you want to get in, I'll have to take you up." Kira waved a few times, trying to get her attention.

She was in such a daze she just walked over to him, still looking of at the MFING HUGE ASS ROBOT.

Kira sighed. She must not be from anytime near his, he thought to himself. He wrapped his arm around the rope and stuck his foot in the look at the bottom. Then he knelt down and with superhuman strength, picked up Ran marriage style. He gave a jerk on the rope and began to wind upwards towards the cockpit.

Ran was still in shock but not enough not to hold on to him. Actually, it was more like a wrapping her arms around his neck for dear life type of deal. "Please don't let go," she quickly said into his ear.

If Kira was the joking type, he would have acted like he was going to drop her, but he didn't. When they reached the end of the line, he popped a switch with his elbow and the cockpit hatch opened up. With Ran in his arms, he couldn't grab onto anything, so he had to take a short leap of faith. So with a short hop, he landed inside the cockpit and sat Ran neatly down onto his lap.

Ran was very shaken by the entire thing, well that was until she saw the view. "Oh wow, its so pretty from up here." Smiling back at Kira she wondered about how this silly thing moved. "so show me what makes this suit step?"

Kira nodded once and flipped ten switches and pressed the final startup button. A screen popped up, proclaiming the Gundam MOS. After it finished booting up, the radar appeared. He grabbed one joystick and pushed the acceleration handle at the half way mark. He moved that hand over to another joystick and gripped it tightly. "Hang on!" He pushed his foot down on a pedal. Strike Freedom bent at the knees and the wings opened up. With a quick leap, it pushed itself high in the air with it's thrusters flaming blue.

Ran clung to him again. "Wow!!!!!!!" After a moment she let go and tried to poke the screen and stared at all of the buttons before looking at him. "How the hell you know what all these buttons do?!"

Kira smiled and gave her the simple but real answer. "I just do. It's because I was made this way." Kira studied the sensors for a moment before turning his head back up again. "Don't push any random buttons. You might do something you don't want to happen. Anyways, where do you want to see from the air?"

Ran smiled. "Wooooooooow." She just kept looking at the view, really not listening that much. "Kira can you go into space with this?" She was actually just kidding when she asked that.

"Well, it can't escape Earth's atmosphere without a booster rocket but yeah, it can fly in space. That's why I have this suit, so if something happens I won't die in the cold and vacuum of space." Kira pushed the accelerator forward more and flew to the top of the barrier, where they could see everything.

Ran's eyes went big and she held onto him "I didn't actually mean that!" She didn't let go this time, everything seemed to scare her. "What is this scary thing actually meant for?"

Kira looked down, his eyes watered a little from bad memories. "It's meant for fighting. But I never wish to use it that way but I needed to protect my friends and the innocent people. I use it for that."

Ran tried to cheer him up. "Its ok Kira. It probably was whatever you needed to do at the time." She gave him a warm smile. "Sometimes you need to fight to keep the things you love safe."

Kira nodded, knowing it was the truth. "Even though I just met you not to long ago, I know you're a nice person. I'd fight to protect you too." Kira said that very sincerely. But they were still floating up here high in the high. "Well, anywhere you want to see?"

Ran smiled. "Well I have never been this high up before so I don't know where to go, why don't you show me the best place to be." She was becoming much more relaxed in his lap now. "You know you are a lot stronger then you look" she said idly as she watched the outside.

Kira pushed both joysticks forward and the wings flapped once before quickly propelling them over the lake. "I'm strong because I'm not a Natural like you. I'm a Coordinator. My body and genes are built differently from yours. I was made to be the ultimate human being."

Ran blinked. "Wha?" She pinched his arm. "Well you feel human."

Kira reached up with his right hand and lightly bonked her on her head. "That's because I am human. I never said I wasn't."

Ran playfully stuck her tongue out at him, winking one eye. "Well you got all serious about it. I thought I would just play with you. Ran is pretty strong as well, you know."

Kira shook his head playfully. "I'm sure you could beat me up any day." Kira pushed on the pedals and took them on a slow fly around of the city, admiring the sights from the air. Yet another place he would most likely protect. he hoped no one would try to start a war here.

Ran smiled. "You're silly Kira." She pointed down. "Hey look thats my fav shop right there!"

"Really?" Kira dropped the Strike Freedom low and hovered over the store. He flipped the Gundam face down and held onto Ran so she wouldn't fall and hit the cockpit hatch. "Does it look better from up here?"

Ran smiled. "Yeah Kira, I can see the store just fine, you dont have to do this." She squeezed the arms that held her to him.

Kira pushed on the pedals one more time. He had to show off, even if just once. He pushed the acceleration level all the way to the max. That started the Gundam flying at full speed. He headed back towards where he landed and pulled a few barrel rolls on the way. He flew upwards a little and then brought the Gundam down for a soft landing. "I can't let people see it to much. I don't want people to know it's mine or they might get ideas."

Ran was holding onto him for dear life, but she was also really excited looking. "Wow, Kira this is really awesome." She smiled warmly at him. "Thank you so much for taking me to see your Gundam, I am glad that you trust me with knowing it."

Kira maneuvered the Gundam's arm to sit in front of the cockpit and opened to the hatch. "Hop onto it's hand and it'll take us down."

Ran nodded and hopped onto the funny looking hand. "Ok I am here."

Kira jumped over to the hand and it set them down on the ground. He quickly rigged the camo so it would be put back over the Gundam. "I can't leave Suu by herself to long, so I have to head back to my apartment. Want me to escort you to yours?"

Ran smiled. "Yes please, thank you."

Kira began to walk back towards the city. "Then let's go."
