Summary; Riku has arrived in the City...right in the middle of the blizzard. Daisuke and Nanami set out to retrieve her!
Log;
A child was out in the blizzard. Nanami couldn't believe it, and didn't want to let it stretch out any longer than necessary. She hurriedly threw on her coat and gloves, and grabbed the biggest blanket she could find, before she tore out of her apartment and down the stairs.
She stepped out into the storm and gasped at how painfully the snow stung her face, as compared to the pleasant tingling from the day before. Riku definitely couldn't stay out in that weather for very long, and Nanami tightened her coat around her as she waited for Daisuke.

Getting back would probably be the hard part, but, really, as long as they reached one of the buildings, it would be fine. They could just take one of the other empty apartments until the storm blew over.
"Hold on tight, your friend just needs to get inside one of these buildings where it's warm."
Nanami gripped Daisuke's hand tightly and clutched the blanket close to her chest. She squinted against the storm, trying to make out the bright lights of the carousel as they trudged through the snow.

Keeping a steady pace, the two kept their path straight, trying to spot any form of life or a fountain. Daisuke hoped that Riku would be alright.
"RIIIKUUU-SANNN" He called her name out over and over, hoping the howls of the wind wouldn't carry his voice away.

It was the chill that was affecting her the worst. Her arms were tight around her body, almost frozen to the spot she stood. Her clothes were wet, her hair was wet, even her socks were wet. She just wanted Daisuke to get here soon...
It actually came as a shock when she heard his familar voice, and her heart lurched before she looked up, trying to see anything moving through the blizzard.
"NIWA-KUN!?" She tried, coughing hard from the chill that bit at her throat. She took a step forward, in an attempt to get closer to the voice, but she lost her footing from the extended cold, and fell to her knees.
"DAISUKE!" She tried again.

And then she saw it, the fountain, though it was frozen, and the snowmen they had built the day before were completely indistinguishable against the other mountains of snow. And there, huddled on her knees and obviously freezing, was Riku.
Nanami released Daisuke's hand momentarily and tore off her coat and wrapped it around the other girl, and then wrapped the blanket around her, as well.
"You're Riku, right?" Nanami asked, and shivered against the harsh weather. "I'm Nanami, we'll get you back, okay? Why don't you get on my back and I'll carry you?"

"It won't be a problem," he added with a smile to reassure the two girls that he could carry her weight. He turned around ready if Riku and Nanami agreed to him giving her a piggy-back ride back.

Nanami straightened her back and tried to look as tough as possible, despite that she was starting to feel the effects of the cold. "If I can carry my unconscious brother through a town infested with zombies, I think I'm more than capable for this job!"

It was best they get inside as fast as possible anyway. The last thing Daisuke would want is for all of them to get colds.

The arrival of Daisuke must have stirred something in her mind, or rather shaken. The thought of this girl carrying her, when Daisuke was here. He was here and he'd come to rescue her. Why did that sound familiar?
"D-Daisuke!" She called out, attempting to get to him only to trip up on her way Riku collapsed against him, arms luckily finding their way over his shoulders. "Daisuke..."

She stared back into the snow and darkness, trying to see if their tracks were still visible. Faintly, but they were still there. That would at least give her a good idea of where to go. Nanami rubbed her arms and stared back down at Daisuke and Riku.
"Guess I'll just have to carry you both, won't I?" Though it was more of a statement than a question, because she didn't give them the chance to answer before she hoisted them both up on her back and started trudging back through the snow.
